well anyway, on a happier note...yay for yoshiki!!
although, i was looking through my friend's cd case, and it was like, Hyde, L'arc~en~ciel, diru, duel jewel, diru, diru, yoshiki!! and i was like 'WOW, YOSHIIIKIIIIIII!!' but then i realized...there were two discs, and he was dressed all in white and looked so pretty...but on the cover of one he was holding a cello, and on the other a harp. i was really confused, and my friend was like, 'yeah, after X Japan ended and he produced Dir en grey, Yoshiki apparently went from being the world's most awesome drummer to...a classical musician??'
does anybody else know about this?? and if so, could you pleasepleaseplease explain the odd transition?? it left us both very confused. (she said the cds were good, though...)

yeah.... his project UK stuff is all clasical....

it makes sence tho... yes... he was a drummer... but also a piaonist....
clasiacal stuff... yes, it isn't... the same as ock... but they can have some very similar aspecs.... i think he fits really well into it....
i like clasical... granted i don't go out my way to talk about it or listen to it like Jrock... but... well i guess it's good i like it cos i'm made to sing it every weekend...

i'd really like to hear some of his... i think it' called Project UK.... stuff... i love Piano pieces, and always looked forword to hearing the solos in the X stuff...

i can see how it would seem a shock... i mean... he's Yoshiki... the drummer for X Japan... like... the first Japanese Visual Kei band... a revolutionary group in the history of Japanese [o]Rock[/i]... nd now he's doing clasical stuff...

but the thing about Yoshiki... is... he's not just a drummer.... he's a musician through and through... and i think the clasical industry suits him well... be cause he really gets to abue all his abilities.
the main difference between clasical and rock is the instruments used...

yeah, i guess it does make sense...it still came as a shock, though. but i know what you mean about classical music, i'm the same way, mostly because i play it on the piano, so i like it.

yes, but it's an actual dvd. it was released in america last year, and you can buy it at the bookstore for like $20.00. my boyfriend got it for me for my birthday! :smiling: teehee. it's really good, i like it, and not just because of who's in it, either. although it also has Wang Lee-Hom, and i think he's cool. :blush: i recommend it, but only if you aren't bothered by blood and gore.

I mean there was a screen with videoes, there was blood on Kyos face and offcourse that amazing outfit (I cut the leg off a pair of pants I got!). It was enough for me.
But all the pictures you see on the net are from the festival, they played at what, two o'clock or something...
I mean it's broad daylight, it just can't set the mood right. With or without effects...

its totchi's new found obsession.... A TANK!! he's got this remote controlled tank and he's driving it around at other people and shooting them lmao. its so cute and he finds it absolutely hilarious. at the beginning after totchi finds out it can shoot kyo's knees nearly collapse on themselves from him laughing. and about ten seconds in he tried to shoot kaoru and some random guy but they manage to jump out the way in time.
when the tank goes up to some other guy near a suitcase die is filming it and he has the most amazing laugh (including the hyperventilating bit in the middle), it just made me laugh out loud along with him lol.
