Are you guys insane?! Why the H-E-double-hockey-sticks would I listen to the L'arc ness monster? lol New releases...guys haha. Has Gazette released something since NIL? Why would I even subject myself to alice nine's new album? Did Shou get a vocal chord transplant that I wasn't aware of or something? LOL...
I got Type A. I went for song titles. I liked the innuendo with "deep forest" haha. What hepatitis did you contract (in other words, which type did you get)?

RuRu... gosh they are so fine. I have a hard time deciding on my favorite because I base a lot of it on personality, and I hear Tooru is selfish. I don't like the idea of him being selfish one bit... haha.

A double date will be swell... I have a triple pass for the aquarium, zoo, and IMAX... we could go see the fishies and the animals then have a picnic at the park right outside the zoo... then for a finale go have sex with them in the in the back during one of those educational films they show at the IMAX... haha don't ask
oh goodness!!! HAVE FUN!!! the zoo is definitely a fun filled place =P that is... um... if your going there for fun =) i would seriously just ditch the aquarium and the zoo and go STRAIGHT to the back of the IMAX =P

This is extremely off topic, but I would bring Gara along for the trip to the aquarium, because he'd probably hold on to my side like a little kid when we walk past the fish tanks HAHA. How can you be scared of fish?! As for 12012...Hiroaki is my man. We're past the dating stage, though, and have moved on to bigger and better things, don't ask haha.

I got tomorrow off work! Thats Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off!!! a much needed break so there will be plenty of time to watch CROM... if only Erica's sleep schedule was some what normal haha.

To be honest, I just listened to it through once, but I don't have an opinion on it yet, because I was distracted by doing other things at the same time, as well as being a bit tired as I've more or less only just touched down. :sleep: Let's put it this way; it didn't kill me like Houyoku did. There seemed to be a few nice basslines, I picked out that much, and it seemed a different kind of atmosphere, which is good if they try new things. I really need to give it a more careful listen. Not every song stands out, which disappointed me a little from MUCC, but... well yeah, I need to listen again when I'm in a fit state. :p

I just listened to the new single, and I quite like it! Heart is fun and upbeat with just enough "heaviness" to it to make me really enjoy it. Definitely a step in the right direction for 12012, imo.
I can't wait to actually get my real, i.e. legal, copy of it.

Although I don't dislike it, I was hoping for something that stood out a bit more. I certainly wouldn't skip over the tracks, but for me it doesn't have that 'zing' that sets it apart. :bluush:
Still, they haven't lost any technical skills, that's for sure, so perhaps their next release will be a bit more up my street.

I just noticed that 12012 has been added to the jhouserock website as an artist. This doesn't mean anything, necessarily, I just thought I'd mention that they're now Jhouserock-affiliated.
Of course this means that it'd be easier for them to tour here in the future, but at the least it just means it'd be easier to get their music and other merchandise (from an American distributor).
p.s. I posted this in the Sadie section too (they too were added)

Yaay, I finally heard Heart. I'm so far behind.
I'm so glad they did something so different, because even though I love their style of music I think artists should change sometimes.

I suspected this but it has now been confirmed.
12012 will perform their first ever US concert at Oni-Con in Houston, Texas this year. October 20th and 21st are the dates for the concert.

I may work this summer, but I'm taking the max number of credit hours this quarter in school so that I can attempt to graduate on time, so it's hard to find a job that will accomodate my hectic school schedule.
The concert isn't until October, though, so I figure I can save enough by then to fly to Texas ... hopefully.
I'm so happy that it was finally announced that they're coming here, though, it's exciting :-)
I'm sure they'll come to Europe eventually ^^
ahhh fwak (new language, excuse-me).. There's no way i'm going to Texas despite my wish to see them live. But I do hope more people will go there and support them in my place ;D

Haha! My FVT report was really short. It consisted of shopping, getting stared at, a Japanese photographer taking pictures of me while dancing to the music Diru was playing, shaking Kyo's hand, and him waving bye to me. ^_^;;

i've learned my lesson, always pay for more than one picture, being that it's a polaroid, you get only one chance. good thing Harry has gotten better at his photography. hahahahahaah

We weren't allowed to take pictures inside, but they came upstairs afterwards so we could take them through the windows :D
And there were no one stopping us when they went into the concert hall.

I understand exactly what you mean by "straighten his face out", haha, but I thought he was a total cutie anyway ... much hotter than he is in print. Actually all of them were quite attractive in person, I'm surprised to see anyone thought otherwise, but I suppose everyone has their own opinion. More so than just 'looks', I also noticed that there wasn't much going on in terms of bass lines while watching him play. I mean don't get me wrong, there was some interesting stuff, but I guess I was so spoiled at my last concert watching Yukke (MUCC) play, that now any bassist following isn't going to be as interesting to watch. I found myself staring at Mr. Suga's guitar a lot more so than Tomo and his bass.
Bleh whatever, good shows anyway. The second more so than the first, but both were pretty good.

I suspect the song you're talking about is newspaper, but I've no way to be positive about that, I just know there's that little bass "solo" blip type of thing right at the end of the song. They played a lot of older songs that I wasn't expecting to hear, which was nice, nice variety. Hearing both Shinshoku and newspaper was great friday night ... nice crowd pumping songs. I'm not sure how accurate those setlists are, though ... because I swear they played Shudder on Saturday.

oh this is beyond sad... i'm actually embarassed for all of you...
so yea about the shows ...anyone have any opinions or things to share other then desires of groping/molesting/licking/harrassing/etc, inappropriate gifts, and breast signing... cause i dont know... i mean i spent hard earned money to see 12012's first american lives... not to get my boobs signed... maybe i'm just strange for having a certain respect for them and a little dignity and decency... but i want to talk about what this weekend was really about...
i for one thought that these were their most intense lives ever! even songs i disliked i couldnt hate live. they play with so much energy and heart that i fell in love with all those songs. Yuusuke was so impressive and interactive... he had so much charisma and energy... i really fed off that cause i was feeling so weak... he really gave his all... he made me want to be strong... i felt like i could have ran on that adrenaline all night... the others too of course but especially him... and since i was in front of him i looked at him most naturally... haha
also i must say this was the first actual pit experience i had for a japanese concert... and i think a bunch of you people need some lessons in courtesy... there was no need for alot of the ugliness in the crowd... seriously guys... beating up the handicapped is unacceptable... what for... to get slightly closer... squeeze one arm or leg between me the the person next to me... you still cant reach them... and your ruining the show not just for me but yourself to you know or did you not realize it... it's pathetic... it's simple... i paid for my spot... so back the eff off
so now that i got that off my chest... what songs were golden?
day one i was totally blown away by Gallows, Hermit, Shinshoku and Vomit... i love Shinshoku so much... i was praying they would play it... and Gallows was such a tough and strong song to start with... but Cheeky Doll holds a special place in my heart cause of all the stupid dancing we made up for it... hahaha
day two... wow ...i mean practically the whole set... it was so intense... Venom... omg... i nearly died when i heard it... that's one of my ultimate fav 12 songs... and Shudder was my first 12 song so that was so special for me... Gallows again was so amazing... and Icy Cold City... i really have such a love/hate relationship with that song but i was totally pumped from that song... there was a newer song they played really early i never heard before... how bad of me... but anyway yea that one was so sweet! i'll have to find out what it was...

Um yea the chest signing thing was just for fun no harm ment by anything we actually did it was all fun. And the band was for it 100% if the expressions on their face was anything to indicate.
And yea the pit experience was pretty normal for shows like this. And believe me when I say the shows in Japan are 10 times worse with the fans. As for the shows. I was absolutely thrilled that they played Cheeky Doll. I really like that song. And everything about the 2nd night was just amazing. Until this weekend I was never really into 12012 but now I can really call myself a fan of thems.
And like you I spent my money to go see their first U.S lives as well. You think I don't work just as hard for my money...I'm not some spoiled brat where her parents buy her everything she wants I work for EVERYTHING I OWN OR DO. So I'm not going to spend some $400 dollars on a trip just to get my chest signed. And if you were so offended by the harmless fun I had then I really dont give a flying ****.

you think we need lessons in courtesy? that was nothing. you should have seen the phantasmagoria show last year. there's pretty much nothing you can do about how people will react during any show. tough it out, or just don't go. i thought it was pretty decent. i mean i've been to other shows where i've been knocked down. this was nothing. though i do have a bruise from the chick in front of me that grabbed my arm and tried to force it down, but i was too strong for her, lol.
we all spent our hard earned money to see 12012. why in the world would anyone pay for airfare, and hotel, take days off work/school just to "molest" a band cause we thought they were hot? we are fans, we wouldn't just blow our money on something that wasn't important to us.
and this boob thing, we wouldn't have bothered if we felt the band wasn't into it, and they totally were. they can say no.
as for the songs i really enjoyed hearing my room agony, that was so hardcore, and they played it both nights!. shower too. and umm oh yeah ms. vampire on friday, i had a burst of giggles cause i thought of nekkyo and her fangs. though i had wished to hear boku no kara kara, but i'm not complaining.

also i must say this was the first actual pit experience i had for a japanese concert... and i think a bunch of you people need some lessons in courtesy... there was no need for alot of the ugliness in the crowd... seriously guys... beating up the handicapped is unacceptable... what for... to get slightly closer... squeeze one arm or leg between me the the person next to me... you still cant reach them... and your ruining the show not just for me but yourself to you know or did you not realize it... it's pathetic... it's simple... i paid for my spot... so back the eff off

Look PKK, just because people do things differently than you doesn't make them less than you, and what you wrote really makes it seem that you do in fact feel "better" than others. I did write briefly on the other page about enjoying the live i.e. the actual music and set-list, but no I don't feel the need to write an entire livereport about it or give a serious critique of the music because that can be found elsewhere. If you feel the need to do that, then go right ahead, but us joking about things that happened this weekend doesn't give you a right to talk down like that because we're not doing what you would do. These forums are supposed to be for fun, for 'kicks' some would say, not about who is better than who. I could see if you made a post like this in the Miyavi or Gazette thread or something when every other day someone new comes in just to post "So and so is hot" or "I want to do this with so and so" and "I don't know their songs but they're hot" yada yada etc. etc. Yes, I see how that gets repetitive, is non-conducive to any real forum discussions, and overall just plain annoying. However, briefly joking about some things that happened AT the live that we all PAID to fly to, for the hotel, and to go see ... is not something to feel "sad" about. We're joking about having fun, seriously. Lighten up.
See... it'd be different if you were complaining about things like girls who ONLY went to the show to see 'some hot Japanese guys'. People who don't care about the songs, people who weren't into the live. Or even the teenaged girls at the Q&A session that insisted on asking absolutely inappropriate and mundane questions about porn and the like that were completely unrelated to music while people with real questions never got called on. We are not those people. I am an adult, I enjoyed myself immensely at the live (as did the other 4 people in this forum that you feel so sorry for) for the music, and I really don't think that because I (or any of us) discuss the experience that we had differently than you care to on this forum warrants you the need to lump us into your little 'fangirl' category and feel sorry for us. You don't know me, you don't know any of us, and I can remember a time when you would be joking on this forum right along with us.
I f*ing stood there in awe watching Suga's hands move across that guitar, in absolute envy at how good of a musician he is. I particularly kept most of my attention on Suga and Toohru because actually watching them play, not looking at how 'cute' they are, was amazing. It's the reason I love lives so much and go to so many so often nowadays, I love to actually watch while hearing the skill of a true musician. (and I also must admit I love to critique and compare musicians as well, which is why it's awesome that I live so close to a livehouse now so I can check out bands most nights).
I'm not going to get into the whole 'pit' thing either because I didn't think the pit was that bad this time at all. I've been punched, pushed, bitten, etc. in pits, and the most intense bruising I've gotten from concerts, funny enough, is from the American fans at Japanese concerts. It's part of what happens, and though it sucks, things are going to be that way. The best way to cut down on that, really, is to restrict access to older fans because it's often the younger crowds that cause the most 'damage' during lives. However, it's to be expected to get, pardon my word choice but, "f*cked up" at lives ... sometimes you just have to deal.
I agree about Yuusuke's energy, it was amazing. that being said, I've already made my comments about the live, earlier, so I don't have much else to say about that.
...and on a side note, 12 was completely fine and found the 'boob signing' thing hilarious. Wataru couldn't have gotten more excited at how silly of a proposal it was, and he gave a big old "Ooookaaaaaay *insert cheesy grin here*" at it, as did all of the other members. It's priceless adult humor, and I'm sorry if you don't get a kick out of it, but we and the band did.
If the band had a problem with such 'indecent behavior' then I'm positive Yuusuke wouldn't have looked at me, bent down and thrown a pic straight between my breasts on Friday night...
Like I said, I'm an adult, not a child, and I enjoy a little adult humor here and there. I don't look up to musicians as these 'untouchable idols' that you must hold the uptmost respect for yada yada, and I find it hilarious that so many people view musicians in that way ... especially a band as young as 12. Yes I enjoy their music, and I respect them as fellow humans, but I also see them as just a bunch of guys doing what they love, making good music and having fun ... and we did just that, had fun.

People knew what number they were ahead of time at this show, so I can't help but not feel sorry for the complaints in that area. If you know your ticket isn't 1-10, dress appropriately, or better yet ... don't stand directly behind the tall black chick then complain, ha!

I, too, think Wataru's vocals aren't particularly great, but I must say I enjoy his voice a lot more after hearing it live. Certain 12 songs recored I don't think give his voice the real 'credit' it deserves. He's actually a really strong vocalist.
Then again, we've been a bit spoiled singing D'espa, MUCC, and Dir live, all of which had such crisp vocals (especially Tatsurou! live, man oh man was his voice beautiful), so going from that to 12 is naturally going to be a bit of an adjustment, but I think Wataru lived up to the "challenge". I really like his voice, but I totally get what you mean.

Yes, Aki had a fun stage presence I think, but absolutely nothing compares to Suga's energy! Aki did bounce a bit when they switched sides, he seemed pretty happy, ne? I do wish I could've watched him play a little more, but I was so transfixed by Yuusuke and Tohru that I didn't really bother. As much as a cutie I think Tomo is, I was quickly bored with watching him play (not to say he wasn't fun to watch but...) When Aki came to our side I was pushed against the rail so friggin hard I still have a bruise going straight across my abdomen >.> Oi

And as far as Katsucon It is my belief that Gazette will be at Katsucon, or if not Gazette then some other band, as that is the next big convention coming up. (Not that Onicon was big by anymeans) also if you read the Kagrra, thread then there is a possibility that they will be coming to L.A in March/April.

Quit arguing about what happened in the crowd during the show... concerts can be rough, especially in the pit and even more if your health is bad... but people can't be expected to know who isn't in good health... I'm not condoning ignorant behaviour but it's a fact that at concerts you'll get some people who are ok and considerate, and others who fight and behave like total arseholes... and unless you've been in a personal scrap with someone from this forum I don't see why it's necessary to assume that they are the arseholes. I really do like you (well, as much can be known from an internet persona), so sorry if my post seemed harsh.
The real issue is that we need to keep in mind that the 5 of us (me, nana, boobs, nekkyo, and pixy_false) were there together at the shows for the most part. The 5 of us, though not necessarily all at once, were always together at some point from Fri-Sun, so we saw the shows together, we waited in line together, we experienced the show together, and we discussed it amongst ourselves for days.
So, coming back to the forums, I suppose there was a bit of a disconnect in seeing as some of the posts were really 'inside jokes' or little tidbits here and there about the weekend, that an outside observer, i.e. you, may see as any of the 5 of us just 'fangirling' and not talking about the shows. The thing is, we don't really need to discuss the shows or the experience in depth in any true way because we were all there together! We already know what happened, we were there ... Gah, did that make any sense?
Okay, so basically it's like this. In the future, I (at least) will attempt to keep forum discussion directed in a more general way as opposed to private jokes and such (for the most part) because I can see how reading our posts made it seem like the only thing we cared about was the nonsense that went on during the weekend, when in fact that is truly truly not the case in any way. In turn, I ask that you don't make assumptions about me or anyone else in such a negative way. It wasn't so much that you attempted to steer the direction of conversation back towards 12's music and the concert, it was that your post began with insults and overall had a sarcastic air of 'I'm better than you' to it. I totally understand your annoyance, especially because you probably have preconceived notions about some of us, but in the future I'm basically just asking for a relative degree of respect in your posts if your aim is just to direct conversation away from what you see as inappropriate or irrelevant conversation as opposed to just being plain mean. I forgot about the fact that you get sick a lot, you have that one fainty-disorder thing right? (You know you love my scientific medical descriptions, lol) Well, I'm glad you got through the show alright, and I'm sorry if I had any part in "hurting" you seeing as I was probably standing somewhere very close to you during the show. Being in the front, though, I didn't really see anything bad happen in the pit, I just felt my body completely mashed and punched every now and again, but it's all good.
Btw, I think I knew who you were too, but I made an effort not to say anything seeing as my typically nonchalant nature has a habit of unintentionally pissing people off so I thought I'd steer clear of making a further a$$ of myself then I already have...
Then again, I talked to everyone and their mama (lol, literally in 2 instances) in line on Sat because I was shall we say a bit tipsy, so lord knows whether or not I said anything to you, haha!
Oh, I didn't see any camera equipment, so I doubt there will be a DVD of any kind. I actually was on the lookout for that, but I didn't end up seeing anything. Too bad, ne, we'll just have to live off of the Hide & Seek Tour dvd~ (I love how I say that like it's a bad thing, lol)
Okay, lastly, 12 is releasing the new single next month, right? I hope it's good, I was really disappointed with PISTOL. Seriously, I really dislike that song >.> I liked HEART enough, but I still think they can do better than their last few singles. I guess we'll see with "Over..." . I still can't decide whether or not to pre-order it because I'm trying to save up for some other indies releases, but knowing me I'll probably cave and get it...

@pkk the reason everyone came at you like that was because as sun said the way your worded everything seemed as if you were sniffing your nose at us looking down at us and our demeaning actions and behaviour while making it seem like you were the better for the way you were.
And also just so you know I was freaking sick damn near all of Saturday and almost got sick on Friday before the concert. And as far as you being handicapped unles you show the obvious signs (wheel chair, crutches...) no one is going to know. And seriously Sunsweet, Boobs and I know better than most about waiting in line all damn day and risk not getting a spot (MUCC @ Otakon).
And I can honestly say that I did not have the best ticket number at all and still managed to get a good spot so your ticket number has nothing to do with you being in the front, but the lowerr number you have does help.

I don't know how I feel about the tracks. They're both fun, kind of upbeat, almost I dunno 'party-rock' in style ... but it left me thinking that they can do more than this. I mean, I liked Heart, I hated PISTOL, and this one is back on the level I think of Heart ... but 12 is kind of leaving something behind with these tracks. Funny enough, I think both tracks on wana would be really fun to hear live, but as far as an album ... I dunno, 12 can bring it harder than this. I'm starting to miss their older stuff...
Oh well, *goes back to listening to random J-indies bands that no one has heard of*

And I'm sorry to say, but in the pit you'll have to fight. Especially if you're in front.
I was lucky enough to be in front at the 12-show and I was fully aware that people would not like me very much and that they WOULD try to steal my spot. I had people sneaking their hands in between, but I was just being harsh back, crushing their hands under my arm on the fence.
But I understand what you mean by some crowds being worse than others. There are sometimes one can say that these people just don't have mosh etiquette.
But on the handicapped thing I have to disagree with you a bit. No matter what you have to consider before entering the pit wether or not you're up for it. We had a girl with us who had a broken toe and she chose to go sit and watch the show instead of getting in there.
And yeah, I guess we do think mostly of ourselves. Depends on our spots and moods and all, but I had travelled from another country to see them, so I just have to apologize for not inviting shorter people in front of me and ****. I don't do that. I guess that makes me selfish and I'm willing to admit that.
Ans yes, the concert was excellent music wise. Probobly the sound was better than most I wa to and they play so great. But the show was a huge part of the experience.
Now I don't know just how bad people have been with this, so I won't say too much.

I have Wana. I loooove six party it's just... It has such energy! There's a great drive in it. And it's got both the hard part and the soft part. Fantastic for lives. When they played it at the live no one had heard it before and before the first chorus was over everyone was singing along and clapping.
With Wana, the song I'm not sure. I havn't listened to it that closely yet. I like it more than I liked PISTORU though. I didn't like that one at all in the beginning, but after the live I've somehow discovered the greatness of it:p
So yeah, it's good. I think so anyway.

Actually I agree with DollPorn that the sound was not good at all. It was very MUDDY. And it also left a serious buzzing in my ears for like a week afterwards.

WOAH!!! im so glad i foud a thread for this band. i saw them live when they came to san antonio....they were amazing!!! and hot too!! i never heard of them before, but after seeignthem live i was hooked, they were like cocain....Miyawaki started sticking the whole mic in his mouth...it made me blush....

Yeah ... Boobs showed me those pics. They're also in the new issue of Cure, so my friend in Japan messaged me like "Hey, I saw you in magazine!" haha. It's kind of funny.
Anyways, I haven't even bothered getting Ichi ni's latest release yet b/c I haven't really been fond of the other ones. Meh ... I'll get to it one day.

I think it's great! Especially 6 party which is the sexest song I've ever heard(it's definitely on the list of sexest songs ever anyway).
It's got the drift, the drive, the pulse, the guitars. Just throws you right into the action.
They played it on the live, no one had heard it and before the first chorus everyone was clapping along!
And Wana too is great. I liked it better than I liked Pistoru before the live('Cause now I just absolutely frikkin' love it!)

I'm a huge 12012 fan, but I almost didn't want to post in here. :? All the arguing and well, everything. I spent all my money just for a pic with the band and an autograph! I barely ate all weekend, lol. But, it was my first time hearing them and seeing them. I fell in love, they rock. The sound was a bit off, my ears were ringing that following Tuesday from the Sat night concert. But wow. And, by the by folks, I also had my boobs signed. But only by Miyawaki and Tooru. I'm pretty sure I was the first (not sure) but seeing how surprised Miyawaki was when I asked him. Plus, I didn't see anyone one else coming out with their names on them. But, I did it for fun as well, just to see if they would. Well, and because no one in line thought I would. So, yeah, my silly little reason. I also asked Miyawaki and Suga to hold my hands for the pic, it just felt weird to sit down and not do something. And they were cool about it. I would like to find the other people I was hanging with in the lines for the pics and autographs... My pic with the band is my profile pic, and I can put my scan of my boobs on here (nothing that needs to be censored). It's funny though, when me and my friends got back Sunday night, I was sitting at my best friend's computer with her scanner in my lap hugging it to my chest (trying not to move) so we could scan the autographs! Neat thing, the way the colors came out, it looks like a drawn picture, the whole thing. Anyway, I just wanted to add my little two cents and connect with some other 12012 fans. They're not the only band I listen to, but they're the only ones I've seen live. Had a member of Phantasmagoria in the elevator with me at Oni '05, but that's a whole nother story!! :wave:

I tried this band out a month ago. Man, they hit me like a bolt of lightning. I love them so so much, and I plan on seeing them in concert as soon as I can. However, going to see Kagerou on the 17th has emptied my pockets for a very long time. XD
