Thanks for the hostel link, Furan! :cool: I'm gonna try and stay at that place, too then! :) (I stayed recently at a hotel on Piccadilly but it was payed for by my work, hehe.)
I'm going on Saturday and coming back Monday - taking the Mon off work :)
waw... i hear ticket sales are going kinda mad at some places...
makes england seemkinda boring :relief:
but MUCC's a good band to see first... so i hear ^^;
glad you're coming to the london gig Pjusk! it'll be great!
i'm not actually planning on staying at that hostle though... i've got friends in London ^^;

Whoa, you mean Helsinki's already sold out?! You Finnish people are crazy XD Ah well, once concert less for me to worry about~ I should get round to buying other tickets though. I still don't know where to go after London >~<
And I've just got an awesome idea what to give MUCC as their anniversary presents! (assuming there will be some signing sessions x_x). It will require an insane amount of work but feeeehh there's still lots of time till March. As soon as I'm done with finals I'll start working on it. And maybe post pictures here XD
Yeah Helsinki is sold out, in a day x) Some people have warned that the consert can be even a little dangerous because of the crazy fans @_@ Maybe I should buy a bullet-proof vest or something...
Anyone has any idea what they DON'T like to receive from fans? I have to buy something nice. Well, Finland is just well known for reindeers and stuff...hmmm would Yukke like reindeers...

as for ideas... it took me 2 weeks AFTER i saw plastic tree to come up with the most perfect gift for them... so... i have no idea what MUCC would want ^^;

Ohhh it looks like loads of you are going to see MUCC in London!! I really want to go.. But Its so hard trying to convince anone to come with me :(

well... it seems MUCC is a LOT more popular that D'espa.... or maybe just better publicised?
but the D'espa ones weren't even sold out on the day of the gig... nowhere near...

why do things always have to be sooo stupid... I think cologne will be to expensive... if not anyone of you know how to travle really cheap in germany... and I think I', a bit scared to travle to berlin from hamburg all by my self... but I want to see them more than two times...
oh, I've seen them 4 times before, all their conserts in germany.:relief: they are my favourit band, and they're so so so ******* good live!!:blush:

haha me rich... no I'm not.. I just travel cheap...and work alot and the pay is good but it's hard work...I owe my friend a lot of money...I use my vacation money for this trip, that I was lucky to get now instead of June^^;
so hehe, I'm not rich, I could be...if I worked a lot and didn't travel..if I saved all my money..hehe, but then life would be boring:cool:

Even though D'espa didn't sell out, they must have sold enough to make it seem like it's worth MUCC's while to come here! :cool: :happy:

actually... i don't think it was the ticket sales that really convinced them...
i think D'espa in general really enjoyed their tour and visit here..
but i also think just them coming here sparked a few wires in the biz... made people remeber we are part of Europ too... AND that there are a lot of fans here too~
... i still think they shoudl gig in Burminham though...
because even though London's easy enough to get to... it's really expencive for a LOT of people to travel down (without a rail card it's somgihtng rediculose like £120 from Newcastle to London... and that's a cheap fair...)

What songs do MUCC usually play live? Or what songs are their "classics", as some would say?
Still quite a lot of tickets left here, don't know how many though. Klubben has room for 700 people. How big are the other venues? Is there any gig that has sold out yet?
Tavastia has also room for 700 people. It was sold out, but today they started to sell more tickets, don't know why.. maybe some cancellations..
I'd like to know too about their classic-songs :-)

It's funny how last year in that one JaME interview they said they really wanted to play in England and Finland and it came true~~
We've yet to see them play in the North Pole though (Satochi...)
If I go, I would totally be in for the meet up. I miss people who I could talk with like MUCCer with MUCCer ;o;

I'd say their live 'classics' are Zetsubou and Daikirai (they're a must). My scarce experience in that field (I've only been to 3 concerts) though also wants to mention Suimin, Daremo Inai Ie and Namonaki Yume.

They play it live, though. They just recreate the string section with synthesizers. Either that or they just play back the recording of the string section. It's on the 666 DVD.

I'd like them to play... well, Zetsubou and Daikirai (of course! :blush: )... also Mae e (they played that at Munchen :love: ), and Monster, Akai Sora, Kuukyo na Heya (I'd LOVE to hear that song in live! :love: ), 1R (don't think they will since that's a real ballady-ballad XDXD but Tatsurou's voice in that kills me), Monochro no Keshiki (they played that in Munchen too, classic it was :cool: ), Ieji... well I love all of their songs but I really, really want to hear Gekkou in live... :silly: :love: :bluush: I have that song and Horizont alternately stuck in my head today (the more I hear Horizont the more I love it) I love those 2 songs but they make me feel so saaaaaaaaad... in a good kind of way :bawling: if you get it :p :blush:
And oh my god I really wanna hear bukra no kage... but if they played all the songs I wanted them to play the consert would last forever^^;;
maybe I'll be able to understand what Tatsurou's saying at this consert..no german:blush: then again maybe not:p

Uhm you guys, whoever says miracles don't happen is wrong - I have just (unexpectedly) received a really large sum of money which not only covers all my debts but leaves me with some extras @___________@
Therefore, I'll be in London for 99%!!! My ticket is already on its way. Joy!
It would really be cool to understand Tatsurou more (god, his English is so adorable <333). I always have problem with his German though because I kind of suck at German. But I must say I love his classic 'auf gehts, Deutschland!'. I want to hear it again ^^
I think I'll fly back home after London and then (almost 2 weeks later) go to Berlin. And something else before Berlin. Cologne or Munich, depending on how the train connections between those two cities and Berlin look like ^^

well.. i still really recoment that place in Piccadilly... just because it's got great placement... it's a 5 min walk from leicester square... 2 min walk from the Japan center, and like, a 1 min walk from the underground.... the only thing you may wanan be pre waned about is that it's all bunckbeds, you'll wanna take you're own pillowcase and... there's no lift ^^;

but... i mean... £12/15 a night... i'd say it's worth it... still, i'm still hoping to stay ate my friends so... ^^;
Hostels are fine... well I guess maybe not quite all... if you get unlucky and get one that's dirty or some such... but it's only for 1 or 2 nights so you're hardly gonna die :p ... I have to say I've always been lucky when I've stayed at hostels... I never got a place that was really filthy, nor had to share a room with horrible people... you wait, I'm tempting fate now! :hihi:

found a nice one near hyde park for like £40 a night
so shared its £40 each for the two nights, which is fine by me. I get paid 2 weeks before the gig so its alright!!

I arrive on sunday at 11.19, so I go straight to the hostel, I can join the line in the early-mid part of the afternoon. :-)

I've been to see Despa last year in November~ and I have to say... I was so surprised! I never thought it would be that damn good!
But i don't think I would like to compare them to the other concerts I went to... like diru oder gazette or something... that doesn't work in my head XD
So I think MUCC will be damn good, too, because I like their music a lot... but I'm kinda sad, they won't play kouchiki no tou anymore~ it's my favorite LP of MUCC ;_;

It's because of the backround... they recordet this LP instead of disbanding. It was tatsuro who did anything wrong and they really thought about disbanding, but than they did this LP to feel better and now they won't play it anymore, because they want to forget this bad times and feel like they have just got over that~

I give all my hope, so that they will play just anything of Kouchiki no Tou~ but I also remember that they said they just completed this CD with their Tour at this time, when they played ist and now there's no reason anymore to play those songs~

I love all of MUCC's songs, so I can't say there is one album or single I like better to hear them play off... but I can say I would really look forward to hear them play stuff from Gokusai... that album is so f*cking great... I listen to it over and over often now... :love: I like their others much but since that one is the newest... :relief:
Hmmm I also thought MUCC were better in live than D'espa, but it wasn't to do with crowd interaction from my point of view, cos D'espa did that as well... for me (just a personal view :relief: ) it was because MUCC's songs had more complicated lines for guitar (so more interesting to hear/watch live) and also I think they made better use of the lights to change the mood. :p
Anyway... as MUCC are my favourite band (I don't count Kozi because he's a solo artist rather than a 'band' :hihi: ) I don't mind spending money over and over again to see them. :-)

It's because of the backround... they recordet this LP instead of disbanding. It was tatsuro who did anything wrong and they really thought about disbanding, but than they did this LP to feel better and now they won't play it anymore, because they want to forget this bad times and feel like they have just got over that~

Hey, wasn't it Bouzenjishitsu that was the effect of their disagreements not Kuchiki no Tou? Because Tatsurou said something similar about that song (on Glorious Angel) and actually the lyrics would correspond to it...

It's funny when the fans have more extreme makeup and looks up than the band (German people in particular tend to be like that - not everyone of course @_@;). But then again, I love the looks of utter stupefaction on normal people who pass a group of queuing jrock fans XD
I too have difficulties choosing what to wear (and making it later). Especially that as a fashion design student I feel a pressure on me ._.; But I'm going as some variation of 'victorian muccer' as usual. I love that style I've come up with ^^;

Germans are really specific in that case... and I have to say (I can do that, because I'm german, but I'm not with that visual styling ^^): I hate german visual kei. I think, what german visuals wear isn't pretty anymore. It's just kinda mix of goth and punk and that's not visual to me anymore.
Furan~ You won't believe it, but my friend and I... we're gonna dress like "hachi" ... when we decided to wear that pretty, girly dresses, we just called it: "Project: Hachiko" ... because we thought about that scene of the NaNa movie, too XD ^^ ..:p And Hachi is that typical cute girl we want to represent there ^^

that idea came from their gokusai-comment where they are discussing yukke's changing hairstyle and how the band loves to follow people's different reactions :D i wan't to express my everlasting love for his marvellous hairdo! finnish people don't get the kanji anyway so i can say it means something really deep and impressive if someone asks. haha.

Ah, Pjusk, I'm going to wear a Tatsurou t-shirt too! XD Only it barely can be called a t-shirt ^^; It's tight-fitting, black, with poofy sleeves and has this white print of Tatsurou's head and hands on it. It's kind of silly though because it looks like he's coming out of the t-shirt, Sadako style. Or something. I need to take pictures of it ^^;

I take back whatever I said about Libra PV T_T It's the awesomest thing ever. It's like Buck Tick's 13kai meets Waga, Arubeki Basho. Sort of. Musially wise, I only like Dark Tatsurou's part. Because I'm in love with the Dark Tatsurou character *dies*

I know T____T In my case Libra only adds to the excitement; I've become seriously obsessed with it.
After Horizont and Utagoe (*shudder*) I want to raise my hands in the air saying FINALLY!!! at its coolness. Libra is visually the closest thing to my personal style (I'm not a goth though XD) that MUCC have made.
Too bad I have too little time to crate a Libra-inspired outfit T_T I'm in the middle of making a corset (without MUCC logo print this time^^;) for the concert though XD

I listened to Libra! not the whole single but just the title track. It's really cool, I love it! :silly: :happy: I love the way MUCC take their influences from a range of types of music but still create something that's their own but without sounding always the same... :cool:
I finished my garment mainly! :p I still need to put some straps and decorations on it but that will get done in time! :)

and yeah, i agree about the influence thing... they're just, a little unpredictable because if it, and i LOVe that in a band XD
i tend to get a little nausiated by these bands that, as great as they are, always seem to bring out something similar to the thing before... (why i started doubting kagrra, and always end up regretting it :relief:)

Okay. The show is over, just came home, it was AWESOME. Oh gosh the audience behaved so well, MUCC played almost all of my fav.songs: Ryuusei, Rojiura Boku to Kimi e, Media no juusei, Daikirai...and LIBRA! <3 all of us went crazy and of course MUCC too! :-)
And Tatsurou spoke finnish! At one point he didn't know what to say so he just stared at us saying "e too" (i don't know how to spell it) and then after a silence shouted "YUKKE DESU!" :D Then he started to film Yukke^^
I noticed finnish audience loves Yukke, maybe that's why Tatsurou introduced just him :relief:
Ah and then Tatsu promised to come back to Finland saying that he is very happy to be here at last :-) Wonderfulllll!
Tomorrow I'm going to get their autographs. Maybe I'll try to show Yukke my T-shirt - "Yukke's hair = The best hair" (in kanji) :D there were 2 japanese girls on the gig and they cracked up when they saw it x) I don't know, maybe it's too embarrasing for Yukke :relief:

Ah I just came home with their autographs :-) And I just say this day was awesome. There were hundreds of fans and MUCC was smiling and hugging people the whole time^^ I was there with my japanese friend and of course MUCC started to ask questions from her. Then she taught them how to say konnichiwa in finnish ("moi") :D Yukke started to use it right away.
I shook hands with everybody and got their autographs :cool: I don't get Tatsu's - it seems like a pair of eyes. Yukke is very artistic ^^

Although it is kind of funny because you can see that the photos are recent because of their new hair and earrings haha~
Save for the earrings, I would say Tatsurou looks exactly like he did in their super old photos <333

The live yesterday in berlin was sooooooooo damn cool! ^^ Tatsurou talked to us so much... and his german was very cute ^.^ Thinks like "very Dankeschön" were so damn cute ^^ and he said "Dies ist unser letzter Abend in Deutschland, helft uns, ihn unvergesslich zu machen" completly in german ><" it means: "This is our last evening here in germany. Please help us to make it unforgettable."
I could see everyone very well and they looked just so pretty :blush:

Got the Libra single and Psychedelic Analysis yesterday. Psychedelic Analysis is the entire Gokusai album played live in addition to a couple extra tracks: Kokoiro and... that one b-side from the Utagoe single. I can never remember the title... doushaburi... something. There's also another version of Rave Circus on there.

Geh I listened to Psychedelic Analysis today while doing the shopping and when Yasashii Uta came up I wanted to cry ;o; It brings the best memories ever.
Also! I've figured out a thing that was bothering me a lot. That instrumental thing they played when Tatsurou left the stage for a while - Rave Circus 2 -. That melody Miya played, I knew I heard it before. And now I know~! It's almost completely copied off Vidoll's Agoraphobia X3 Personally I don't mind because I like both songs so it's cool (especially that in Agoraphobia I swear I can hear 'Astarise~~' in the beginning of each chorus haha^^;)
Ha! I think the similarities in songs is just a coincidence. I doubt Miya would rip off anything from Vidoll.

Touei is definitely one of my fav-songs from them :-) I think this new single is the best. Libra and Touei together. Perfect. I can easily listen to both of them at least 20 times in a row ^^

i am a pretty new MUCC fan, i guess, and i really like their harder stuff! i am not really so sure about their more jazz-y music, though. and libra is so good! one of my favorites now!!!:cool: thank you for the subs, {dark}!

I sort of regret choosing London over Paris now (even though London was superawesome and probably the best MUCC live I've been to) because they are in the PV ;o; Paris is always the most privilidged in Jrock, I keep saying. Ah well. Next time, I will make a right decision >3
Ohhh and I love Touei~ Even though the melody is kind of average, it has a nice feeling of warmth in it. And I swear Tatsurou's voice gets better and better witch each new song. It always amazes me that when I think he has reached perfection in his voice, he tops it in their next song ._.

Hello I am Mandy. I've been a lurker for quite some time now. I am a new MUCC fan, well new as in the past year or so. My fave song is Zetsubou. I am really glad people have started to translate some of the videos on youtube. But I wasn't surprised by the translations, they weren't far off from what I was thinking/feeling while listening to them. Just goes to prove that music is universal! :)

I saw them live not too long ago in London! Clips of our gig got in their latest PV ^-^
Everyone seems to pronounce their name differently and I'm sure the spelling doesn't actually help. They changed it to MUCK for their merch.

My friend had a bunch of people bail on him for the Jrock Revolution Festival coming up where MUCC will be playing at. He has extra tickets that he is trying to get off his hands so im trying to help him since he's sorta screwed over by his friends. He just wants to get rid of the tickets as soon as possible, he isnt looking to make a profit really. HES SELLING THEM AT NORMAL TICKET PRICE including the ticketmaster fees and shipping fees. He's not looking to make profit off of them and just want to get it off his hands.

My friend has a few extra Jrock Revolution tickets (All tickets are 2 day passes general admission floor, that means BOTH days of the festival) from people that bailed on him.
