I was accepted by a language school near Osaka, and I'll be attending it for a year and a half. Contrary to my expectations I'll be able to work part time with the visa I'll be on there. My friend went on an exchange to a university in Tokyo 2 years ago and did some part time work, and said that he found it very easy to find students to privately tutor english to for 3,000-4,000 yen per hour.

Would it be way too optimistic to imagine finding 20 hours worth of tutoring a week for around 2,500 yen per hour? Because in light of this new information I may be able to stay relatively out of debt.

Are there other options? Like could I get a part time job with an actual language school, and will they pay me that much? Haha another friend of mine worked at an irish pub, I don't know how much that payed but I imagine not so much haha, sounds fun though.

Thank you all very much for your help with my previous questions, and thank you for any help you can give me with this!! =)

cya all in the kansai!
