Hello, it’s been a while since anyone has posting anything in this thread, so I pick it up again.
I haven’t so much new stuff, but I’m wondering about something.
What are you thinking about fanfiction?
Are somebody interesting in some?
I have some god stories I want to share.
I think they are god and have wondering for a while to sharing them to you.
But if some body think fanfiction is stupid and don’t want me to post it, I don’t do it.
I don’t want to make any conflict.
I know somebody think fanfiction is bad, so I wanted to ask first.
So is anyone up to fanfiction or not?

Summary: In such a sexually-charged atmosphere as in the band, Nightmare, feelings are sure to develop. Love is one of those feelings-and yet, so is jealousy.
Notes: Just some things I thought I’d point out before I begin writing this. First of all, I’ve noticed that the members of Nightmare tend to speak to each other quite often without honorifics, so if I neglect honorifics in this story more than I usually do, that’s probably why. Also, as many of you may have noticed, Nightmare is quite legendary for their blatantly sexual conduct. That may come across here as well. XD

Ruka groaned groggily, turning over in his sleep. Something was disturbing his slumber, but he was only indirectly aware of what that thing was. There was a sensation tickling along his nerve endings, making his limbs tingle. A warm feeling was pooling in his belly; he shifted again, pleasure coursing through his veins for a brief second. Confused, the drummer forced his eyes open, despite his tiredness.
A mop of platinum blond hair was just beneath him, obscuring his vision further. But as he became more conscious of his surroundings, he began to realize that the tingling feeling was emanating from his groin; one long-fingered hand was caressing him there, making bolts of pleasure go through his body.
Ruka squirmed against the touch, groaning. “Ni~ya!” the drummer exclaimed in what was meant to be a scolding tone, but what, in reality, turned into a moan about halfway through. “Uhn-hentai! Can’t you at least wait until I’m awake to start molesting me?”
Ni~ya slid up the bed to lie next to his lover, his hand continuing its work on the drummer’s half-hard length. Ruka was still wearing a pair of boxers, which was troublesome to the bassist’s goal, but it didn’t deter him. He nibbled gently on the drummer’s ear as he whispered, “What’s the fun in that?” Ruka slid his arm around the other man, smiling gently.
“You know what? I’ve forgotten,” Ruka admitted, leaning up into the other man’s touch. Ni~ya laughed at the other man’s words, continuing to nibble on his ear while Ruka groaned in response. He pressed the heel of his hand more firmly into Ruka’s erection, causing the other man to tilt his head back and gasp. This bared Ruka’s neck for Ni~ya; the bassist quickly took advantage of this fact, moving from Ruka’s ear to his neck with fervor.
“That’s what I like to hear,” Ni~ya whispered in amusement, continuing with slightly more forceful movements of his hand. Ruka was groaning in frustration; the pressure through the fabric was not enough to bring any real satisfaction.
“Ni~ya!” Ruka bit out again, his voice slightly pleading this time. This time, Ni~ya’s response was a little giggle of amusement.
“You were the one chastising me for this a minute ago, and now you want more?” he asked, making his tone purposefully incredulous. Ruka whimpered.
“Please?” the drummer pleaded softly, tightening his arm around the other man. The bassist opened his mouth to respond, but instead of Ni~ya’s voice, a strange ringing sound emanated through the room suddenly, startling both men on the bed. Ni~ya’s hand stopped immediately as he realized that the ringing sound was the phone.
Ruka seemed to realize this at the exact same moment, cursing under his breath as he reached over the side of the bed, picking the phone up off the cradle. He tried to ignore his now-very-noticeable erection, placing the phone to his ear. “Moshi moshi?” he said, trying to keep the annoyance out of his tone. A very recognizable voice suddenly came over the line.
“Ohayou, Ruka-chan!” Yomi called into the phone, his amazingly versatile voice gaining its excited almost-squeakiness. He really was too hyper for such an early hour of the morning.
“What do you want, Yomi?” he demanded, sounding irritated despite his best efforts. The vocalist, however, seemed not to notice.
“Well, I know practice doesn’t start for an hour, but Hitsugi, Saki and I are here already, so we were just wondering where you and Ni~ya are,” Yomi explained. Ruka sighed, about to respond, when he suddenly felt fingers toying with the elastic of his boxers. He shot Ni~ya a warning look, letting him know that he should stop.
“I called Ni~ya’s house already, but he didn’t answer. I thought that you might know where he is.”
A hand suddenly slid beneath the fabric of his boxers, cupping his erection. Ruka hissed; Ni~ya’s fingers felt cold against the flushed skin. He smacked the bassist warningly on the arm. “He-ah-he’s-” Ruka began, his voice unsteady because of the continued contact to his aroused flesh. Rather than pull away, as Ruka had been indicating he should do, Ni~ya began stroking him beneath his boxers.
“Ruka-san, are you okay?” asked a concerned voice over the line. It was Hitsugi, which made Ruka incredibly nervous. It meant that Yomi was on speakerphone.
“I-uh-yeah, I’m fine,” Ruka assured the other man, who sounded completely caring, as usual. He smacked Ni~ya again, trying to make him stop. “Ni~ya is here, if you were looking for him, Yomi.”
“Real-ly?” The vocalist sounded very interested by that fact.
“Yes, really,” Ruka replied flatly, grabbing Ni~ya’s arm harshly. “Will you excuse me for a second?” he asked into the phone.
He could almost hear Yomi’s grin. “Oh, sure,” Yomi agreed exaggeratedly. “Take as long as you’d like.”
Ruka had no doubts that Yomi knew exactly what was going on, but he felt no need to affirm that fact. He covered the receiver with one hand, yanking at Ni~ya’s arm with the other. Ni~ya finally extricated his hand from Ruka’s pants, a pout making his pierced lip look even more attractive. Ruka glared at him. “Not until I’m off the phone. I’m serious.”
Ni~ya stuck his lower lip out just a little bit further, looking up at the drummer with big dark eyes. Ruka rolled his eyes, removing his hand from over the phone and returning to the conversation. “Sorry Yomi. I’m back,” Ruka apologized, giving the sheepish bassist a warning look.
The vocalist snickered. “It’s no problem,” he assured the other man mischievously.
“Shut up, Yomi,” Ruka grunted.
“What? I didn’t say anything!”
Ruka sighed. “It doesn’t matter. I know what you’re thinking, and-” Suddenly, Ni~ya rolled over and grabbed the elastic waistline of Ruka’s boxers, pulling on it roughly. As it came off, it brushed almost painfully over Ruka’s still-present erection; he hissed, but he had no time to recover from that before the bassist’s mouth covered his entire aching length.
Ruka immediately stuffed the side of his arm into his mouth, biting down hard to keep himself from crying out. Yet he couldn’t make himself try to get Ni~ya to stop now; the feeling of the warm wetness around his arousal was entirely too alluring. “Ruka-san? Are you sure you’re okay?” came Hitsugi’s voice from over the phone. This shocked Ruka out of the moment; he had entirely forgotten about Yomi and Hitsugi on the other end of the line.
He removed his arm from his mouth; there were now harsh bite marks on the skin from his own teeth. He clenched them together, trying to keep from responding to Ni~ya’s ministrations. “Yeah, sure. I-I’m great. We-we’ll s-see you at practice in an hour, all right?” he forced out from between his teeth.
“Are you sure you don’t need more than an hour?” Yomi teased in a sing-song tone.
“Goodbye Yomi,” Ruka forced out, hanging the phone up immediately. After a moment, he turned back to Ni~ya, who was still focused intently on his task. Ruka groaned, arching his back. “You…*******…bastard,” Ruka hissed, grasping Ni~ya by the back of his hair in an almost forceful manner. Ni~ya responded by sucking Ruka in deeper, taking him nearly to the root. Ruka groaned.
“I…hate…you,” he said, though they both knew that that wasn’t the truth. Ni~ya’s response, this time, was to bring his hand up to cup Ruka’s balls, fondling them along with the workings of his mouth. Ruka was groaning almost continually by that time, grasping Ni~ya’s hair even more tightly, to the point that it was almost painful. But Ni~ya didn’t complain; instead, he simply continued with his ministrations, working even more fervently.
A second later, Ni~ya took the other man’s length in as deeply as he could, and the feeling of the end of the bassist’s lip ring colliding with the skin at the base of his erection was too much for Ruka. He came suddenly, unexpectedly, thrusting up into the other man’s mouth and groaning loudly.
Though Ruka was surprised by his climax, it seemed that Ni~ya wasn’t; he was perfectly prepared for it and swallowed with practiced efficiency, not appearing in any sort of discomfort whatsoever. Ruka collapsed back against the bed after a few long moments, gasping and sweating.
After a few moments, Ni~ya finally pulled away. Ruka grabbed him by the back of the neck, pulling Ni~ya’s body up so that their lips could meet, kissing him deeply. He wound one arm around Ni~ya’s back, trailing his fingers through the hollow between the bassist’s shoulder blades as their tongues met. After a few long moments, they broke apart.
“You’re evil, you know that?” Ruka asked after a moment, eyeing the bassist playfully. Ni~ya simply smiled, leaning forward and placing another small peck on the drummer’s lips.
“I know. But that’s why you love me, ne?”

Yomi listened to the click as Ruka hung up the phone, cackling to himself. Hitsugi was sitting next to him at the table, looking confused, while Sakito sat across the room reading a book, glancing vaguely at him over the top of it. Hitsugi stared at Yomi, as if mere observation of the vocalist would quell his confusion.
“What’s so funny?” he asked na&iuml;vely. Yomi looked over at his friend, laughing even harder at the absolute bewilderment on the guitarist’s face. He fell off his chair, twitching on the ground from laughing so hard, tears streaming down his face. The situation hadn’t been quite so funny before Hitsugi had begun speaking; his mystification about the entire affair made it twice as hilarious.
The guitarist looked sheepish. “What?” he asked fearfully, pulling his knees up to his chest and hugging them. He looked down at Yomi, who was still laughing too hard to get up. Helplessly, Hitsugi looked over at Sakito. “Saki?”
Sakito glanced up again, his face softening at the look on Hitsugi’s face. “He’s amused by the fact that Ni~ya and Ruka were obviously engaged in some sort of sexual situation,” the other guitarist said flatly, unable to help being slightly amused by the realization dawning over Hitsugi’s features. A second later, Hitsugi blushed deeply, the redness made more obvious by the fact that since they weren’t performing that day, Hitsugi was not wearing makeup.
“Oh,” he said after a second, looking down in embarrassment. At this, Yomi only laughed harder.
Part two
Notes: Upon reading this over, I've begun to become desperately scared of the fact that this is starting to sound like a stereotypical "all JRockers are mindless dorks" fanfiction. I'd like to assure you all that that is not the case. It will start to become better next chapter. I promise.
“Yomi, get back here!” Ni~ya yelled at the top of his lungs, chasing the much shorter vocalist across their practice space. They had been practicing for a live they were doing the next day, but they had somehow gotten sidetracked and eventually given up after a shorter time than they had planned. Currently, the bassist was chasing Yomi across the room, trying to stop him long enough to get a hand up the rather short schoolgirl skirt he was wearing.
“No, hentai!” Yomi screamed back, putting all the power he had in his voice. He suddenly ducked behind Hitsugi, who had been standing in the corner and trying to avoid the commotion. “Hitsu-chan, protect me!” he begged, grabbing the back of the guitarist’s shirt and hiding his face behind him. Ni~ya stopped in front of Hitsugi, knowing that he now had Yomi trapped. As for Hitsugi, the man was just looking extremely uncomfortable and unsure of what to do.
The look on Ni~ya’s face at that moment could only be described as menacing. Not wanting to get in the middle of the others’ sexual banter, Hitsugi ducked away, dislodging Yomi’s hands from his back. “Bastard!” Yomi yelled in mock anger, getting ready to run again. However, Ni~ya was quicker than he had been, grabbing the vocalist around the middle and picking him up slightly off the ground, carrying him across the room. Ruka was sitting on the edge of the stage, giggling uncontrollably.
“Ruka-san!” Yomi whined, kicking his legs frantically. “Get your boyfriend off of me! Tell him to stop trying to stick his hands up my skirt!”
Ruka chucked again, covering his mouth with his long, delicate fingers. “Sorry, Yomi, but you’re on your own for this one,” Ruka said, though he didn’t sound slightly apologetic. “You were the one who interrupted us this morning. And not to mention-didn’t you say that you were going to throw that schoolgirl outfit in the back of your closet and never take it out again?”
Yomi pouted as Ni~ya sat on the stage next to Ruka, still clasping him tightly around the midsection. Once he sat down, Yomi started squirming against the touch, but it was futile; Ni~ya was stronger and larger than he was, and therefore had no trouble holding him down.
“I felt like wearing it, okay?” Yomi demanded after a moment, sounding defensive.
One of Ni~ya’s hands released Yomi, and the vocalist began struggling again, but found that he still couldn’t manage to free himself. He made a mental note to start working out more; that would inevitably help him to overcome his status in the band as Ruka and Ni~ya’s sexual object. It was all in good fun, of course; the couple enjoyed teasing him and as much as he squirmed and complained, he didn’t mind the attention overly much. That was, until they left him frustrated and annoyed.
“And I suppose you wore a thong too, didn’t you?” Ni~ya teased right into Yomi’s ear, beginning to snake his hand up Yomi’s leg. Yomi shivered, squirming more violently. A second later, his fingers ghosted over Yomi’s hip, feeling the thin strap of fabric there. “Ah-yes you did.”
Ni~ya’s fingers made their way down and across Yomi’s inner thigh next, dancing across his skin as if they were small legs, walking. Hitsugi still stood in the corner, looking like the whole situation was making him uncomfortable, and Sakito was casually smoking a cigarette on the couch, not actively participating in the conversation, as usual. Hitsugi made his way over to the other guitarist, thoroughly perturbed by the entire situation.
He slid onto the couch next to Sakito, blushing as he heard Yomi squeal, followed by Ni~ya’s laughter. Sakito glanced idly at the smaller man next to him, blowing a plume of smoke out his mouth but not speaking. That was the thing about being around Sakito; one found that they would often have to be the one to start a conversation; the only alternative was to inevitably sit in silence with the other man. People generally tended to think that Hitsugi was the quietest of Nightmare, but in fact, that wasn’t the case; Hitsugi was certainly the most easily embarrassed, but Sakito was undoubtedly the most reserved.
“Sakito?” Hitsugi asked after a moment, his voice soft. Sakito’s attention was clearly on the other man when he spoke, but he still didn’t respond verbally to Hitsugi’s summons. Hitsugi, however, took Sakito’s apparent attention as permission to speak and did so quietly. “Why do you think they’re always like that?”
Sakito blew another plume of smoke out of his mouth, careful to turn his head away from Hitsugi as he did so. After a moment, he spoke. “I think they made a bet on who could give Yomi an erection the most times or something,” Sakito replied, his voice matter-of-fact. Hitsugi’s eyes widened; he nearly fell off the couch in surprise.
Sakito watched with thinly-veiled amusement as Hitsugi’s mouth opened and closed like a fish several times, which looked twice as comical as it should have, due to the fact that Sakito had never seen a fish with so many lip piercings. Sakito couldn’t help but be endeared by Hitsugi’s obvious na&iuml;vet&eacute;; the other man often seemed so out-of-place in such an openly sexual atmosphere. The other three members were rather unabashed with their sexualities; Sakito and Hitsugi, however, were more conservative.
“Ohmygod,” Hitsugi gasped out under his breath, his face alternately turning red and then completely white.
At first, Sakito thought that Hitsugi was replying just to his comment, but a second later, he turned back to look at the other group. He saw that Ni~ya’s hand was now working purposefully beneath Yomi’s skirt, and the growing bulge there was difficult to ignore. Yomi was squirming more violently than ever, gasping out every few seconds as he did so. He then let out a sound that was a half-curse, half-moan. Sakito just rolled his eyes, taking another drag of his cigarette. And his bandmates called him a slut.
“Will somebody help me?” Yomi called out in a strangled tone. Ruka giggled again, clearly too amused by his boyfriend’s conduct with the small vocalist to do anything about it. Yomi looked pleadingly at Sakito and Hitsugi.
Sakito simply stubbed out his cigarette, standing up and grabbing his coat. “I’m staying far away from this one,” he mumbled, heading for the door. “I’m going home. See you guys before the live tomorrow.”
Ruka and Ni~ya called out jovial goodbyes and watched Sakito disappear before Ni~ya finally let Yomi go. The vocalist fell limp in his lap, and rather than trying to get off, he lolled his head back onto Ni~ya’s shoulder. “Ni~ya! You’re mean! Look what you did!” Yomi complained, causing all three other men to look down at Yomi’s crotch, where there was a rather prominent bulge. Hitsugi turned away, blushing and burying his face in his hands.
Ni~ya gave the vocalist a devilish smile. “Yep!” he said, voice dripping with amusement. “See you later, Yomi!”
He stood up, dumping the small vocalist onto the stage and making his way toward the door, grabbing Ruka by the hand as he did so. Hitsugi heard the sound of the door closing heavily behind them; he knew that Ruka and Ni~ya had left, but he refused to look up to see what was going on. Yomi let out a frustrated whimper.
“Goddamnit,” he cursed to himself. There was silence for a second, rustling, and then suddenly, “Hitsugi?”
Hitsugi looked up purely out of reflex, and he instantly regretted it. Yomi was lying across the front of the stage, head propped up on one elbow. Hitsugi made a deliberate attempt to keep his eyes off the other man’s lower half, but he could still see Yomi’s slightly flushed cheeks. He silently cursed Ruka and Ni~ya in his mind, then cursed himself for letting his thoughts go awry at the sight of a clearly aroused Yomi.
“What?” Hitsugi inquired, but his voice came out as no more than a strangled squeak.
Yomi looked helpless. “Help me think about something…un-arousing,” he begged quietly. “I can’t think of anything.”
Hitsugi tried to keep himself from blushing any more deeply, looking down at his hands in his lap and biting absently on one of his lip rings. “Oh! I-erm-” Hitsugi mumbled, thinking. Then, unexpectedly, he said the first thing that came to his mind. “Mana shaving his legs!”
Yomi’s face went quickly from surprise to confusion before finally settling on disgust. “I-ew!” Yomi exclaimed, the mental image clearly going through his mind. “My God, Hitsugi, where the hell did that come from?”
Despite his best attempts to stop it, Hitsugi’s face turned deep crimson. “I-well-I don’t know,” he admitted in embarrassment. “It was the first thing that I thought of. Shut up.”
Yomi giggled. “All right. If you say so,” he replied. He glanced down at his body, smile growing wider. “Well whatever made you think of that, it worked. Thanks.”
Hitsugi couldn’t even meet the other man’s gaze. “Oh…um…you’re welcome.”
Yomi laughed, and seconds later, Hitsugi felt movement of the cushion next to him. It didn’t take more than a moment for him to realize that the vocalist had sat down next to him; Hitsugi tried desperately to control the rampant flush that had overtaken his pale skin. When he felt Yomi’s hand on his shoulder, he jumped nearly a foot in the air, so tense and wound up he had become.
“Sorry,” Yomi apologized, immediately, withdrawing his hand. “I know stuff like that makes you uncomfortable.” There was a moment of silence before Hitsugi spoke.
“It’s okay. I know it’s just the way you guys are.”
Yomi shook his head. “Still, they don’t have to be so crazy about it,” he replied, dismissing Hitsugi’s words. “So do you want to come over tonight?”
Hitsugi only contemplated the words for a moment before he shook his head. “I shouldn’t leave the cats alone for too long,” he replied without hesitation. Yomi’s face fell, and he sighed; he knew he should have expected the answer; Hitsugi was almost covetous of his cats. Hitsugi seemed confused for a second before he spoke again.
“Oh! But you can come over to my house if you want,” Hitsugi proposed, ashamed that he hadn’t suggested the idea sooner. Yomi’s crestfallen look immediately changed to a smile, which made Hitsugi smile as well; he couldn’t stand to see the vocalist sad.
“All right. But I don’t want to wake up with a cat on my face again,” Yomi warned, giving Hitsugi a mockingly angry look. Hitsugi blushed again.

Yomi sat back on Hitsugi’s sofa, a can of soda in each of his hands. He set one down next to the guitarist before popping the other open for himself, taking a small sip as the other man thanked him. Yomi watched Hitsugi with a smile as the guitarist sat back against the couch, a cat on his lap. He was stroking the small creature behind its ears, the animal purring happily.
These were the times when Yomi loved sitting with the other man, watching him. Hitsugi thought of his cats almost like children; he loved them and coveted them, and he always seemed most at ease with a cat in his arms, purring for him. Yomi wouldn’t admit it to the other man, lest it cause a rather extreme blushing fit, but he found the scene in front of him completely adorable; he always had the distinct urge, when he sat with Hitsugi like this, to take a picture, but he’d not yet done so.
Hitsugi seemed to notice the vocalist’s eyes on him, because he shifted a bit on the cushion, seeming uncomfortable. “What is it?” he asked, appearing wary and confused. Yomi just shook his head dismissively.
“Nothing,” Yomi dismissed immediately, leaning back against the arm of the couch and taking another sip of his soda. He knew that it was a bad idea to drink it; the caffeine would inevitably make him hyperactive and unable to sleep, and they did have a live the next day. Yet still, Yomi continued drinking it, though Hitsugi’s stayed on the table, ignored.
Hitsugi didn’t look as if he accepted Yomi’s answer, but he didn’t press it anyway, moving his hands from the feline’s ears and sliding them instead down its long, slinky back. The cat arched its back a bit each time Hitsugi’s hand trailed over it, continuing to purr contentedly.
“So, are you ready for tomorrow’s performance?” Hitsugi asked instead, eyes trailing over to Yomi while he continued to pet the animal in his lap. Yomi just shrugged, pulling his legs up onto the couch and sitting cross-legged against the arm.
“I’m always ready for a performance,” he said idly. “I could perform all day and night if it weren’t so tiring.”
Hitsugi laughed, the sound tinkling through the air alluringly. Hitsugi’s laugh was quiet and gentle, just like him; it was so incongruous with Yomi’s own boisterous laugh and those of the other band members. They all laughed with an inordinate amount of force behind it, while Hitsugi, conversely, laughed delicately and softly.
“I don’t doubt that,” Hitsugi told him with a smile, and Yomi hit him playfully on the arm. This dislodged the cat in the younger man’s lap slightly; its fur bristled, and it looked up at Yomi with something akin to annoyance in its eyes. It possessed that special ability cats have to always look superior, always look as if humans were their servants.
That quality in cats reminded Yomi so much of Sakito sometimes, but that gentler, sweeter quality cats have when you treat them well reminded him instead of Hitsugi. Much like a cat’s seeming abrasiveness, Hitsugi’s appearance could make people think he was cold, or even cruel. But also like a cat, when cared for and loved, Hitsugi was the sweetest, most wonderful person Yomi had ever met. Yomi had always wondered if that similarity was why the guitarist liked cats, or whether it was some unidentifiable coincidence.
“Sorry,” Yomi apologized to the obstinate feline, not thinking it odd at all that he was asking for the forgiveness of a cat. Hitsugi’s pets were almost an extension of him, like family, and Yomi felt no embarrassment or strangeness in it.
Hitsugi laughed, not because he found it strange either, but more because Yomi was the only person who would act so. Ruka and Ni~ya, though not cat lovers like Hitsugi, liked the animals but only to a point. Sakito would never give such words to a cat; in much the way that two superior beings often clashed about who was better, Sakito only tolerated cats when he absolutely had to.
“Don’t worry; she forgives you,” Hitsugi teased with a smile, petting the cat again so that it rolled over and gave him access to its stomach. Hitsugi’s nails scratched nimbly across the lightly furred flesh as he shifted subtly to make his legs more comfortable. Seconds later, he let out a long yawn, covering his mouth and blinking repeatedly. Yomi smiled, feeling endeared toward the guitarist.
“Sleepy?” Yomi taunted gently. Hitsugi laughed, shaking his head in amusement.
“Maybe a little,” he admitted, though another wide yawn revealed that he was under-exaggerating more than slightly. Yomi gave him a pointed look. “All right, yes. But I’m too lazy to go to bed.”
Yomi laughed at his friend’s rare admittance; to most people, Hitsugi wouldn’t say such things; in crowds, he was often too embarrassed, and otherwise, he was often just too afraid to be entirely truthful. Yet he and Yomi had known each other long enough and had become good enough friends that it wasn’t an issue between them.
“It doesn’t matter,” Yomi said, sliding his arm suddenly around Hitsugi’s back and easing his body downward into a laying position, careful to do it slowly enough that it would not upset the animal in Hitsugi’s lap. He laid the guitarist’s head in his own lap, knowing that Hitsugi wouldn’t object to it. As he had expected, Hitsugi just sighed contentedly, flexing his shoulder blades in a rather catlike manner himself as he settled himself comfortably upon the vocalist’s crossed legs.
“There,” Yomi proclaimed, feeling accomplished. “Now you can just go to bed right here. What do you think?”
“I think I’m going to put your legs to sleep,” Hitsugi admitted, looking sheepish. Yomi just shook his head.
“Nonsense. Just relax.”
Hitsugi, in fact, did just that, letting his eyes fall closed. Yomi watched the man for a few delicate moments, glancing down at his reddish-brown hair and feeling an inexplicable urge to pet it, just the way Hitsugi was still idly petting the cat in his lap, which Yomi could tell was also in a state of half-sleep. Yomi couldn’t help but feel reverence toward the other man; he looked so peaceful, his features so relaxed and unabashedly adorable. But again, Yomi wasn’t about to tell the other man that; Hitsugi didn’t take compliments well.
After a few long moments, Yomi finally gave in, reaching his small hand out and brushing Hitsugi’s choppy locks out of his eyes gently. Hitsugi opened his eyes suddenly, surprised by the touch, but Yomi just gave him a reassuring smile. “Just go to sleep,” he urged the tired man.
Hitsugi smiled and didn’t object to Yomi’s gentle touches, so Yomi took that as permission to continue. Hitsugi’s eyes fell closed again and Yomi’s touches became bolder, running his fingers softly through strands of dyed hair, surprised at how soft it was. Their stylists spend so much time trying to make their hair look choppy and full that Yomi almost forgot how velvety the guitarist’s hair really was, despite all the color treatment it had gone through over the years.
Yomi could feel Hitsugi’s muscles relaxing slowly as he continued to stroke the guitarist’s hair; the slight tension that had been in his shoulders began to melt away, and his body fell more fluidly against Yomi’s legs. His breathing was slowing, and his hand, still atop his cat’s fur, was slowing also; Yomi could tell that the small animal was already asleep, and it seemed that Hitsugi, himself, was minutes from it.
Finally, Hitsugi’s breathing fell into a slow evenness, and Yomi smiled at the infinitely innocent man lying partially atop him. Being around Hitsugi had always felt so refreshing; he was barely younger than Yomi himself, but he exuded a strange purity that Yomi had felt he had never had. Something about it made Hitsugi seem so much younger, something that should be protected and coveted at all costs. The guitarist was a treasure well sought for; he was one so untouched by the world that he hadn’t become jaded or cold or pessimistic, like so many things could have made him. It almost made Yomi feel the same way, as if through osmosis he could somehow pick up the guitarist’s more flattering traits.
After a few minutes, he was satisfied that Hitsugi was asleep, and he pulled his hand away, flexing his fingers to get rid of the tension. Immediately afterward, Hitsugi shifted, and he mumbled something barely audible, such that Yomi had to strain to hear it. “Mm…don’t stop.”
Yomi wasn’t sure if Hitsugi was in fact still asleep; and if he was awake, the vocalist was unsure of how lucid he was. But the request had been plain and clear; he hadn’t wanted to lose Yomi’s touch. Unable to deny the other man what he wanted when his voice, his request was so soft and gentle, Yomi reached his hand out again and began softly petting Hitsugi’s hair, smiling when a small, contented groan rumbled from deep in Hitsugi’s throat. It sounded almost like a purr in itself, and the guitarist shifted, his movements strangely fluid laced with felinity.
Feeling a strange sense of calm, Yomi leaned forward at a very uncomfortable angle to place a small kiss on Hitsugi’s forehead. “You’re so adorable-so beautiful,” Yomi whispered, confessing the words he didn’t dare say to the guitarist when he was awake. He could tell that Hitsugi was truly asleep this time; there was no telltale blush staining his cheeks at the compliment.

Kei= Ex-baroque guitarist, who is supposedly friends with Ruka. Let your imagination run with it.

Yomi sat on one of the makeup tables next to where Hitsugi was sitting, watching as one of the makeup people applied Hitsugi’s with mild interest. He’d seen Hitsugi’s makeup applied dozens of times, but it was always a bit interesting; he was usually the only one who required someone to actually do his makeup for him, since his was the most complicated to apply.
Yomi had finished getting ready almost fifteen minutes before; his outfit, while it had many layers, was not difficult to put on, nor did his makeup take long to do. He wasn’t quite as anal about his makeup as some of the other band members; Sakito had applied and reapplied the line under his eyes nearly a dozen times, continually saying that it was too thick.
Ruka didn’t seem satisfied with his either, opening and closing his eyes continually to make sure that it was perfect. Ruka was always the one who got nervous before lives, no matter how many of them they did; he had gotten better with it over time, but the other band members could see the little tremor of his hand, which was what made putting on his makeup so difficult.
The only other person who seemed to not be bothered by his look as much was Ni~ya. It had always been a trait that Ni~ya had; he felt that if he didn’t do something right the first time, he often wouldn’t be able to do it right at all. He wasn’t as much of a perfectionist as the others, and understandably so; he always seemed to look pretty. Yet still, the same should have applied to Sakito, who seemed to have the most universal appeal of their female fans, but Sakito was a different case entirely.
Ni~ya, instead, was also sitting on top of the counter, leaning against the long mirror and smoking a cigarette. Yomi had a feeling that normally, people got chastised for that sort of thing, but no one seemed to be telling Yomi or Ni~ya to stop or get down, even though crew members were running in and out of the room every minute.
Ni~ya’s attention, however, was clearly on his lover. Yomi wouldn’t be surprised if in a few minutes’ time, Ni~ya was with his lover, putting his arms around the other man and whispering soothing things to him. Yomi always would have thought, considering his temperament, that Hitsugi would be the one to get nervous before performances, but the guitarist had always been perfectly calm. Yet despite Ruka’s knowledge that everything would go all right, that it nearly always did, he could never stop that tiny, almost unnoticeable tremor before live performances. It would only be after having performed a song or two that his tremor would disappear, Yomi knew, and Ruka would give a flawless performance.
Once Sakito had pulled his eyeliner pencil away from his eye to get something with which to wipe it off yet again, Yomi leaned over, smacking him on the back of the head. “It looks fine, Saki,” he insisted, grabbing the eyeliner pencil and putting the cap back on, placing it out of the guitarist’s reach. “Stop obsessing.”
Sakito just glared at him, leaning back in his chair and pulling out his own pack of cigarettes before lighting one up. Yomi glared right back, scooting away. Being around Ruka and Ni~ya was bad enough, considering how much they collectively smoked, but Sakito usually didn’t tend to do it as much. Hitsugi would rarely even smoke at all, and took care especially to not do it around Yomi, who was a nonsmoker. That was one of the reasons that Yomi preferred to spend more time with Hitsugi than the others, though not being treated like a sexual object was also somewhere near the top of the list. He didn’t mind the sexual banter of the group, of course, but he couldn’t imagine having to put up with it all the time.
“Satoru-san,” someone suddenly said, pulling Yomi out of his reverie. He looked over to Ruka, to see that there was a crew member standing next to him, holding out a bouquet of flowers. “These are for you.”
Ruka’s face lit up immediately upon seeing the bouquet of flowers. He took them from the other man gingerly, thanking him with a small bow, though he was still sitting. There was a card attached to the bouquet; Yomi watched both Ruka and Ni~ya as the drummer reached for it. Ni~ya looked vaguely disgruntled, pulling another cigarette out of his pack and lighting it. Ni~ya normally smoked a lot, but the easiest way to tell when he was upset was when he started chain-smoking.
“Is it from Kei-san?” Hitsugi asked suddenly, taking Yomi by surprise. It seemed that the guitarist’s makeup was done, because he was sitting there in full costume, smiling gently. Ruka slid the card out of its small envelope, unable to keep the grin off his face.
“I don’t know,” he confessed, though he seemed unable to contain his glee. Ruka and Kei had long ago started sending each other flowers before lives, partially as a joke and partially because Kei knew how nervous Ruka tended to get before them. Yet since the breakup of Kei’s band, the flowers had come less and less frequently, so Ruka had begun to think of them as some sort of rare treat.
He opened the card and his grin widened as he read it. “It’s from Kei,” he confirmed after a long moment, taking a few minutes after that to observe the flowers more closely. They were beautiful and colorful, just the way Ruka liked them.
Ruka leaned forward and sniffed them gently, and Yomi watched as Ni~ya lit up a third cigarette. He could just sense trouble brewing, and he wished he didn’t; the fact that Kei sent Ruka flowers always seemed to have made Ni~ya a little uncomfortable, but he had never noticeably let it on. Ruka had guessed that he was upset more than once, but never had he been able to determine the cause of his lover’s distress, which surprised Yomi. Usually, Ruka was more intuitive than that.
A crew member ducked his head into the room. “You’re onstage in five,” he informed them quickly before ducking back out, clearly ready to run around again to make sure everything was set up properly. Yomi sighed, sliding off the edge of the table and searching for his shoes; he preferred to go barefoot whenever he could, but he knew that his costume really did require shoes. He glanced around the floor, not finding them. The vocalist sidled up next to Ni~ya.
“Ni~ya, have you seen my shoes?” Yomi asked, giving the other man a pleading look. Ni~ya just remained silent, blowing smoke from between his lips. Yomi huffed angrily. “Fine, I’ll ask someone else.”
“They’re over here, Yomi,” Ruka offered, holding up a pair of shoes. Yomi smiled gratefully, running across the room and grabbing the shoes.
“Thanks Ruka!” Yomi said, grinning as he sat on the floor to put them on. Then, he gave Ni~ya a pointed look. “See, some people are nice!” he yelled at the bassist, but he still got no response. Yomi tried not to be discouraged, but he sensed that there would be some sort altercation between Ni~ya and someone that night, and chances were that it would be Ruka.
“Whatever, Yomi,” Ni~ya grumbled, sliding off the counter, sliding a hand through his dyed locks. “I’m going to stand by the stage.” And with that, Ni~ya disappeared around the corner, though the other members could clearly hear someone yelling after him about how he would mess up his hair. Sakito watched his departure with thinly-veiled interest; he clearly could sense what was wrong as well.
Ruka sighed. “I don’t know why he gets like that,” Ruka said softly, though whether it was meant to explain or excuse his lover’s actions, none of them were sure. The drummer stood. “I’ll go talk to him.”
Sakito grabbed Ruka’s arm quite suddenly that it was completely unexpected. “Don’t,” he said simply, his tone holding a deep warning in it. Ruka looked at the guitarist incredulously.
“You want me to let him go out on stage all pissed off like that?” Ruka demanded, clearly beginning to get worked up himself by that point. He tried to pull away from Sakito, but the guitarist refused to let go of his arm.
“If you go talk to him now, you guys will just end up fighting,” Sakito said, with a certainty and wisdom he rarely displayed to others. Ruka often forgot how observant and thoughtful Sakito was, through all his silences; he noticed everything that was going on, even if he didn’t say it out loud. “We have three minutes until we go onstage, and you won’t have time to resolve it. Then he’ll go out on stage even more upset, and he’ll mess up—so will you. He can blow off some steam at the live—then you can talk to him.”
Sakito’s voice was authoritative, which was strange, but in any event, the words held this bizarre, hypnotic power that Ruka felt hard-pressed not to ignore. He sighed, relaxing his arm, and Sakito finally let it go, sensing that Ruka wouldn’t go after his lover.
“Yeah, you’re probably right,” he admitted with a sigh. “But we do have to go by the stage before the concert starts, so I suggest we do so.”
“Two minutes!” one of the crew members yelled, and the remaining members of Nightmare all got up quickly, making their way out of the back room. The one good thing about Ni~ya’s little outburst was that it seemed to make Ruka forget about his nervousness. Unfortunately, Yomi doubted that anything else good would come of it that night.
Part 5
Ruka followed a still-angry Ni~ya offstage at the end of the show, feeling helpless. The others trailed a few feet behind the couple, trying to give them their space as Ni~ya stormed off, Ruka in tow. Ni~ya stopped when they reached one of the dressing rooms, wheeling around on Ruka.
“Why the hell are you following me like that?” the bassist demanded, his voice coming out as nearly a hiss. Despite his better judgment, Ni~ya’s tone made Ruka a little angry himself.
“Maybe because I love you want I want to know what’s bothering you!” Ruka yelled, feeling his anger boiling. Ruka stopped suddenly as he glanced over at the door, seeing Hitsugi standing there, looking incredibly uncomfortable. The guitarist shifted uneasily in the doorway.
“Sorry,” Hitsugi apologized quickly. “I have to—my pants.” He motioned across the room, where his pants were lying folded on a chair. Feeling the tension in the room, he scrambled across the space quickly, going to grab the pair of pants from the chair. He scrambled out just as quickly, but the quick pause had given Ruka time to calm himself.
He and Ni~ya had gotten into their share of yelling contests, and they’d never ended well. He took a few long, deep breaths as he watched Hitsugi leave, trying to keep himself from yelling again. Once Hitsugi had left the room, he felt himself significantly less worked up, but looking at Ni~ya, he wasn’t sure the other man felt the same. Ruka sighed.
“Look—let’s just not yell at each other, okay?” Ruka begged, his voice sounding as tired and dejected as he felt. At his tone, Ni~ya’s anger seemed to deflate a little as well, and he sat down in a chair, burying his head in his hands. He rubbed his temples gently, sighing.
“Sorry,” he mumbled into his hands, his voice muffled. Feeling slightly endeared toward the other man, Ruka squatted down in front of him, sliding his hand around Ni~ya’s to cup the bassist’s cheek. Ni~ya raised his eyes after a moment, looking deeply into Ruka’s own dark orbs.
“You don’t have to apologize,” Ruka excused gently, “but I’d like it if you’d tell me what’s bothering you.”
Ni~ya’s gaze darkened immediately, and he turned his eyes away from Ruka’s, face flushing. “I—it’s stupid,” Ni~ya excused, looking flustered and embarrassed. Ruka waited patiently for a few seconds for Ni~ya to elaborate, but when he didn’t, Ruka stroked the other man’s cheek gently.
“Tell me,” Ruka commanded softly, his voice urging but not forceful. Ni~ya shifted uncomfortably, refusing to meet Ruka’s gaze. He took a deep breath.
“It—it’s about Kei,” he forced out finally. Ruka’s eyes widened.
“Kei?” he echoed disbelievingly. “What about him?”
Ni~ya looked even more ill at ease. “Wouldn’t it bug you if some other guy were sending your boyfriend flowers?” Ni~ya asked, his tone nearly emotionless. It took a minute for Ni~ya’s words to hit him, but after they did, Ruka sighed, smiling gently.
“Ni~ya, look at me,” Ruka ordered, sliding his hand beneath the bassist’s chin to lift his head. Reluctantly, Ni~ya did so, meeting his lover’s eyes. Ni~ya’s dark eyes were so filled with sadness and anguish that it nearly made Ruka’s heart break. The drummer looked right at Ni~ya, trying to express everything he felt through his own eyes.
“Kei is a friend,” Ruka said, putting emphasis on the last word. “Nothing more. He’s young, he’s fun, and I enjoy his company. But I love you, and that’s never changed. I love being with you, I love your perverted little jokes, and I even love that wacky little nickname you have for your penis.”
Ni~ya blushed at that, averting his eyes with a nervous laugh. Ruka’s smile widened, glad that he could make his lover laugh. “Kei and I send each other flowers because we’re huge dorks—no other reason. There’s nothing more to it. Okay?” Ruka asked, looking intently at Ni~ya for the other man’s reaction. After a long moment, Ni~ya nodded.
“Sorry,” he apologized again, his voice soft. “I guess I’m just a little—”
“Possessive?” Ruka cut in with a raised eyebrow. Ni~ya mock-glared at him. “It’s all right for you to be a little possessive. After all, I am yours; never forget that. Now come here and kiss me.”
Ni~ya smiled widely, leaning forward and catching his lover’s lips with his own.

Hitsugi returned from fetching his pants back into the room the others had decided to change in, in an attempt to avoid Ruka and Ni~ya’s fighting. Yomi was already half-changed—the first thing he’d done was remove his shoes, swearing at the next live, he wasn’t wearing any. He had on his regular pants, but still had his shirt and makeup from the concert. Sakito was already in street clothes; a pair of jeans and a t-shirt that just barely covered his flat stomach, riding up a little each time he moved.
Upon seeing Hitsugi enter, Yomi looked up, appearing eager. “Well?” he demanded. “What are Ruka and Ni~ya doing?”
Sakito shook his head at Yomi’s nosy manner but kept his mouth shut about it, eyes flickering briefly over at the other guitarist. Hitsugi shrugged. “They were yelling at each other. I didn’t stick around to hear very much, but they both seemed pretty angry,” he explained before starting to remove his own costume. Yomi looked nervous.
“I say we change and get out of here sooner rather than later, then,” he suggested. “Hurry up and change, Hitsu-chan.”
Suddenly, Sakito slid out of his chair, leaving the room wordlessly. Yomi glanced over at Hitsugi with a raised eyebrow, knowing that Hitsugi was much closer to Sakito than he was—than indeed any of the other band members were. It seemed, sometimes, that Hitsugi was the only one out of all of them who ever really understood Sakito’s behavior. “What’s with him?” Yomi asked as he changed his shirt. Hitsugi looked thoughtful for a second.
“You know how much Sakito hates conflict,” Hitsugi replied after a moment, beginning to change his clothing as well. “It’s been getting him agitated. He’s smoking—he shouldn’t be.”
Yomi pulled his new shirt on, frowning. “Come to think of it, Saki’s been acting kind of strange lately,” Yomi commented. “Quieter, kind of, if that’s possible. And weirdly enough, his whole wardrobe seems to have changed. He’s showing less skin.”
Hitsugi rolled his eyes at the vocalist. “Maybe because he’s tired of you three calling him a slut,” he suggested dryly. The tone was rather out-of-character for the shy guitarist, but he had always felt as if Sakito needed to be defended sometimes; he found it difficult to really get close to anyone, but Hitsugi was one of the only people who had managed it, and it gave Hitsugi a certain sense of duty.
Yomi stopped where he was, looking intently at Hitsugi. “That doesn’t really bother him, does it?” Yomi asked worriedly after a moment. “If I thought it did, I’d tell the others to stop. We know Sakito doesn’t really sleep around; we’re just teasing him because all the girls seem to like him so much.”
Hitsugi shrugged again. “You’d have to ask Sakito about that, but I can’t guarantee he’d give you a straight answer.”
Yomi fell silent for a moment, looking contemplative. Finally, he looked back at Hitsugi, seeming a little guilty. “You don’t think we contributed to whatever’s bothering Saki, do you?” he inquired. Hitsugi stopped as well, looking over at his friend.
“Well it certainly doesn’t help. It just reminds him of the fact that he doesn’t have anyone…you know…like that. Romantically, sexually,” Hitsugi said, blushing softly. “I think he’s lonely.”
Yomi bit his lip, remaining silent as they finished changing.

Sakito strode out of the building determinedly, making sure to carefully avoid the room in which he knew Ni~ya and Ruka were. He didn’t hear any yelling as he was in the area, but he didn’t want to stick around to see if he could catch any, so he walked past quickly, trying his best to ignore his surroundings.
He stepped out of the building into the cool night air, taking a deep breath and filling his lungs with the fresh air—or as fresh as it ever got in the city, anyway. It was at least better than the cramped, stuffy feeling of the air inside, especially during the show.
“Sakito-san!” someone suddenly yelled, making the guitarist turn around abruptly, startled. He was surprised when he spotted a familiar, dark-haired man running over to him, looking a bit out of breath.
“Kei-san. Hello,” Sakito said softly as the younger man reached him. Kei smiled brightly at him.
“Hey. I saw you guys perform. You were really good,” he remarked, that same smile never leaving his features. Sakito found himself giving a tiny smile back to the other man.
“Thanks,” he said with a slight blush. He had never been good at receiving compliments, though he was nowhere near as bad as Hitsugi.
“No problem. Hey—did Ruka-kun get my flowers?”
The reminder of Ruka and Ni~ya suddenly turned Sakito somber. He wasn’t so thick as Ruka; he knew exactly what was bothering Ni~ya, and he knew that it was directly connected to those flowers. He sighed deeply. “Yes, he got them,” he answered flatly.
“Well, can you tell me where he is? I’d like to go say hi,” the other man told him, sounding wary of and confused by Sakito’s solemn tone.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea,” Sakito warned. “Just trust me on this one, Kei-san. You don’t want to go in there.”
Kei raised an eyebrow but didn’t speak. Sakito took another deep breath before speaking again. “But since you came all the way out here, why don’t we go out for a drink?” he suggested after a moment, sounding a bit nervous. “My treat.”
Kei’s smile returned. “I’d like that,” he agreed.

Yomi stood behind Hitsugi as he waited for his friend to unlock the door to his apartment, feeling tired but accomplished after the night’s performance. He watched the guitarist as he fumbled with the keys, seeing that he, too, looked to be feeling the strain of the night’s activities. Still, the gentle smile covering his lips showed that he, too, was pleased with their performance.

Hitsugi had to shift through his keys before finding the correct one, sliding it into the lock to allow them into the apartment. He held the door for Yomi to grab before walking inside, making his way to the kitchen and placing his keys atop the counter with a loud clink. He glanced over his shoulder at the vocalist, who was closing the door behind him.

“You want anything to eat or to drink?” he inquired as he made his way to the fridge.

“Water’s fine,” Yomi told him.

Hitsugi grabbed two bottles of water—because in a profession such as theirs, it was always prudent to have a few water bottles handy at all times—and made his way back to Yomi, handing the other man one. Yomi smiled and nodded this thanks before opening the bottle and taking a long sip. After he had swallowed, he regarded Hitsugi thoughtfully.

“So…what do you want to do?” Yomi asked, glancing around the apartment. One of the cats was already walking around the floor, winding itself in and out of Hitsugi’s legs. The guitarist shrugged.

“I don’t know. I’m kind of tired. I was thinking of sleeping,” Hitsugi admitted, looking a bit sheepish. Yomi just laughed.

“Well we can, you know. This is your apartment.”

Hitsugi chuckled uneasily. “Yeah, but I did invite you over,” he conceded. “I don’t want to be a bad host.”

Yomi smiled, clapping a hand against Hitsugi’s back. “Nonsense,” he dismissed, subtly beginning to lead the other man toward his bedroom. “If you’re tired, you should go to sleep. I won’t be angry with you for being human.”

Hitsugi smiled, before yawning widely. “Thanks, Yomi. You’re a great friend,” Hitsugi said as they walked into his bedroom. A few feet from his bed, Hitsugi stopped, shuffling his feet nervously as he turned to face Yomi. He was blushing furiously, more pronouncedly than even usual embarrassment typically made him.

“Erm…Yomi…can I ask you a favor?” Hitsugi asked, his voice a little shaky. Yomi looked at his friend, recognizing the obvious signs of nervousness that his friend was giving off, before nodding gently.

“Of course. You can always ask me anything,” Yomi said, adding the second part as a way to, hopefully, make Hitsugi more comfortable. He still didn’t understand, after having known Hitsugi so long, how the other man could still be made so nervous around him, could still be afraid to speak his mind most of the time.

Hitsugi’s flush deepened and his eyes dropped to the ground. “Could you…uh…” Hitsugi trailed off, voice quiet. “Could you stay with me and stroke my hair again? It helped me fall asleep.”

Yomi grinned widely. “Yes,” he replied, without hesitation. “You don’t have to be nervous to ask me anything, Hitsu-chan. You’re my best friend.”

Hitsugi looked rather embarrassed, still, by the declaration, but there was a gentle smile on his lips. “Thanks,” he whispered, before glancing over at the bed again. He looked uneasy, as if unsure what his next move should be. Yomi smiled.

“Change for bed or whatever you need to do, and just wait for me. I need to go to the bathroom first,” Yomi said, trying to afford the other man a moment in which he didn’t feel he was under the vocalist’s scrutiny. Hitsugi nodded and Yomi walked out of the room and to the bathroom.

While he was gone, Hitsugi changed into something more comfortable to sleep in—a pair of drawstring pants and a t-shirt—and slid under the covers of the bed. He laid there for a second, waiting for Yomi to get back.

When Yomi did re-enter the room, he walked over to the other side of the bed and slid under the covers without hesitation, wanting to prove to his friend that he didn’t find any awkwardness in the request. Hitsugi looked a bit calmer, which bolstered Yomi’s spirits a little. He turned on his side, propping his head up on one elbow and reaching over to Hitsugi, running his hand gently through the threads of his hair. Hitsugi relaxed immediately into the touch, letting his eyes fall closed.

There was still some product in Hitsugi’s hair from the show earlier, though the guitarist had managed to get rid of most of it. Yomi worked with his fingers to get the rest of it out, sliding the digits through locks of hair to separate the ones that still had a bit of gel in them. It didn’t take long before Hitsugi started making that familiar purring sound, that familiar exhalation of relaxation and contentment. Yomi couldn’t seem to banish the gentle smile from his lips as Hitsugi leaned into his touch, tilting his head just the way he wanted to be touched, catlike again.

Yomi couldn’t bring himself to stop watching the other man; Hitsugi, completely at ease, was an entrancing sight. The tiny purring sound that the other man made Yomi’s heart ache, but in absolute love and endearment rather than sadness. He tried to ignore the way that same sound went straight to his groin, was immeasurably erotic and beautiful in the way that Hitsugi would never have realized.

Yomi’s fingers brushed along the back of Hitsugi’s neck, and the guitarist suddenly arched into the hand slightly, the sound he was making in the back of his throat changing pitch marginally. Yomi repeated the movement, with a certain scientific interest as well as a personal one, to gain the same reaction. Grinning to himself, he began petting the hair just above Hitsugi’s neck, remaining enraptured by the look of happiness settled comfortably on Hitsugi’s face.

Yomi, then, felt the sudden urge to kiss the other man, though his brain told him quickly not to act on it. The last thing he wanted to do was scare Hitsugi away, especially considering the fact that they were already nearly pressed together on Hitsugi’s bed; the smallest thing could possibly drive the other man away, chase that contentment from his face.

He wasn’t sure where the urge came from; he had always harbored a deep affection for Hitsugi, and in the back of his mind, he had always craved the possibility just slightly, but usually it didn’t creep up on him like that, so suddenly, leaving him feeling twitchy and unfulfilled, as if he should be doing something he was somehow neglecting to do.

“You’re so beautiful, Hitsugi-kun,” Yomi found himself breathing out, almost without thinking about it. Hitsugi’s eyes slid open then, but Yomi could tell how groggy the other man was, though he was still aware of himself. Normally, he would have blushed at a comment like that, but his tiredness seemed to render him incapable; instead, he just smiled gently, and snuggled himself into Yomi’s side. That almost killed Yomi right then and there.

“You are too; you should see it better than you do,” Hitsugi replied, his voice husky with fatigue. There was a quality of his voice that made it apparent that his brain didn’t seem to be filtering his words before he spoke them, and Yomi knew, without doubt, that everything Hitsugi could say from then on would be complete, unadulterated truth. He could ask Hitsugi anything at that moment and get a truthful answer; but Yomi would never abuse that privilege, never betray his friend’s trust like that.

Yomi didn’t respond to Hitsugi’s comment, just kept running his fingers through Hitsugi’s hair, the guitarist’s suddenly closer proximity making it a bit more difficult. He watched Hitsugi for a moment, the man’s quiet innocence, and was once again struck by it.

“Being around you sometimes makes me feel like a better man,” Yomi admitted, his voice nearly a whisper. It was only then that Yomi began to consider the fact that though Hitsugi didn’t seem to be thinking his words through fully, neither was he.

Hitsugi snuggled closer. “You are a good man,” Hitsugi insisted, face half buried in Yomi’s shirt. “Don’t sell yourself short.”

Yomi smiled indulgently, letting his hand fall from Hitsugi’s hair down the other man’s back, stroking gently along the guitarist’s spine. Groggily, thoughtlessly, Yomi opened his mouth again. “Can I kiss you?” he asked suddenly.

Hitsugi looked up, his eyes wide with surprise. He suddenly looked more awake, if even a little frightened, and Yomi regretted the words immediately, afraid he had scared the guitarist off. But Hitsugi’s features calmed after a moment, though he was blushing again, and unexpectedly, he nodded gently.

Yomi was so shocked by the guitarist’s assent that he wasn’t sure what to do for a moment; he sat there, frozen, before realizing what had just happened, that he had just gained Hitsugi’s permission to do what had been plaguing him for so long, though he had sublimated the urge.

After a few long seconds, he finally leaned forward, pressing his lips against Hitsugi’s, surprised at the newness of the feeling. He wasn’t used to the piercings; though he had kissed Ni~ya before, jokingly, Hitsugi’s piercings were much more numerous, more pronounced. But though the feeling was new, it wasn’t unwelcome.

Yomi kept the kiss chaste, not wanting to scare Hitsugi off after gaining this unexpected consent. Hitsugi didn’t take initiative with the kiss, clearly nervous about it, but he did let his lips move back against Yomi’s, following the movements of the other man’s lips.

When Yomi finally pulled away, he couldn’t possibly have removed the wide grin from his face, not being able to remember a single moment that had made him as happy as the one he had just experienced. Hitsugi’s eyes were filled with deep affection, making Yomi’s heart melt further.

But Hitsugi suddenly yawned again, breaking the moment. Yomi laughed nervously, running his hand down Hitsugi’s back once again. “Go to sleep,” he whispered, once again feeling that familiar endearment toward the guitarist. Hitsugi suddenly looked confused, fearful.

“But…” he trailed off, as if unsure of how to articulate what he was thinking.

Yomi sensed the sudden insecurity from the guitarist, and he leaned forward, placing a gentle kiss on Hitsugi’s forehead. “You’re tired,” he explained, keeping his voice gentle. “We can talk about it in the morning.”

Hitsugi nodded mutely, seeming a bit less tense upon realizing that Yomi’s words were not a rejection. He snuggled back into Yomi’s chest, closing his eyes. “Mmm…love you,” Hitsugi whispered as his body relaxed against the smaller man’s. Yomi felt his heart swell yet again; he had always known that Hitsugi loved him, as a friend if nothing else, but what had just happened gave his words a new meaning—a deeper, more profound meaning.

“I love you too,” Yomi breathed out after a moment, happy tears brimming in his eyes as Hitsugi began to fall asleep next to him.

Ni~ya sat back in one of the couches of their practice room, right next to Hitsugi. He glanced over the room, watching his bandmates. They had decided to take a short break from practicing, and Ruka was across the room, adjusting his drum set where one of the cymbals had come loose. Yomi was talking to him as he sipped a soda, a wide grin on his face as he did so. Sakito was languidly lying across the other couch, looking relaxed, if not a bit tired. His eyes were closed, lashes brushing delicately across his cheeks. A small smile touched his lips as he lay there silently.

Ni~ya glanced over at Hitsugi, whose eyes were locked on Yomi’s back. The guitarist was nibbling gently on his lip, a small grin that had been covering his face all day still firmly in place. The bassist stared at Hitsugi for a second, then back at Yomi, wondering what had made them both so happy all of a sudden. He watched them both for a few moments, but finally, unable to keep it to himself any longer, turned his body toward the younger man.

“Okay, what gives?” Ni~ya demanded after a moment. Hitsugi’s gaze flickered over to Ni~ya, eyes leaving Yomi for the first time all morning. Hitsugi suddenly looked a bit guilty, as if he shouldn’t have been caught looking so utterly and completely happy.

“What do you mean?” Hitsugi inquired after a moment, shifting nervously. Sakito’s attention had also turned toward Hitsugi, one eye cracking open idly. Hitsugi was nervous; he didn’t like having all the attention shifted to him.

Ni~ya sighed. “You know exactly what I mean, Hitsugi,” he said impatiently, though there was a bit of amusement in his tone. “Why are you and Yomi walking around with these grins on your faces, like you found the meaning of life and the rest of us have no idea?” He glanced over at Sakito. “And why are you so—so—?” he began before trailing off, obviously not able to find a word to describe what Sakito was.

Hitsugi flushed deeply, glancing over at Yomi, but he didn’t think about keeping it quiet. What had happened between the two of them would be revealed soon enough, he knew, for it was almost impossible to keep secrets within their band. They had found out about Ruka and Ni~ya’s relationship less than a week after it had begun, not that the other two men had made much of an effort to hide it. And besides that, Hitsugi and Yomi both thought of the other band members as a family of sorts; they all cared about each other deeply.

The one thing Hitsugi knew, though, was that he was going to endure intense teasing for it.

Hitsugi took a deep breath. “Yomi kissed me last night,” he admitted, his voice soft. There was silence for a moment, before Ni~ya’s face broke into a wide grin.

“Finally!” he exclaimed, smiling. He didn’t seem surprised in the slightest. “I was wondering how long it would take you two to realize that you had feelings for each other.”

Ni~ya’s loud exclamation drew the attention of the other two band members; Ruka and Yomi looked over at them with raised eyebrows. Ni~ya’s grin wouldn’t leave his face. “Good going, Yomi!” he yelled across the room at the other man, and Hitsugi hid his face in embarrassment, feeling it grow even hotter.

Yomi clearly knew that Hitsugi had told the other man; he had left it to the guitarist to break the news whenever he saw fit, for he knew that Hitsugi was more private than he, more easily embarrassed. Still, he was glad the other man hadn’t taken long to reveal the information. It felt good to have it all out in the open; he didn’t like hiding things from his friends. Yomi just smiled knowingly.

“Thanks, Ni~ya-chan,” Yomi said. Ruka looked between the two of them, appearing confused. Then he looked over at Hitsugi, who was still blushing and hiding his face. His gaze finally fell on Sakito, whose face still held that quiet, easy smile it had all morning. He looked between the other men suspiciously.

“Am I missing something?” the drummer asked. It didn’t take more than a moment before Ni~ya answered his lover.

“Yomi kissed Hitsugi!” Ni~ya proclaimed excitedly, ignoring the way that Hitsugi groaned and buried his face deeper in his hands. He knew that the younger man didn’t mind the teasing, despite what it appeared like sometimes. If he had thought it really did bother Hitsugi, he would have stopped long ago, though he did make sure not to tease Hitsugi quite as much as he did any of the others.

Ruka suddenly acquired a grin to match Ni~ya’s. “Really?” he asked, seeming amused. “Look, our little Yomi is becoming a man!” he teased, bending down to grab the smaller man around the middle and pick him up. Yomi flailed against his hold, arms and legs going everywhere to try to break free.

“Not fair, Ruka!” Yomi exclaimed. “Why are you so tall?”

Ruka just cackled, carrying a struggling Yomi over to the couch where Hitsugi and Ni~ya were sitting. Sakito watched this display with muted interest, his smile growing the tiniest bit. He knew very well how close Yomi and Hitsugi were, and he knew that the other guitarist wasn’t very good at taking the initiative with relationships, so he was happy for his friends.

“Get off of me, *******!” Yomi yelled, though there was a smile on his face. Ni~ya was now laughing as well, doubled over on the couch as he watched his lover carry Yomi across the room toward Hitsugi. He finally dropped the small vocalist in front of the still-blushing guitarist.

“Do it again,” he commanded with a smile. “We wanna see.”

“Yeah!” Ni~ya agreed through a fit of chuckles. “Kiss him!”

Yomi smiled, kneeling down in front of his very embarrassed friend. He put his hand on Hitsugi’s arm, making the other man look up at him, still blushing darkly. He looked deeply into Hitsugi’s eyes, as if asking him silently if their friends’ treatment bothered him, if it bothered him to be kissed in front of them all. Then, after a moment, Yomi leaned in and pressed his lips to the other man’s.

He dimly heard Ruka and Ni~ya cheering in the background, but he ignored them, kissing Hitsugi deeply, more passionately than he had the night before. Hitsugi seemed taken aback for a second by the intensity of the kiss, but he fell into it quickly, letting his lips run gently along the other man’s. The feeling of the metal of Hitsugi’s lip piercings was more familiar to Yomi this time.

When Yomi pulled away, Ni~ya and Ruka were still cheering excitedly, and Sakito was still lying on the other couch, though there was a large smile on his face as well. Yomi smiled at his friends, glad for their support, however strange they were about it. He glanced back over at Hitsugi, who was still blushing but was now smiling widely, his lips reddened prettily.

“Am I interrupting something?” a voice asked suddenly, and all five men turned toward the door. Kei was standing there, glancing over the group of them with a slight smile on his face as well. Sakito sat up immediately.

The look on Ni~ya’s face was absolutely murderous, and Yomi and Hitsugi exchanged a worried look. “What is he doing here?” the bassist muttered under his breath, obviously not too enthused by the turn of events. Sakito ignored their responses, standing up off the couch and walking over to Kei, placing a gentle kiss on the other man’s lips.

A collective gasp went through the room as Sakito kissed Kei, the other members of Nightmare exchanging confused looks. None of them had even known that Sakito knew Kei as more than an acquaintance. But Sakito continued ignoring them, focusing his attention on Kei. After they pulled away from each other, Sakito leaned forward and whispered something into Kei’s ear.

“Okay, what the hell?” Ni~ya asked suddenly, and Kei and Sakito both turned to face the mystified bassist. Sakito smiled widely.

“Wouldn’t you like to know?” he said enigmatically, looking a bit wicked as he spoke. “We’ll be right back.” The wicked grin not slipping from his face, Sakito grabbed the other man by the arm and dragged a very willing Kei out of the room, the other man laughing easily by this point.

There was silence in the room for a few moments after Sakito and Kei disappeared, none of them quite sure what to say. Hitsugi was smiling gently to himself; Sakito looked happier than he had in awhile, and that, in turn, made Hitsugi happy. He always thought that his friend deserved more happiness than he got most of the time.

The silence stretched on for almost a full minute. Ruka was the first to speak up.

“I told you Kei and I were only friends,” he remarked dryly, glancing over at his lover with a very pointed look.

Ni~ya glanced over at him and then, after a moment, burst into hysterical laughter, holding his stomach as he laughed. Ruka watched him for a few seconds before joined in as well, both of them giggling nonsensically to themselves. Yomi looked over at Hitsugi, both men feeling a bit confused.

“I think we missed the punch line,” Yomi remarked to the other man. Hitsugi just shrugged, watching the other two laugh, Ni~ya wiping tears of mirth from his eyes.

“I guess so.”

Somehow, at the end of the day, they found themselves making their way out to a bar together, at Ni~ya’s insistence. Ruka could interpret Ni~ya’s motives easily; he wanted to harass Yomi, Hitsugi, Sakito, and Kei about their blossoming relationships. Ni~ya could be nosy to a fault, and as much as Ruka loved the other man, he pitied the others for being under the bassist’s scrutiny that night.
They walked a few feet behind the other two couples, Ni~ya watching the small gestures between the other men intently. Hitsugi and Yomi were walking close together, heads ducked in quiet conversation. Kei and Sakito were more overt about their relationship, Kei’s arm slung nonchalantly around Sakito’s waist as they walked. The bassist watched them, nearly salivating with excitement. Ruka just shook his head in amusement.
“Sweetie, you’re going to freak them out,” Ruka warned softly, leaning over to speak softly into the other man’s ear. Ni~ya seemed started by the words, looking up at the other man quickly.
“How am I going to freak them out?” he demanded, pouting a little. Ruka smiled gently down at his lover.
“They probably don’t want to answer questions about every aspect of their relationships, and I know you’re going to ask them every question you can think of,” Ruka said with a knowing grin. Ni~ya’s pout became more pronounced.
“You know me too well,” he conceded. Ruka just laughed, and Ni~ya put a hand on his hip as he continued walking. “You don’t think it’s exciting?” he demanded quietly, glancing back at the other four men. “I mean, Yomi and Hitsugi have wanted each other for so long—I win that bet, by the way, so you owe me some money—and Sakito and Kei! How can you not want to know?”
They reached the outside of the bar, Ruka rubbing the bridge of his nose in exasperation. “Never mind,” he dismissed, following Ni~ya as he led them over toward the table the others had gone toward. When he got there, Kei was getting up to get them drinks. He stopped next to Ruka, giving the other man a smile and asking what he wanted to drink. Ruka could see a glow about his friend he wasn’t used to, and it made him smile a little as well.
By the time Ruka slid into the booth next to Ni~ya, his lover was already pestering Sakito. Ruka smiled knowingly to himself as he sat next to his lover. The shy guitarist was fidgeting nervously in his seat, blushing deeply.
“C’mon Saki, how did that happen?” Ni~ya prodded, inclining his head toward Kei. Sakito glanced up at the man across the room, giving a large smile before dropping his eyes and flushing even redder, looking a bit guilty.
“I don’t know,” Sakito breathed out quietly. “He wanted to talk to Ruka yesterday, but you two were fighting, so I tried to keep him away. We went out for a couple of drinks, and it just…happened.” The guitarist shifted nervously, and Ni~ya cast a glance over at Yomi and Hitsugi, both of whom were grinning wildly.
Ni~ya, too, grinned devilishly. “So did you sleep with him?” he inquired, grin not faltering for a second. If possible, Sakito looked even more uncomfortable at the question.
“No…” he admitted quietly after a moment. “Not yet.”
Ni~ya raised an eyebrow. “Oh?” he intoned, looking surprised.
Another voice from behind Ni~ya startled him. “Sakito-kun is just classy enough not to want to give it up on the first date,” Kei said, somehow managing to carry all their drinks to the table. “Unlike some people,” he added after a moment, giving Ni~ya a pointed look. He set the drinks down on top of it before jumping over the back of the booth to slide back in next to Sakito, giving the other man a gentle kiss on the cheek.
Ni~ya looked affronted, turning to his lover with a glare. “You told him that?” he demanded, though he didn’t sound quite as angry as he might have. Ruka looked sheepish, glancing down into his drink.
“Well…” He trailed off.
Ni~ya let out an insulted little gasp, but seemed to find the offense venial enough not to remain truly angry. “Fine. I guess I’ll just go around telling people things about our sex life too,” he harrumphed, crossing his arms and settling back in his seat. Ruka eyed Ni~ya with a lenient eye, used to his lover’s mini-tantrums by that point.
Ruka gave his lover a rueful smile and slid his hand into the other man’s, which perked Ni~ya up almost immediately. If any of the other men thought Ni~ya’s mood shifts strange, they gave no indication; it wasn’t as if it hadn’t happened before.
“Yomi, Hitsugi, the two of you must have something interesting to tell us,” Ni~ya said, a note of pleading in his voice. “Sakito and Kei were such a disappointment.”
The other two men looked surprised by the conversation’s turn to them, and exchanged a look, grinning knowingly. Hitsugi flushed a little at the comment, though nowhere near the extent Sakito had when he had been asked about his burgeoning relationship. Yomi just turned back to Ni~ya with a wicked smile.
“Wouldn’t you like to know?” he teased, echoing Sakito’s words from earlier in the day. Ni~ya made a face at him.
“Why do people keep saying that to me?”
Yomi and Sakito snickered. “Maybe because you’re a nosy brat?” Yomi said, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. Ni~ya glared at him.
“You know, if we were somewhere else, I’d throw something at you,” Ni~ya said sulkily, taking a quiet sip of his drink. The comment only made Sakito, Yomi, and Hitsugi descend into a fit of giggles, sensing the truth in the bassist’s statement. Ruka looked down at his pouting lover with a quiet smile, wondering if Ni~ya knew—really, truly knew—how absolutely adorable he looked when he pouted, how his protruding lower lip looked so utterly and completely kissable.
Ruka slung an arm around his lover’s waist, pulling Ni~ya over into his lap as the bassist squealed in surprise. The drummer wrapped his arms possessively around his lover, asking, “Have I told you lately how much I love you?”
Ni~ya’s grin was so obvious that it lit up his entire body. Even though Ruka could no longer see his lover’s face, he could tell from the tiny, excited flush that covered Ni~ya’s skin that the other man was practically beaming.
The bassist turned his head to face the other man. “Yes, you have,” he replied, looking a bit cocky. “But I wouldn’t mind if you told me again.”
Shaking his head in amusement, Ruka leaned forward and placed a small peck on Ni~ya’s lips. “You’re spoiled, you know that?”
Ni~ya grinned. “Only because you like to spoil me.”
They were interrupted as Yomi made a mock gagging noise, making the two entwined men turn their attention back to the others at the table. Kei was laughing quietly to himself, stopping only for a moment to gasp out, “God, Ru-chan, get a room!”
Unlike Ni~ya, Ruka actually picked up a napkin off the table, balled it up, and tossed it at his friend, who dodged it easily, beginning to laugh even harder. Yomi was laughing then too, ceasing his mock gagging for a moment. “Anou…Hitsu-chan,” Yomi began in a childish voice, working hard to suppress giggles as he spoke, “I hope that when we get old and act like we’re married, we can still love each other so much, ne?”
Ni~ya glared at him again, but Hitsugi was chuckling softly, with that silent mirth in which laughter made no noise, but was a step from jocund tears.
“You’re only a year younger than me, Yomi!” Ni~ya protested. That just made Yomi laugh harder.

Ni~ya was half drunk by the time Ruka got him back into their apartment. He was drunk enough that he had that silly, stupid grin on his face, but not quite drunk enough that he was completely incapacitated. He was, however, leaning heavily on Ruka as the other man tried to pull the key to the apartment out of his pocket, one arm around Ruka’s neck and the other around his waist. He was also laying a flurry of very distracting kisses at the juncture of Ruka’s neck and his shoulder.
One side-effect of alcohol for Ni~ya was that it got him to be silly, stupid, and happy. The other was that it made him very, very horny.
Ruka tried to pull away from Ni~ya a little, so that he could open the door to the apartment, but that proved to be more difficult than Ruka had initially surmised. With some squirming and giggling—the latter mostly on Ni~ya’s part—Ruka finally had the door open and had pulled his pliant lover inside behind him.
It was hard work to get Ni~ya into the bedroom; he refused to unlatch his mouth from Ruka’s neck, and though the older man wasn’t complaining at the sensation, it made walking very difficult. Still, with much complicated maneuvering, Ruka was able to get through the door to the bedroom and slide the younger man onto the bed. Ni~ya’s body fell limply to the mattress, and he stretched himself languidly across it.
Ruka smiled as he looked on, Ni~ya lying there splayed out with seductive, completely relaxed grin on his face. He couldn’t help but stand there and observe his lover, watching the easy sex appeal the younger man exuded, even when Ni~ya was intoxicated. It came to him effortlessly, like it did to Sakito; yet it was different for the two of them, the kind of attractiveness they radiated without even being aware of it.
Ruka made a mocking tsk-tsk sound as he looked down at the other man. “Honestly, Ni~ya—what am I going to do with you?” he inquired sarcastically. Ni~ya giggled.
“You know what I’m hoping you do with me,” Ni~ya purred low in his throat, sliding his leg around the back of Ruka’s body, using it to pull the other man closer to the bed. Ruka smiled easily; these times were so calming, when he could forget everything and just be with his lover, just let everything go. He rested his hand on the other man’s thigh gently.
“You’re drunk.” His tone was matter-of-fact.
Ni~ya pouted a little, sucking on the end of his lip ring so that it slid back and forth through its hole, which he knew drove Ruka crazy. “Maybe a little,” he conceded, looking hopeful. “Does it matter?”
Ruka dropped to his knees next to the bed, grabbing Ni~ya’s leg lightly and sliding the other man’s shoe off, pressing a soft kiss to the inside of the other man’s ankle. “I don’t know,” he said slowly, purposely dragging the moment out. “Are you done being jealous? Do you feel better about the Kei thing now?”
Whatever Ni~ya’s face had reflected a moment before, it had suddenly become a full-blown pout. “Yes,” he insisted, crossing his arms obstinately across his chest, though he couldn’t suppress a shiver when Ruka slid his other shoe off slowly, pressing another light kiss just above the bone of his other ankle.
“Good,” Ruka breathed, sliding his hand up the leg of Ni~ya’s pants, just to feel the skin of his shins, his calves. Ni~ya was squirming impatiently.
“Ruka-san,” he intoned needily, but was cut off by the drummer’s short squeeze of his calf.
“Hush,” Ruka commanded softly, and somehow, that was more effective than if he had yelled. Ni~ya silenced immediately, laid still as Ruka slowly massaged his calves until the muscles there had completely relaxed. He then slid his hands down to the other man’s feet, briefly rubbing circles into Ni~ya’s ankles, then into the bridges of his feet, before sliding up onto the bed, bracing his knees on either side of the bassist’s thighs.
He leaned forward finally, meeting his lover’s lips and letting them mingle languorously. Ni~ya crooned softly into his mouth, his voice still emanating from that needy place in the back of his throat. The sound trilled faintly over Ruka’s lips and tongue, the sensation making Ruka smile against the other man’s mouth. He could already feel Ni~ya’s growing arousal, but he chose to ignore it for the moment.
He slid Ni~ya’s shirt over his head without much effort, before leaning over to Ni~ya’s ear to whisper, “turn over.” Ni~ya’s body thrummed with excitement at the order; when Ruka raised his body up enough that the other man could move, Ni~ya turned over quickly, baring the long lines of his back to the other man before Ruka settled himself back down, his own erection pressing into the cleft of Ni~ya’s *** through his pants. The bassist whimpered, squirming back into the sensation.
Ruka slid his hand over Ni~ya’s back soothingly. “Shh, darling. You’ll get that soon enough,” he assured the other man quietly, letting his palm continue to move in slow patterns over the milky skin of his lover’s back. Ni~ya groaned in frustration as he folded his arms and buried his face in them, realizing that he’d have to wait.
It was then that Ruka began a slow massage of the muscles of Ni~ya’s lower back, surprised at how tense they were despite the bassist’s apparent relaxation. Ni~ya was humming softly into the skin of his arms, skin tingling in anticipation. Ruka liked to get his lover like this, to get the other man into such a complete state of relaxation that Ni~ya had no qualms about vocalizing the sensations he was experiencing, so that he could just let go and enjoy without any other thoughts invading on their time together.
Once Ruka had loosened the muscles of Ni~ya’s lower back, he began massaging lightly along the edges of the bassist’s spine, making slow progress upwards toward his shoulders. He rubbed deep circles on either side of the gaps between each vertebra before moving up to the next, feeling Ni~ya continue to writhe beneath him.
It was when Ruka got to his lover’s shoulders and neck that Ni~ya begun openly moaning, the sound muffled by the cavern created between his arms. The sound went straight to Ruka’s ****; Ni~ya wasn’t the only one who was getting impatient. As Ruka began kneading Ni~ya’s shoulders, the other man finally lifted his head, speaking up for the first time in what seemed like so long.
“Ruka—please—I need you to—” he choked out, his voice thick with need. Ruka grinned, leaning forward to press a kiss to the bone just below Ni~ya’s ear before breathing out his response.
“You need me to what?” the drummer asked wickedly, pleased by the low groan Ni~ya expelled in response.
“Unh…please…**** me,” he gasped out finally.
Ruka didn’t need any more prodding; he moved quickly down his lover’s body, sliding his hands around the bassist’s stomach to unfasten his pants and slide them down, too lazy to pull them all the way off. As he began working on undoing his own pants, Ni~ya shifted a few times and managed to wriggle all the way out of them, spreading his legs invitingly for the other man.
Ruka groaned, reaching over to their nightstand and fumbling for lubricant and condoms. Ni~ya caught him by the wrist and pulled him back, the drummer only managing to grab a familiar tube. Ni~ya turned himself over, pulling the other man to him.
“Ni~ya, I need to get—” Ruka protested.
“Who cares?” Ni~ya growled desperately. “Screw the condoms. We’re both clean and I know you’re not sleeping around. I need you now.”
Ruka’s hand paused immediately, all his movements stopping as he cocked his head to look at his lover. “Are you sure?” he asked, recognizing the immense amount of trust that had gone into that decision.
Ni~ya grabbed the tube of lubricant from his lover impatiently, pouring some on his hands and smoothing it over the other man’s erection, causing Ruka to groan. “Yes, I’m sure,” he promised the other man quickly. “And if you’re not inside me in the next five seconds, I think I’m going to die.” As if to prove his point, Ni~ya hooked his legs around the drummer’s back, urging the other man forward.
There was no stalling this time, no protests; Ruka moved forward and sheathed himself slowly in his lover’s tight heat, having relaxed Ni~ya so much already that entrance was smooth, painless. Ni~ya groaned, tightening his legs around the other man’s back as if trying to urge him forward, to join them together even more completely. Ni~ya was whimpering again, winding his arms around the other man’s back and grasping at him with sharp nails as Ruka began to thrust.
If Ruka was bothered by Ni~ya’s nails digging into his shoulder blades, he didn’t show it, didn’t seem to register any pain as the bassist’s hands started leaving little reddened trails across the skin there. He merely continued moving inside his lover, groaning so low that it was almost inaudible, listening to Ni~ya’s soft whines and whimpers with relish.
Every desperate little noise Ni~ya made went straight to Ruka’s ****, made his own thrusts harder and more desperate as well. Their hands were both scrambling for purchase on each other’s bodies, as if trying to get as much contact as possible, Ni~ya continuing to whine and arch into Ruka’s thrusts.
Ruka could tell that his lover was close when Ni~ya’s hands finally released his back and fell backward into the mattress, his head falling sideways and his eyes beginning to glaze over. His hands began tangling in the sheets instead, balling them up between his fingers and crying little incoherent things that weren’t words, but were barely sounds either.
Recognizing the glazed look in the bassist’s eyes, Ruka began thrusting faster, angling his thrusts perfectly so that Ni~ya began to lose all sense of coherency whatsoever; he was so lost in the sensation that nothing else seemed to register to him at all, which had been the drummer’s aim all along. It didn’t take much of that before Ni~ya was throwing his head back and moaning loudly, orgasm so intense that he saw stars behind his eyelids, that the whole world seemed to cease for a moment, that he forgot to breathe.
So intent had he been on bringing his lover to orgasm that Ruka himself hadn’t realized how close he was, and with a few more thrusts, he released inside his lover’s body, collapsing atop him after a few moments in a sweaty, breathless heap.
Ni~ya’s body was completely boneless, his eyes still glazed over in such a way that Ruka could tell that he hadn’t quite become aware of himself yet. His head lolled to the side; he looked exhausted and so completely sated. It wasn’t until Ruka had disappeared into the bathroom, grabbing a damp cloth to clean them off, that Ni~ya looked down at Ruka with complete clarity. His breathing was still uneven, but his gaze was so full of love and open adoration that it nearly broke Ruka’s heart.
“God…I should get jealous and make us fight more often. And then get kind of drunk. I don’t think I’ve ever come so hard in my life,” Ni~ya said breathlessly.
Ruka looked at his lover for a long second, feeling hysterical laughter bubbling up in his throat and making no attempt to stop it. He slid an arm around Ni~ya’s bare torso, burying his face in the bassist’s neck and just laughing contentedly.

Yomi stood behind Hitsugi at his apartment door with a contented smile on his face, one hand resting comfortably on the other man’s waist as he waited patiently for the taller man to get the door open. The jingling of keys was audible in Yomi’s ears, but all he was focused on was the man in front of him, eyeing the line of Hitsugi’s neck with an almost feral grin on his face. Once Hitsugi got the door open, Yomi slid fluidly inside behind the other man, kicking the door closed after he had entered.

Almost immediately after both had removed their shoes (and Yomi his socks, since he only wore both out of necessity when he went out), Yomi stood up on his tiptoes, sliding his arms fully around the other man and kissing slowly from the exposed part of Hitsugi’s collarbone up his neck, feeling the guitarist shiver under his ministrations. Once he had reached Hitsugi’s ear, he whispered softly, “I’ve been wanting to do that all night. You’re so…” Yomi kissed his neck again, searching for a word “…tantalizing. I always want to touch you.”

Another shiver passed through Hitsugi’s body, and Yomi felt this acutely, smiling softly to himself. He could see a tiny blush creeping up Hitsugi’s neck, but it was mild; nothing like when the younger man was extremely embarrassed. It seemed that he was getting more used to these sorts of comments from the man who had been his friend for so long.

Hitsugi took a deep breath, changing the subject. “Do you think Ruka and Ni~ya got home all right?” he inquired, sounding a little uncomfortable but not breaking contact with the man whose arms were wrapped around him. Yomi buried his face in the other man’s neck again, placing a light peck just where Hitsugi’s neck met his shoulder.

“I’m sure they’re fine. Ruka was mostly sober. He’ll ‘take care’ of Ni~ya,” Yomi stated, snickering at his last comment. He slid the tips of his hands beneath the hem of Hitsugi’s shirt, fingers dancing along the waistband of the guitarist’s boxers. Hitsugi flinched a little because of the temperature of Yomi’s hands.

“Come on,” Yomi urged after a moment, his voice a low, seductive whisper that sent fire down Hitsugi’s spine. “Let’s go to the bedroom. I can’t tell you how much I want to touch you…how much I’ve wanted to touch you all night.”

Hitsugi nodded mutely, allowing the older man to lead him toward his own bedroom, though he was unable to deny his own nervousness. He’d had sex before, certainly, but never had he felt the sort of connection he had with Yomi with any other person. Sex had never meant more with anyone, and the guitarist had to admit he was apprehensive. Still, he followed Yomi to the bedroom, letting the vocalist lay him down on the bed when they got there.

The familiar feeling of Hitsugi’s own bed beneath his back did something to allay his worries, but not much. Yomi slid atop him softly, pressing their bodies together all the way to their toes, Yomi’s feet dancing somewhere around Hitsugi’s ankles.

Finally, Yomi pressed their lips together, engaging the other man in a long, languid kiss. It was quiet and unhurried, though Yomi was still edgy after anticipating the encounter all night. He let his hands run through Hitsugi’s shaggy reddish locks, feeling their familiar silky texture beneath his fingertips with a gentle smile against the guitarist’s lips. Hitsugi fell into the kiss immediately; it was familiar, and it was safe.

Yomi’s hands eventually began roaming the other man’s body, running down his clothed sides with gentle slowness, trailing across the slight curve of the guitarist’s waist. Yomi slid his hands further down, reaching for the hem of Hitsugi’s shirt again and sliding both his hands beneath, splaying his fingers across the younger man’s chest. When he felt Hitsugi tense up, Yomi removed his hands and pulled away immediately.

Yomi pulled back a little, bracing himself up far enough to see all of Hitsugi’s face. He looked deeply into the dark eyes beneath him, sensing the apprehension in the other man’s gaze.

“What’s wrong?” Yomi breathed out, feeling a bit worried himself. He waited for a few tense moments before Hitsugi gave him a strained smile, shifting nervously beneath the other man.

“I…I just—I just don’t want to rush this, that’s all,” Hitsugi admitted after a long pause, looking uneasy. “Us being together…it means a lot to me. I just don’t want to mess it up.”

His fears dispelled, Yomi felt a soft smile gracing his lips, touched by the sentiment in Hitsugi’s tone. He leaned down, placing a chaste kiss upon Hitsugi’s lips before speaking. “Okay. I can deal with that,” Yomi said, feeling that he meant it, totally and completely. He loved the other man, had already told him as much, and as long as he knew they were still moving in the right direction, it didn’t matter how long it took.

Yomi gazed into Hitsugi’s eyes once again, holding the other man’s gaze intensely when he felt that the other man’s body was still rigid. “Hitsu-chan, listen to me,” Yomi commanded softly after a moment, the younger man’s gaze fixing on him. “I know that in the band, we’re all dorky and sexual all the time, but that doesn’t mean I expect more from you than you can give. I mean…just because Ruka and Ni~ya had sex the second they realized they were both attracted to each other doesn’t mean that we have to. Look at Saki and Kei…they still haven’t had sex yet. We can go as slow or as fast as you want. This means a lot to me too, you know.”

Feeling warmed by Yomi’s words, Hitsugi nodded gently, a nervous smile on his face. “Thank you,” he breathed out sincerely, earning him a smile from the man above him.

Yomi shook his head dismissively. “That’s what love is all about—making compromises to make a relationship work.”

Hitsugi raised an eyebrow at the other man with a smile of his own. “Since when did you get to be so sentimental?” he inquired, taken aback by the change in Yomi’s tone. It was very rare that he ever heard the vocalist sound like that, say things like what he had just said.

Yomi giggled softly. “I think I’m a little bit drunk,” Yomi admitted in a whisper, a huge grin on his face. Hitsugi laughed too, winding an arm around Yomi’s neck and pulling the other man down for another kiss. Yomi pulled away a moment later to speak.

“I want to make you feel good, Hitsu-chan. Tell me if I go too far, and I’ll stop.”

Hitsugi nodded wordlessly as Yomi captured his lips again, hands roaming across the guitarist’s clothed body for the second time. This time, Hitsugi seemed much more at ease, and when Yomi’s hands slid beneath his shirt, their path much more cautious, Hitsugi only kissed the other man more deeply. Taking this as a sign that he could continue, Yomi slid his hand up further, grasping one of Hitsugi’s nipples and rolling the nub between his fingers. Hitsugi let out a tiny gasp into Yomi’s mouth, so Yomi gave the other nipple similar treatment.

The vocalist began removing Hitsugi’s shirt slowly, looking into the other man’s eyes for permission before removing it all the way, running his palms over the newly bared skin. He placed a flurry of kisses across the younger man’s bared chest, smiling into the milky white skin beneath him. Finally, he slid back up to Hitsugi’s mouth, kissing him once again.

But Yomi’s hands didn’t stop wandering, this time moving to the guitarist’s crotch. He cupped Hitsugi’s semi-erect **** though his pants, pausing for a few moments to wait for some kind of indication that he’d gone too far. When Hitsugi made none, Yomi continued, massaging the younger man through his pants. Hitsugi began hardening immediately, and it wasn’t long before Yomi had coaxed him to full hardness.

Finally, Yomi pulled away, both men breathing hard. Their breaths mingled between their parted lips as Yomi moved to speak again. “Can I…?” Yomi trailed off, though there was no doubt as to what he meant. Hitsugi nodded softly, not sure he trusted himself to speak at that moment.

Now having Hitsugi’s assent, Yomi slowly unzipped the guitarist’s pants to free his trapped erection, his mouth finding Hitsugi’s once again as he did so. Hitsugi gasped audibly into the other man’s mouth as the vocalist’s hand met his torrid flesh for the first time, arching into Yomi’s touch with a little mewl of pleasure. The sound made Yomi smile, remembering the cat he had so often likened Hitsugi to.

These actions seemed to spur Hitsugi on, because his own hands began moving awkwardly to Yomi’s own pants, movements impeded by the closeness of their bodies. Both men shifted back and forth a few times before Hitsugi found a comfortable position and, with only a few moments’ hesitation, opened Yomi’s fly as well, finding the vocalist’s shaft already hard.

Hitsugi felt his skin flushing, but this time it was from arousal rather than embarrassment. When Yomi released a little sound of his own, Hitsugi felt strangely accomplished, and, with a new sense of confidence, began stroking the vocalist’s erection in time with Yomi’s strokes upon his own. Their mouths separated as both men continued their movements, their foreheads remaining pressed together. Their lips were still so close that their breaths were flowing into each other’s mouths, satisfied gasps and groans the only sounds in the room.

Hitsugi was the first to reach the precipice, arching into the vocalist’s hand and mewling loudly as he felt a familiar, blissful feeling wash over him. After the dizzying effects of orgasm had passed, Hitsugi’s body rested back on the bed, and he returned to his task, stroking Yomi with a new determination. Yomi gasped at his lover’s unexpected boldness, feeling his own release rushing up with new intensity. Yomi collapsed onto the other man’s body, both breathing so harshly at first that neither could speak. After a few minutes of comfortable silence with their bodies entwined, Yomi finally spoke.

“****. That was intense,” he gasped out, his breathing still a bit labored. “If it’s like this now, what’s it going to be like when he actually have sex?” Yomi’s voice sounded strangely fascinated.

Hitsugi smiled. “Maybe it’s always like this when you’re in love,” he breathed, the vocalist’s resulting smile matching his own. Exhausted, Yomi buried his face in Hitsugi’s neck.

@ Ivayim-a, shouldn't you just post a link to Chantrea's livejournal fanfic archive instead of posting her work on this forum. I know her stories can get pretty hot sometimes, did she give you permission to post them here? Anyways, it might be easier to just post a link (and you can actually see all of the stories she has, and read them in order and everything). Anyways, I'm not the biggest "yaoi" fan in the world, but she's a wonderful author and often times has some really good plotlines. @ Ivayim-a, shouldn't you just post a link to Chantrea's livejournal fanfic archive instead of posting her work on this forum. I know her stories can get pretty hot sometimes, did she give you permission to post them here? Anyways, it might be easier to just post a link (and you can actually see all of the stories she has, and read them in order and everything). I'm glad I'm not the only one lol. I don't like their music either, but they are so fun! I didn't like Gazette's music at first, but I thought they were an attractive band haha. Then I came across some of their harder stuff and I liked them better when Ruki wasn't singing. Luckily his singing has improved, but I really love when he screams. Now alice nine is another story, I really don't like Shou's voice, but he is cute. The same thing with Antic Cafe, Miku only gets away with his dreadful vocals because he is so dang cute. It helps having Kanon in the band as well haha. They are also funny, but I still can't listen to their music. This makes me sound like such a fangirl ha.

I just listened to Anima today! :p I had a loooooooong train journey... so I listened and wrote critique as I listened... but I can't type it all up now! :mad: :D Over all I thought... it was ok... not my favourite from them, but there were some nice areas :) My mp3 player put the tracks in alphabetical order :okashii: so I didn't get them the way they were intended, but I remember that my favourites were livEVIL and the one with the title that begins with 'Y' :D :D

My main bugbear is that I want to hear more clarity in the guitar solos! :silly: I'm sure Sakito and Hitsugi are just as capable (of both shred and emotion) as the next men (sorry, people, XD :relief: ) but you never hear it because it's mired in the rest of the sound! :(

There was a kind of repetitiveness that made me feel at some points like I was listening to one big song all put together, and there was one song that nearly sent me to sleep (not helped by the fact that I was really sleepy! :blush: ) but that sounds a bit harsh as I didn't actually dislike the album. I guess I was just hoping for some more 'outstanding' songs... being as though I'd also already heard livEVIL and Raven Loud Speeeaker...

I know, Kinsao. It's a hardqore band, Demon hunter sent it to pjusk. It sounds a bit more likely for them to be at a place like that. But I'm not sure if they've disbanded.

Ivayim-a has sent the people a mail to ask about the band, because it would be pretty suck for us to come all the way to Malmo and it's not the right band.

Ooh. I LOVE Nightmare. My favorite band. Not just for the visuals, either. Yomi has such an original voice, it's almost operatic. And he puts such emotion forth when singing~ GAH. It's marvelous. Ni~Ya is a great bassist, too. However, Hitsugi is my favorite. He's a great guitarist, and such a sweetheart.

I could listen to Flora, or LiveEvil for hours, upon hours.

Yeah - a single and an album.
Nightmare's zany alter egos Sendai Kamotsu will return this summer with some new releases. First off, their new album Jinsei Geimu will be released on July 12 in a special box set for 3000 yen or a regular version for 2500. And yes, the misspelling of game is intentional to reflect Sendai Kamotsu's obsession with "gay" themes. Exactly one week later, they'll follow up with the single Kamisama Mou Sukoshi Dake, also available in two versions. They'll also embark on a seven date Jinsei Geimu tour from the end of July to the first week of August.

Sakito is one of the guitarists. He's REALLY SKINNY! And pretty. And does a great job of showing it off. He also loves to draw. (HAND ELEPHANTS! XD)

Ni~ya is the bassist. He's the least talkative and as far as I know, he's rarely seen without his smokes. His face is half hidden at all times behind his amazingly soft looking (and at times POOFY) hair.

And then there's Hitsugi. <3333333333 He's the rhythmic guitarist, I think. He looks intimidating but he wouldn't hurt a fly. He loves animals and has a kittie plushie on his mic during performances. He's the most shy out of everyone. And apparently is always getting picked on by Sakito.

I alway wonder about how would it feel to kiss Hitsugi with all those piercings.
I had one in my lip, but it got infected and I could't talk like a week or more. Now I only have piercings in my earlobe. My skin is so sensitive. I got them in April and it still hurts sometimes, so I'm not even dreaming about piercing myself again and my parents hate it, too.

Its not so inpossible to order. Cdjapan and yesasia are realy good places. I use those plases very much, to order things. But you need a visa card and of course money :-)

It was hard to type, becouse my cat uses my hand as a pillow. We have a big storm here, so I let her in, without my parents knowing it - they hate when she's in the house.

I would die without concerts... I think...
My first concert was Blood, they're not so famous...
I went to all german Diru-concerts, they are sooooooooo great! They are the only ones I like more then Naito.
And I went to Kagerou in Berlin and M10M in Munich.
And this weekend I was almost killed seeing Gaze two times... But they worth it.
