He apologized for making his hair blond, because a lot of Hitsugi-Cosplayers where there, and they tried to copy his latest style and he got blond over night, so their efforts.. ah you know what i mean.. lol

I went to their live recently on the 19th and Melody was amazing. It had Sakito trying all kinds of new techniques with his guitar including muting the bass line. It's an amazing song.

Another tidbit....the album version of Melody will be different from the single version (as so says Yomi). Who pointed out that he was actually wearing shoes! But also pointed out that his feet only came partway in the shoes (lol)

Also...Hitsugi is now blonde. Yes bright, platinum blonde. He dyed it the night before the live then mentioned that he felt bad because he saw so many cosplayers actually dyeing their hair to match his.

He said....It took me 15 hours to do it!

Someone said: Uso! (you lie)

Hitsugi: Uso janai! (I'm not lying!) Itai (It hurt or something like that).

Ni~ya sadly wasn't feeling well he said...but he took some medicine and was trying to feel better.

The funniest part was when Yomi was calling out Ruka and Ruka had already come out on stage. When Yomi went over to do his MC stint Ruka said bluntly: You talk too damn long. Everybody cracked up.

Hitsugi dayed his hair :souka: I totaly love this guy... but he need to take care his hair.. I totaly love his hair in all colors... crazy fan I know..

deas he mean that the fan saying you are a lier hurt him or daying his hair hurts? coz yeah 15 hours of hair dying surely hurt.
dying my hair took me arround 6 hours. and my hair is so short and not soo thick like Hitsugi's.

Well if i where you, i would not do it.. to much piercings for a girls mouth (Even for a guy, Hitsugi-kun can do it, because he is a famous visual kei rockstar)
And rings in your mouth do really hurt the first few weeks, because they cut your lip on the inside to get there a groove .. and i hated this very much, but with 4? I would have died!
All those money and pain just for a cosplay.. so i wouldn't do it :)

I saw that you were wondering about RUKA's piercings. As far as I know, he's got 10 on his left ear, 2 on his nose (next to each other), 1 on his eyebrow, 1 on his lower lip. As for his right ear, I don't know. =| Maybe 3 or 4 ? Maybe more ? XD

I'm going to buy the BPass as soon as possible, but I wonder if I'll buy the Shoxx, then. You see, I buy them in a Japanese library in Paris, and not only the import taxes are raising the price, but the library itself takes a great benefit. So a BPass magazine is approximately 20€, if I'm not mistaken. A Shoxx magazine must be around 15€... ? But I want to buy them because Nightmare's on the cover, because that's when it's worth the hole in the wallet, but to buy the 2 of them.... Someone be my inner voice ? I don't have one. @_@

Now I'm curious to hear "MELODY", after all the praising. ^^ I just hope that Ruka has done a good job, whether it's "MELODY" or "Can You Do It ?", because I was not all too convinced by Mad Black Machine...

In the end I bought both magazines, though in the future I'll quit buying Shoxx, I think. (Moreover, Hitsugi no longer writes columns there...).

Are you sure about the tongue?
coz it's dangerouse. according to the doctor I went to when my mom had her nose peirced. He told me I have to have an x-ray on my tongue first. So they can avoid any blood vains... I got scared. I didn't do it.
and about the rest are easy my friend had 3 peircings in each ear and one in the nose by herself. After she finished, she faint hehe crazy gal. but she totaly rock

It's sad, seeing Yomi's hair messed up. I guess the problem with Yomi's curls are that they are too small. Small curls like clown's hairdo, don't look flattering. Previously Yomi has had curls too but they are large curls like waves so those were marvellous. I hope he reverts back to the previous styles......

Personal Interview Yomi

Y: Eigentlich nicht... Allerdings hatte ich letztes Jahr ne Zeit, wo ich einen Monat lang echt von morgens bis arbends gearbeitet habe un da dachte ich schon, ich packs nich mehr...
I: Waehrend des recordings?
Y: weniger das recording... eher wenn ich texte geschrieben hab. Wenn ich mir dann die demo angehoert hab, hab ich oft angefangen zu denken, ne, das stimmt irgendwie nich, ne das passt ja gar nicht. Un da dachte ich auch, es klappt einfach nicht...
I: wenn du stecken bleibst, was ist das fuer ein gefuehl fuer dich?
Y: dann werd ich wie krank un mein ehrgeiz is weg *lach*
I: wenn du denkst du kannst es nich mehr, tust du dann dinge wie zu viel essen, zu viel schlafen?
Y: ja genau. Ich verschlaf dann immer *lach*. Im winter wenn der kotatsu da is, un ich denke ich kann nich mehr, dann verkriech ich mich unter dem kotatsu und dann schlaf ich unbestimmte zeit. Wenns ganz schlimm wird, schreib ich sogar noch unterm kotatsu weiter songtexte. Staendig im traum *lach*. Un sogar im traum denk ich, ich kanns nich, ich kanns nich... un wenn ich dann aufwache, bin ich fast noch mueder als vor dem schlafen... *lach*
I: gab es sowas beim jetzigen album auch?
Y: ne so schlimm wars diesmal nich.
I: aber sowas scheints ja zu geben. Um in der musik szene weiter zu kommen ist man ja verschiedenem druck ausgesetzt. Besonders der saenger, als frontmann, muss doch da verschiedenen buerden standhalten. Denkst du nicht manchmal, du zerbrichst?
Y: klar, sehr oft sogar *lach*. Aber ich krieg das jedesmal wieder in den Griff.
I: durch was bekommst du zum beispiel das gefuehl, dass du zerbrichst?
Y: Zum beispiel wenn ich genau weiss wie ich es machen will, aber es einfach nicht umsetzen kann. Egal ob beim aufnehmen oder live. Wenn ich zum beispiel denke, ich konnte den erwartungen der fans, der record-firma nicht entsprechen, dann denk ich, ich zerbrech. Kommt auch vor, dass ich dann mal einen tag lang irgendwo hin verscheinde.
I: wohin?
Y: zum beispiel mit freunden in ne Bar was trinken gehen oder so. Durch das auf und ab des lebens geht dann beim trinken die spannung schlagartig hoch. Und alle ziehen mit *lach*. Doch wenn ich dann wieder runterfalle, wein ich auch. Hm.. auch wenn mans weinen nennt, ich wein wohl nicht weil alles so hart is, sondern weil ich von andern bands hoere, „ja, das kenn ich“.
Aber vermutlich ist das nur meine natuerliche art den stress abzubauen.
I: ah, verstehe. Aber du sagst doch zum beispiel bei den Lives in den MCs „diesmal waren wir der und der platz in den charts, beim naechsten mal werden wir platz 1“. Ist es nicht so, dass du dir damit selbst druck auflaedst? Obwohl, dass du es so heiter sagen kannst, ist auch sehr bewundernswert.
Y: nee.. also auch wenn ich es sage, bei mir selbst denk ich, dass es auch nichts schlechtes ist, wenn wir es nicht schaffen.
I: da ist also kein preis gesetzt?
Y: genau. Vermutlich kann ich es deswegen so normal sagen. Ich will unsern fans, die uns gucken und hoeren kommen nur mitteilen, dass wir noch ein bisschen hoeher zielen. Wenn wir zum beispiel eine CD rausbringen und so gut werden, dass wir auf platz eins landen und konzerthallen mit 10.000, 20.000 Menschen fuellen, in der welt bekannt werden und so.. selbst dann gibt es noch etwas worauf man zielen koennte. Das will ich zeigen.
I: und diesen Gedanken habt ihr, seid ihr euch gegruendet habt?
Y: genau. Wie soll ichs am besten sagen... andersrum gesagt, weil wir, wir 5 sind, koennen wir so denken. Ich denke wir 5 unsre grenzen nicht festlegen kommen wir weiter. Solche mitglieder vervollstaendigen uns, oder nicht?
I: also... nightmare gibts naechstes jahr schon 10 jahre lang.. gabs eine zeit wo ihr nicht so gut miteinander klar kamt?
Y: gabs nicht *wie aus der pistole geschossen*
I: gabs ne zeit wo du aufhoeren wolltest?
Y: *entschieden* nicht einmal. Dass ich selbst mit mir nicht zufrieden war und ne auszeit brauchte, das gabs schon. Aber niemals weils mit den andern nicht geklappt haette. Klar gibts auch bei uns mal kleine kabbeleien, aber niemals so doll, dass wir nicht mehr die selbe luft atmen wollten oder so.
I: Dass du das so entschieden sagen kannst, ist ziemlich gut oder?
Y: auf jedan fall. Wir gehen sehr nett miteinander um und sorgen uns.
I: dass eine band so lange zusammenhaelt, da hab ich schon einige Tricks gehoert. Aber bei nightmare scheint es von grund auf eine staerkere verknuefung zu sein.
Y: ja. Denk ich schon. Ausserdem, was mich angeht denke ich, wenn es bei jedem von uns etwas gibt, das wir resprektieren, dann koennen wir lange zusammenbleiben. Ausserdem kommen wir alle aus der gleichen gegend. Ich denke das spielt auch eine rolle. Nightmare sind alle aus miyagi und ich denke wenns nicht so waere wuerde es nicht so gut klappen. Deswegen: weil wir 5 wir 5 sind, sind wir so weit gekommen. Es macht einfach spass mit den andern rumzuhaengen. Zusammen live auftreten macht zwar auch ne menge spass, aber auch einfach das ganz normale beisammen sein, die gemeinsame zeit macht sehr viel spass.
I: zum beispiel so wie heute in einem hotelzimmer zusammen make-up machen und so?
Y: genau das. Wenn wir zusammen sind, koennen wir auch einfach mal scheisse labern.
I: un deswegen sind nightmare eine gruppe mit so starken verknuepfungen...
Y: ich denke das merkt man auch. Ich denke das muss man einfach haben, wenn man eine band hat. Irgendetwas zwischen den mitgliedern, das man nicht sehen kann, das zu Toenen und Athmosphaere wird...
Aber wenn alle von uns in der Lage waeren ein solo zu starten, faend ich auch nicht schlecht.
I: gleichzeitig mit der band?
Y: ja. Nicht nightmare aufloesen und ein solo starten, nightmare machen wir unter allen umstaenden weiter.
I: un die andren singen dann auch?
Y: ja genau. Das wuerd ich gern mal hoeren *lach*.
I: wen willst du am meisten hoeren?
Y: Ruka, denke ich... *lach*... wenn wir mal zusammen karaoke singen gehen, singen niya, sakito und hitsugi aber ruka hat vielleicht ein einziges mal in unsren indies-zeiten gesungen, obwohl ich denke, dass es zu ihm passt, das singen meine ich.
I: waehrend er drums spielt?
Y: nein, dann doch eher im Zentrum. Eigentlich war Ruka ja eher der Centerman, als der drummer. Er ist ja auch gross. Deswegen denk ich dass es ihm gut stehen wuerde in der mitte zu stehen und zu singen.
I: vermutlich. Aber du bist schon ziemlich lieb, oder? Normalerweise denkt man doch als saenger wenns um lieder geht „ich selbst singe...“.. und empfiehlt es weniger an andre, oder nicht?
Y: ne, ich denk das auch *lach*. Ich denke auch, dass es wichtig ist so zu denken. Aber trotzdem wuerd ich die andren gern mal singen hoeren. Wenn jeder sein solo-ding durchzieht, dann wird die investierte kraft doch auch irgendwann zu nightmare zurueckkommen, denke ich. Wenn wir das so machen, dann kann jeder fuer sich wachsen un wir koennen nightmare noch jahrzehnte lang fortfuehren.


Personal Interview Hitsugi

I: Was war bisher das schmerzhafteste, das du erlebt hast?
H: Was am meisten wehgetan hat weiss ich nicht, aber die Piercings haben schon wehgetan.. Vor allem die Bridge (das piercing an der nasenwurzel).
I: Betaeubt man das nicht, wenn man es sticht?
H: Nein.. Hab ich ja alle selbst gestochen. Augenbraue, Lippe und sogar Zunge, hab ich alle selber gemacht. Und an der Augenbraue (links) hatte ich frueher auch eins, aber das ist rausgerissen. Ne Narbe sieht man noch.
I: Wie ausgerissen??
H: waehrend eines lives..beim stage diving bin ich wohl mit dem piercing an der kleidung von nem Fan haengengeblieben un da is es ausgerissen. Das hab ich zuerst nicht mal gemerkt. Ich dachte ich schwitze nur, aber es war blut. Als ich hingefasst hab, war das piercing schon weg. Aber so weh hats nich getan, nur ein bisschen gebrannt hats.
I: bist du nicht ins krankenhaus gegangen?
H: nee. Habs so gelassen. Hahaha...
I: das ist aber nichts zum lachen!
H: hahahahaa... *lach*
I: wann hast du dir zum ersten mal ein piercing gestochen?
H: so etwa mit 15? Mitten im unterricht. Hab auf meinen tisch en spiegel gestellt und von unten zack mit ner sicherheitsnadel durchgestochen.
I: uwaa....
H: deswegen war mein erstes piercing nich am ohr, sondern in der lippe. Und als ich mit der sicherheitsnadel in der lippe nach hause kam wurde ich von meinen eltern angeschrieen „WAS MACHST DU NUR?! WAS HAST DU MIT DEINEM GESICHT GEMACHT?!“
I: ich glaub das is die natuerlichste reaktion *lach*.
H: schon, aber jetzt ist es eher „ach schon wieder? Wo denn diesmal?“. Sie sind ueberhaupt nicht mehr ueberrascht *lach*.
I: hast du dich sonst schonmal ernsthaft verletzt?
H: als ich klein war bin ich mal an ner nadel oder so, die aus der wand stand mit dem ohr haengen geblieben un hab mir die haut eingerissen. In der 2. klasse der mittelschule hab ich mal versucht das bad einzulassen und dabei kam es zu einer gas-explosion. Ich hab mich schwer verbrannt und musste 1, 2 tage im krankenhaus bleiben. Damals hab ich mich furchtbar erschreckt. Meine augenbrauen un wimpern waren weg und hier im gesicht war wohl auch ziemlich schlimm. *lach*
I: jetzt kannst du darueber lachen... aber sei froh, dass du noch lebst!
H: bin ich..!
I: und in letzter zeit keine verletzungen oder krankenhausbesuche?
H: vor ein paar jahre hatte ich ganz furchbare bauchschmerzen. Vor etwa 3 jahren, glaub ich... Ich hatte ein Magengeschwuer, es wurden verschiedene Untersuchungen gemacht und mir wurde gesagt, dass Stress die Ursache sein koennte.
I: War stress die ursache?
H: ich weiss nich genau, aber meine freunde meinte, dass ich immer den spass der andren mitmache un dass ich wohl deswegen von selbst stress ansammelt.
I: also bist du einer, der sich immer um die andren sorgt.
H: das sagt man ueber mich, aber ich mach das nicht bewusst.
I: Mit sicherheit machst du das im unterbewusstsein.
Aber ist es nicht auch so, dass sich der stress ansammelt weil es so dinge gibt wie: „ich muss gut gitarre spielen, ich muss auf der stage eine gute figur abgeben, ich muss ein akzeptables ergebnis zeigen..“ das is doch viel, was stress verursachen koennte...
H: aber das ist doch bei jedem beruf gleich. Egal was du arbeitest, es wird immer was geben was du tun musst. Das ist der alltaegliche druck, ich denke den hab ich auch.
Deswegen... naja... ich glaub nich, dass meine arbeit da sehr viel anders oder besonders ist. Ich glaub auch nicht, dass mein job haerter ist und ich will das auch gar nicht denken.
I: stimmt wohl.. wenn man sagt „ich bin besonders“, ist das ja auch etwas angeberisch.
H: genau. Un genau das mag ich nicht. Ich glaub wenn man damit anfaengt, dann ist ziemlich haesslich. Deswegen denk ich, dass der taegliche druck einfach dazugehoert und ich mach mir nicht so viel daraus... wobei frueher hab ich den druck schon stark gespuert.....
I: frueher?
H: als uns angeboten wurde major zu werden und so.. ich dachte immer nur leute wie X japan, luna sea und leute die in grossen hallen auftreten, koennten major werden. Wir hatten zu unsren indies-zeiten manchmal noch nicht einmal 2000 mann-hallen fuellen koennen und wie sollte das wohl anders werden wenn wir major wuerden? Da hab ich mir schon ein bisschen druck gemacht.. „du musst weiter...“ so gedanken hatte ich eben... un bei magazinen un so und bei recordings.. „du musst etwas andres machen als die andren bands...“
I: sagst du denn etwas andres als die andren bands?
H: ich versuchs. Aber wenn ichs dann nachher lese, denk ich, dass es doch alles gleich klingt *lach*. Auch wenn sich die Worte unterscheiden, so ist doch die denkweise und der inhalt derselbe. Und man sollte nicht erst dann anfangen sich selbst zu konstruieren, wenn man das gemerkt hat, sondern man sollte von vorne herein einfach sagen was man denkt.
I: und was hat dich dazu gebracht, dass du so denken kannst?
H: das ist noch nicht lange her... vor ein paar jahren, eins oder zwei, vielleicht auch mehr... Ich dachte damals, dass es nicht klappen kann, wenn der Eindruck den ich auf der Buehne hinterlasse un der Eindruck den ich in den Interviews hinterlasse, nicht derselbe ist. Dass sonst der Character „hitsugi“ verwischt. Jetzt denke ich aber, dass es so okay ist, wie ich bin.
I: wenn du so bist wie du bist ist es auch einfacher stark zu sein ohne sich zu ueberanstrengen, nicht wahr?
H: genau. Dann hat man auch volle entfaltungsmoeglichkeiten. Egal was ich tue, es ist okay, denke ich. Das heisst nicht, dass man alles von sich erzaehlen muss, aber es heisst, dass man sich nicht verstellt. Und ich denke, das ist sehr wichtig.
I: das wird auch sicher zu einem punkt um in der musik szene zu ueberleben, denke ich?
H: denke ich auch. Und wenn man sich staendig erfindet, dann wird sich letzten endes immer das wahre gesicht zeigen. Das ist wie eine Plattierung. Wenn die Plattierung abgeht und sich echtes Gold zeigt, dann ist das toll, aber es ist eben meistens nicht so. Deswegen finde ich es besser, wenn man sein wahres ich poliert, als sein falsches gesicht zu schminken.
I: Das ist mal ne schlagende Bemerkung! Doch jetzt am Schluss erzaehl uns doch noch etwas worauf du jetzt im Moment hinarbeitest, was dein naechstes Ziel, deine Herausforderung ist.
H: Herausforderung... Ein Erwachsener zu werden, dem man das Alter nicht ansieht. Der jung aussieht und gleichzeitig eine gewisse Eleganz zeigt. Ich will meine Schwingungsweise vergroessern, mir alle moeglichkeiten offen halten, will auch als Musiker verschiedene Dinge ausprobieren und eventuell ein bisschen entertainen. Ich denke es kann eine menge spass machen, wenn man verschiedenes ausprobiert. Ich will nicht einfach nur ein normaler aelterer herr, ein normaler aelterer opa werden.. sondern ein bisschen aussergewoehnlich.
I: Nicht sichtbares Alter, grosse Schwingungsweite, aussergewoehnlich... na wenn das mal keiner ist, der sein herz benutzt.. *lach*

I: Kommt vielleicht ein bisschen ploetzlich, aber hast du dem Tod schon einmal ins Auge gesehen?
N: schon ein paar mal.. als ich etwa 2 war bin ich in unsren gartenteich gefallen, den wir hatten. Da das mitten im winter war, gabs wohl die gefahr eines herzstillstandes. Mein bruder hat aber sofort meine oma gerufen und ich war gerettet. Als ich etwa 3 war, wollte ich irgendwas aus dem schrank holen, bin vom stuhl gefallen un hatte das fensterglas (wohl vom schrank) im kopf stecken. Das musste mit 10 stichen genaeht werden. Als ich klein war konnte ich nie still sitzen *lach* und hab mich eigentlich staendig verletzt.
I: warst wohl ein aktives kind?
N: so! Furchtbar aktiv. Deswegen meinten meine eltern auch, von uns 3 geschwistern war ich am schwersten aufzuziehen (= ich war am anstrengendsten).
I: du hast also auch niemals ruhig im haus gespielt?
N: niemals. Ich bin auf dem land aufgewachsen. Wenn es hiess, „ich geh spielen“, bedeutete das in der natur herumzustreunen. Am fluss angeln gehen, mit freunden stuetzpunkte bauen und so...
I: sehr typisch fuer jungs!
N: stimmt genau! In der naehe unseres stuetzpunktes gabs ein vespennest und wir dachten es waer zu gefaehrlich wenn wirs da liessen, also haben wir uns stoecke gesucht und drauf rumgeschlagen bis es ploetzlich kaputtging und die vespen rauskamen. 2 von meinen freunden wurden gestochen und ins krankenhaus gebracht..
Auch gabs bei uns in der gegens so einen grossen fluss, wo wir versucht haben von der einen seite zur andren zu schwimmen. Ich bin als erster geschwommen und ploetzlich wurde es tief und ich waer fast ertrunken. Da sind schon ziemlich viele leute gestorben..
I: und ihr wusstet das?!
N: klar, wenn ich weiss es ist gefaehrlich, will ichs erst recht ausprobieren. Ich bin ein challenger.
I: und der draufgaenger von damals ist doch sicher auch mit dem heutigen niya verbunden? Auch wenns mal furchtbar knapp wurde, hast du es geschafft zu „ueberleben“. Liegt wohl daran, dass du nen starken ueberlebenswillen hast?
N: naja, vielleicht hab ich einfach nur pech (, dass es sooft knapp wird)..
I: *lach* und wie siehts mit deiner psyche aus?
N: psyche? Naja... sowas wie „ich will sterben“, soweit wuerd ich nich gehn, aber manchmal wuerd ich schon gern an einen ort fliehen wo niemand ist..
I: das ist, seit du bei nightmare bist?
N: nein, das war viel frueher. In der mittelschule bin ich auch schonmal von zu hause ausgerissen. Ich hab mich mit meinem bruder gestritten.. „verschwinde doch!“ – „tu ich ja auch“... sowas gabs halt.
Bin dann mit knapp 200 yen in der tasche von zu hause abgehauen, aber letzten endes nachts immer wieder nach hause gekommen *lach*.
Waehrend ich weg war, hab ich viel nachgedacht.. zuerst war ich immer nur sauer auf meinen bruder aber nach einiger zeit richtete sich mein aerger auch (oder vor allem) gegen die lehrer und meine eltern. „ich will nicht mehr nach hause“...
I: aber letzten endes bist du trotzdem immer wieder nach hause.. was war da?
N: wenn ich heimkam wurde ich von meinem vater angeschrieen, „WO WARST DU?! WIR WOLLTEN SCHON DIE POLIZEI RUFEN!“ mein geheimer ort schien zu ner richtig grossen angelegenheit zu werden. Mein bruder ist mich wohl auch mit dem rad suchen gefahren, aus verantwortungsgefuehl.
I: hat er dir damit nich gezeigt dass er dich liebt?
N: doch schon, aber damals hatte ich ne ziemlich miese zeit un das nich gesehn. Hab oft daran gedacht zu fliehen.
I: was war damals dein zukunftstraum?
N: ich hab damals schon bass gespielt und mit mein jetziges ich ausgemalt.
I: und weil du bass gespielt hast, konntest du es aushalten?
N: genau... weil ich so in den bass vertieft war bin ich nicht auf die falsche seite gerutscht, denke ich. Deswegen glaub ich auch, dass die musik mich gerettet hat. Wenn das nicht gewesen waere, waere ich wohl auf den falschen weg geraten.
I: und seitdem hast du wohl ziemlich viel geuebt?
N: ja hab ich.. auch jetzt steht das regelmaessige ueben ueber allem. Auch lerne ich, indem ich verschiedenste musik hoere. Allerdings hab ich neuerdings auch interesse an gitarre und spiele fast nur gitarre im moment.
I: zum songs schreiben?
N: ja, zum songs schreiben. Diesmal hab ich beim album auch songs geschrieben. Das hat sogar richtig spass gemacht! Ich hab vorher schonmal songs geschrieben, aber da war es eher ein „ich muss..“ gefuehl. Diesmal meinte zozzi (yomi), „niya, schreib doch auch mal“ und als ichs ausprobiert hab, hats unerwartet viel spass gemacht. Wenn ich das hinkrieg, krieg ich auch sonst ein bein auf den boden, denk ich...
Nur beim demo aufnehmen muss man ja sowohl die melodie als auch die drums einspielen. Auch bass... da ich eigentlich bassist bin, war das kein problem, nur die gitarre hab ich nicht hinbekommen.
Auch wenn ich dachte, „hier soll das und das rein“, haben meine eigenen faehigkeiten nicht ausgereicht. Deswegen denke ich, dass ich noch mehr ueben muss. Ich will die songs ja mit gitarre und nicht mit keyboard einspielen.
I: gibt es nicht viele, die von gitarre auf bass umsteigen?
N: ich war schon immer bassist. Naja, aus spass hab ich schon mal gitarre gespielt. Meine lieblingsmusiker kopiert und powerchords gespielt und so...
Aber beim bass gehts vor allem darum einzelne toene zu spielen. Und weil ich schon jahrelang bass spiele, sind meine haende perfekt an den bass angepasst. Deswegen hab ich kein gefuehl fuer die gitarre. Normales solo-spiel ist auch auf der gitarre kein problem, aber offene akkorde und barre-akkorde krieg ich noch ueberhaupt nicht hin.
Ich denke, fuer gitarre braucht man sehr viel geschick und die ganzen gitarristen dieser welt sind wahnsinn... auch sakito und hitsugi, die auch saumaessig schwere phrasen so spielend leicht hinbekommen, haben meinen ganzen respekt.
I: dieses mal auch?
N: ja *lach*... Um genau zu sein, hab ich auch diesmal sakito ne menge gefragt. „wie machst du das denn?“ und so... „joah.. das hab ich frueher auch nie auf die reihe bekommen... aber das is nur gewoehnung.. aber wenn du es weiter probierst, kriegst du es auf jeden fall hin“ und so...
I: eee? Ihr koennt euch einfach so fragen und kriegt so nette antworten voneinander? Das ist ja toll!
N: Ja. Wenn ich sakito frage, krieg ich immer gute antworten. „wenn du hier noch ein bisschen anders auf die seite drueckst, dann wird der ton schoener“ und sowas...
Ich wurde auch von sakito gefragt wie man das mit dem slappen am besten macht und ich hab ihm gesagt, dass man beim slappen andre muskeln benutzt als beim pick-spielen un dass er deswegen beim slappen nicht genauso spielen soll wie mit dem pick..
I: so wie ich das so hoere, vertraut ihr euch ja sehr un spornt euch auch gegenseitig an.
N: stimmt wohl. War auch schon immer so.
I: und so koennt ihr in der musik-szene ueberleben?
N: ja, ich denke dass es wichtig ist. Ausserdem muss man immer wieder einen neuen versuch starten. Nicht nur in seinem teritorium bleiben sondern die haende auch mal nach was ganz neuem ausstrecken und es einfach ausprobieren.
I: und was willst du persoenlich als naechstes ausprobieren?
N: es gibt viel was ich machen will, aber vor allem will ich es jetzt erst mal auf die reihe bekommen ein paar gute songs zu schreiben. Selbstverstaendlich ist fuer mich immer noch der bass am wichtigsten, aber wenn ich nicht aufpasse kann ich so keine songs schreiben un gitarre auch nicht spielen.. ich denke dieses jahr will ich vollkommen in die musik eintauchen. Bisher hatte ich spass am spielen und hoeren, doch ab jetzt will ich auch schreiben. Und ich denke mit diesen 3 pfeilern will ich weiter kommen.

On May 17th (Sun), Nightmare will once again be collaborating with Nico Nico in streaming their concert via the internet inside a live house. They will be performing songs from their upcoming album, "majestical parade."

They will start letting people in at 6:20PM and the show will start at 6:30PM (5:30AM EST/4:30AM CST).

Membership to the Nico Nico website is free. Unless you're signing up for the Premium account, it will cost about 500 yen or so. However, the entire site is in Japanese, so you'll have to know how to read a little bit in order to navigate around.

In case any of you haven't heard...Nightmare now has a new MySpace page!!! I sent a friend request and was accepted in just a couple hours...talk about fast! They also have a video of "Melody" that is perfect - and downloadable. Also, thanks to everyone on this thread who has posted pictures, interviews, etc. over the years. I've checked out pretty much every page here from the very beginning (yeah, lots of hours spent reading!). It's great to see that so many people still love Nightmare. I've only known about them for a year or so, thanks to Death Note, but love them to death!!!!!!!!!!

Nightmare Concert, 20th may 2009 at Zepp Tokyo

We were like dying with happiness because of going to the concert.
Do you remember? Our tickets had the numbers B55 and B56, and that sounded like quite in the front!
We were wearing our visual kei clothes (my friend was a little gothic-like), used tons of make-up (XD) and even more hairspray (in my case).
When we arrived at Zepp Tokyo, we bought some tour goods first: T-Shirt, Towel, Straps, Buttons, Pencil (Make-up) - Case.
I put the letter for Ni~ya in his present box, we got something to drink and searched for a locker.
While looking around a little bit, I got a terrible shock:
Our ticket number was B55 (B56) and that was number 15!!!! ...

...

... from the BACK!!
I was about to cry... I have ONE chance in my whole LIFE to go to Zepp Tokyo to see Nightmare (my favourite band 4 ever!!) and then I have to stand in the back?? In the LAST row?? That was definitely a reason to cry...
...
The queue was moving (and everybody stood EXACTLY at the place of his ticket number), the tickets were checked and we entered the hall.
What means: we entered the entrance hall. and then the saving realization:
Zepp Tokyo has NOT only some big doors in the end of the hall, it has also some doors at the sides of the hall!!
So I grabbed my friends arm and we went as next as we could to the front (when i think about it now, we might could have gone even nearer...). And so we stand at the end of the first third part!! And the people in front of me were quite small, too!! I could see the stage nearly without problems (10 - 15m in front of me!!). And I was about to cry again - with luck...
And then we waitet for the opening.

Quite suddenly the lights turned off with a bang. The crowed started to scream. The Intro of "Parade" began. The Fans started to clap hands with the rhythm.
One by one Nightmare entered the stage: Ruka, Ni-Ya, Sakito, Hitsugi, Yomi.. The crowed screamed even more (me too ^_^).
And the concert started. Both, Nightmare and their fans did their best.
I don't remember the setlist completely, but I know, that they played these songs (order incorrect):

I could see Hitsugi very well, and i saw him spitting water in the first lines, throwing his picks in the first lines (wanna have >.<), and thowing his empty bottles in the crowd. One of them landet 1,5m IN FRONT OF MEEE (*crying*) and another one flied over my head and dropped some water on me. WATER FROM HITSUGI!!!! *like dying*
During the concert Ni-ya plucked the strings of hitsugis guitar, was used by yomi as an arm-holder, and looked damn sexy *raaw*
Sakito looked great with his "new" hairstyle and was as sexy as ever. He and Ni-ya were scrapping with each other like brothers (as they always do XD) and at the end sakito was poured over with water by hitsugi.

When the concert came to the "end" (before the encore), i took my poster ("GERMANY IS WAITING FOR YOU!!") in hands and showed it to nightmare (jumping up and down XD). I'm sure they recognized it. Sakito looked at it and started to smile at me (or the poster XD).. He has just a terribly CUTE smile!! (maybe he remembered the poster, i had on sunday. who knows :) )...

The concert endet tooooo quickly. At the very end i showed my poster again and then it was over...
We went a little bit next to the stage, wanted to see it XD...
then we went out and got our drinks (which you HAVE TO buy for 500 yen... TO expensive -.-'). we searched for our lockers, took our things, rode the big wheel one time (it is quite next to the concert hall), took some purikura and went home.
I came home at 00.30 and my host mum was not that happy about it. (I REALLY feel sorry for that.. didn' think that it would be SO late...)

BUT THE CONCERT WAS GREAT!!
(although i lost my ticket on the way bag *drop*)

What i have to say at last:
If you EVER go to Zepp Tokyo (or Zepp Nagoya, Zepp Osaka or where ever), please IGNORE your number ^_~



p.s. at my lyrics translations i wrote "lets stop the pain" in nothing you lose.. but i think it is "lets catch the pain"...

Esorteric Romance is my favourite Album by Naitomea so far ♥ ♥ ♥ OUt of allof tvem this one to me sounds perfect. The order of the tracks was done so well that it's made me love Lost in Blue & Naked love more now that i've heard them in sequence.
Can you dot it is such a good song!!! The intro melody is beautiful then it kicks in to that dirty riff of awesomenes.
Nothing you lose is my second favourite song. I love the melodic flow into the chorus.
It's then closely followed by Gianism kyuu, Cynical Re-actor & Parade.

Majestical Parade really sounds like an album.I listened to it for the first time on at 10 am, before an imporant math test/exam.Cynical Re:actor was stuck in my head on my way to school XDD I thought it was Ruka's song 'coz "I'm sick and tired of you" sounds like him but no, the whole song is composed by Sakito.Can you do it is a masterpiece, it became one of the songs I would listen to when I'm kinda sad or when I need motivation etc though I listen to it no matter what my mood is! I over-play it! :-)
