Btw Hardcore and punk isn't something that fits togheter in one scentence if you know the exact meaning of the two.. Nightmare is a VISUAL KEI band.. And thats Rock/punk/ metal...

its visual kei (yeah, you even call the MUSIC visual kei), that means that there is NOT only one "type" of music...
it can be soft or hard, loud or calm...

they are nightmare, and i love nightmares ;-)

But hardcore is just plain rubbish. When you can say Visual kei and Nightmare has a lot of Punk or Newmetal Influences. You aren't able to say Hardcore influences their style.. Cause it doesn't. In my uppinion Hardcore isn't even music !! it's just irritation sounds made by a computer.. No instrument used !

Yes, hardcore is not a right word for describing japanese rock music. That's why they (and we) use words VISUAL KEI. Visual kei is style of music. Like punk or hip-hop are the styles of music, visual kei is a style too. And it can't be something else. Just visual kei, j-rock and that's all.)

You can order online from japan.
There are some European releases. I can get those easaly (at German music stores like The saturn..) But I don't know if you are able to get them in Russia. I can get them online in huge media stores.. Or alternative music stores online to. (try those at least)

I was in another big city near Sarov... Shop assistents don't know about Nightmare at all;(
But I'm ful of optimism...) My friend is trying to find CD.
I travel a lot but as handler, so I hadn't no chance to find Nightmare. When I listened to their music first time- I felt so happy! And now I can't live without this fantastic music;)

you can find j-rock CDs and magazines in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg(I can give you adress if you need), but I prefer to buy it from cdjapan or to ask my friend in Japan to buy and send it for me, then I give money back with packages, because I don't have that damn credit card - it's a really big problem T_T And one more - there is a really good russian site with CD! You can order the items, they'll send you them and you will pay for them at the post :)

You can also try Amazon.com or eBay to get Nightmare cds and they're a lot cheaper than cdjapan. They charge a lot more for the cds and a horribly high shipping charge. Amazon charges $2.98 US (don't know how much that is in your money, sorry) per cd for shipping and some cds you get on eBay have free shipping! Hope this helps.

You're very welcome. Just to let you know, I've had a very good experience with Amazon, except for one time and they gave me my money back. I ordered 2 cds and a movie on a Monday and got the first cd on Wednesday and the other cd and movie on Thursday or Friday...so, service is really good. Ebay's service was good, too. Good luck!!! They've said in interviews that they aim to go overseas but when that'll happen no one knows :( they've never been out of Japan as far as I know, that might have changed though

hello girlies, long time no post. I just came back from vacations with my dad, during which I tried to read the Revelation book of Nightmare (which they released a year ago). I had the confirmation that RUKA's true name was KARINO Satoru, and I'll tell you everything that I understood when I'm less tired/lazy.

I also read a few paragraphs of Hitsugi's pages, and I understood that in fact, even though he's an only child, he's the 3rd born. He could've had a brother and a sister, but one died soon after birth, and the other was stillborn (if I understood well). That's why he always wants so much to make his parents happy.
For the first 2, his mother took great care during her pregnancy, but for him, she rode in a roller-coaster even when pregnant ! xD She wanted to give birth to a child in good health.
After his birth, the doctor said that his head was too big and that he might have a disease. When his parents asked another doctor, the doctor noticed that it was because of the father's head, because it was big too. =)

(I hope they're all fine after the earthquakes and typhoon...)

Yeah there were 2 people from Poland earlier... it was in 2007 i think O.O" but now i didn't saw their posts much time...
Well... at 22.09.09 will be big day for me. It is not only because their new single. At this day will be my first anniversary with Naito :D Last year at 22.09 i saw my first Pv from Nightmare and i liked it. Short time latter i definetly fell in love with this band (and Sakito of course :p)... this time passed so fast... ahhh so many good memories :blush:

You're lucky to remember the day when you listened to Nightmare for the first time! I heard them for the first time back then in the autumn of 2008 and I became interested in their music and checked out their PVs in January 2009.I know for sure that the first pics of Nightmare that I've seen were pictures of Sakito and then, of Yomi.And I've seen them at around 1 am :D
I'm thanksful to the whole band, they are the reason I have (and learn to play) an electric guitar today.7/13/2009 - the day I brought it home, I will never forget that day, that's what I sweared to myself lol

Jata: thanks so much for the link to the Yomi & Ruka niconico talk. As always, it's a dream to see Yomi doing anything. But..it was so nice to see Ruka smiling & laughing & talking (when he could get a word in edgewise, that is...Yomi the talker!). Guys i have terrible news... i still hope it's not true, that it's only stupid joke... Nightmare's alter ego Sendai Kamotsu will be pausing their activities after concert in Budokan...:( It's shame...BIG SHAME!!! The' re so fuc*** funny and great as Sendai Kamotsu. I'm so sad now...:( There will be their last concert in Budokan. I wanted to be on Sendai's live so much but now it's impossible... this remind me that time goes very fast and when i will be still so lazy like now it possible that i will NOT be able to be on Nightmare live too...
never see Sakito = i will die...
I a bit broke down... :worried:

Yesterday I found out about the SK news and I was sad too and after a few hours, I saw this:

I wasn't interested in music before I listened to Nightmare.Now I love to discover new bands! I even tried to write riffs, and thanks to that I understand music better and which music is good and comes from the inside and which is just...commercial BS.
Sakito and Hitsugi are amazing on guitar! They have both their own styles of playing, which is great.I think the style is more important than the speed, anyone can copy the speed if they practice, but not the style ^_^
About the pantsu pic linked above, I made this wallpaper out of it.It's currently on my desktop so everyone can stare at Yomi's butt.

I like the Rem_ PV :-) I love the video effects, eye-candy even if they are unusual for Nightmare.It's different from their other PVs!
The butterflies reminded me of the Ajisai PV too, but just those butterflies, nothing more.
And, umm...like everyone started to use flowers in videos, from tv commercials to fan made youtube vids :blush: I want the flower effects too <3

This is the first time I'm watching Nightmare in Nightwear this variety show. Though it is already the second one. I think it is just an interview right? If I have not got it wrong, the guys were asked about what they like to do, associated to the season, short introduction of the show and what happened during the Budokan performance, but this is rather new to be, interesting because they were in Pajamas and it's like they really just woke up, Niya especially LOL! Fun to watch. Thanks again ^^

It's so annoying >_< I tried watching Nightmare on Music Fighter the other day but the live streaming was being slow and the picture kept freezing all through the program. It got to about 15 mins before the end and they still hadn't been on and the player I was using decided to stop working all together. By the time it started working again Nightmare had nearly finished Rem and the picture was still frezzing. The sound was uniterrupted so I got to hear some of it at least. so annoying though
