View Full Version : High Schools in Japan mainly in Osaka and Sapporo..
My friend's family is moving over to either Osaka and Sapporo and they have a 15 year old kid abd a 17 years old daughter. I assume they are going to high school now? No?
Anyways, they asked me if i can help them find some infos aboout schools around those two cities and can anybody like send me a website or two regarding high schools in Osaka and Sapporo.
Also, what time do the school starts there and what time do they end? Do and when do they have like long vacations like summer, winter and spring break?

Hokkaido International School (in Sapporo) has a good reputation. I have a number of friends who send their children there and speak very highly of it. They've clearly spent a lot of money on their facilities (including nice buildings) but it's fairly expensive. They operate like an American high school, but the students are from pretty much anywhere so there may be a dozen or so different nationalities in a class. I know the chairman of the board of governors if you want a contact to get in touch with.
that would be nice, thanks
