BEP's are more kind of hip-hop I guess? I don't really know. As a general, I despise nearly all rap, hip-hop, and anything related to it really. Actually, I can usually only stomache American-style rock music. I hate pop, and rarely would I ever listen to country. Everything else is realy just a no. For me anyways. Haha, that woman can't sing live! -points and laughs- Mean, but I hate their music. :D

Unfortunately they do... :okashii: I HATE Avril Lavigne and Good Charlotte. There are too many "bands" and "artists" like them in North America. The horrible sh*t like them has driven me to JRock. And I'm proud to say, that I love a lot of JRock, all of it I love waaayy more than American-style music. Though, the Japanese hip-hop/rap songs that I have listened to, are rather entertaining.

When I was in Shibuya,Tokyo I went in a shop that specialised in Hip Hop clothing and records. I can deal with japanese Reggae, but I've not heard any of their home grown Hip Hop yet.
My favourite Hip Hop recently is Quasimoto. He's a DJ and MC from California.
He uses effects to speed up his voice, and also raps in his natural voice,too - and it's not too gangster related. Lots of obscure old samples and breaks.
