Hi, I am seeking some help. I have a black lacquered two-tier box nicely decorated. Inside the lid is the inscription in old Japanese: To the commander of the Japanese submarine I-64 from the crew. I have tried unsuccessfully to reunite this box with a crew, or descendant organization, or someone directly involved with the history of the Sensuikan. Any help would be appreciated. I can send pictures. You may e-mail (cjslator@intergate.com) direct if you like, for more information. I am aware of the ultimate fate of the ship.

25 May 1942 Presumed missing south of Shikoku--10 July 1942 removed from the Navy list--before the I-64's loss, the IJN renumbers her as the I-164
