Japanese women (like muscles)?

How is the attitude with japanese women of muscles, and do they like people with it?
I am 250lbs. and I am planning to go to Tokyo.

I don't know but coincidentally today I saw a movie with a very muscular Japanese actor - Masakatsu Funaki, he's a Japanese pro wrestler, apparently not of the sumo variety. So there must be some though I'm ignorant on the topic. The movie was Shadow Fury and I liked it alot by the way - (comic book style) I prefer almost anorexically skinny guys, but many women prefer muscles, tho I'm not Japanese and wouldn't know, I assume there's probably some that do. I've heard that Sumo wrestlers are considered very attractive over there. However I like muscles on some people like Ray Park.

I'm not sure either, I weight train myself. In my own personal experience, as many girls have turned me down as they have said yes.
I would have imagined the same theory applies to Japan:
You're sure to find someone who likes you for your build. But it's a fact of life that everybody has different preferences.

All the Japanese women I know, personally, love muscles. You should've seen my sister-in-law and my mother-in-law staring at my dad and my stepdad, who both have big arms. My stepdad is big. I mean, he's an athlete and can bench over 300 pounds at 60 years old, so of course he has huge arms. My dad is just very athletic, but not a weight trainer. His muscles have just come from playing lots of sports and hard work.

Anyway, my husband's mother and sister were in awe of both of them. I was surprised they didn't touch their arms, because they seemed to be so mesmerized by them. They did take lots of pictures, though. Another friend of mine used to tell me that she liked "big guy". Not as in fat, but as in muscular. Really, every Japanese woman that I have met says they like muscular men.

seems kind of counter-intuitive that most Japanese men seem pretty scrawny, especially the younger generations. At 250, you will indeed be very big standing next to most Japanese guys. I'm about 170 and I felt pretty big.

As for preference, that really depends on the person. I'm sure you will run into girls that find muscles attractive, and some that won't. It's a mixed bag, just like everywhere else.

My special friend seems to like me as I am. I am very tall which helps. I'm slim and fairly toned, but not muscular.
Different folks for different folks, I suppose.

As has been said above, some do and some don't. It's the same as any other country.

I think the thin, european look is a lot more popular than "macho" as they say. Of course to each their own, but after all the going out and hanging out with friend girls, none of them seemed to be interested in those guys. They stick out, and are often gunjin, making idiots of themselves.

well, it's only my observation that they like types
actually every country has types they like, but in japan only a certain type of girl is going to be interested in foreign people to begin with
and they will be very stubborn about that type
ie beckham + bra pi type - r & b/rap type - shakira type etc etc etc

A japanese woman is an individual, much like any other woman, she will have her own unique tastes and preferences.

Some japanese women love the typical japanese guy build and looks, others love the muscle bound blonde hair blue eyed gaijin, its all a case of individual tastes.

This reminds me of a friend that I had from Japan. Keita I think was his name. He was really nice (shy) but near the end of his stay (Stayed for a year..school I think) he was picking fights and going to the gym. I sat him down and asked "what the heck are you doing?!" His response was that he needed to work out for the girls in his school if he wanted a girlfriend. I told him that he was silly because he was already fit to begin with, but he wanted huge muscles. He kept on telling me that Japanese women like muscular men..which isn't usually the norm for asian men. Or is it?? Either way, I told him that he was attractive the way he was before, but he told me that Canadian girls are different.
