hi everybody, it's the first time i write here, well, i'm from Mexico city and i'll go to Japan next year around august or september, i don't know yet, in fact i'm still planning my trip. I've choose where to stay, in sakura house dormitories, i plan to stay 3 months or something, but i till have some doubts, mostly my arrive to narita airport, the questions are:
1.-what happens when you arrive airport? i mean about the passport checking and all about it
2.-is too difficult to find the narita express?
3.-The NEX takes me to shinjuku too, or just to Tokyo center? or i have to take another train?
:relief:

Hopefully you will find info you need for your trip here and make some new friends. If you take time to read old posts and use the "SEARCH" function, there is a ton of helpful info to be found. Glad you found JREF, post often & enjoy!

1. Immigration will look over your landing application and check your passport. As long as everything is filled out, they will give you permission to pass.

2. The train station is hard to miss, it's right before the exit, and easy to get to from baggage claim.

3. I've taken express trains to Shinjuku and Ueno from Narita.

Welcome! Just follow the crowd... generally the japanese will have a separate line at immigration/customs, so follow the non japanese looking crowd.
Dont be worried! If you get lost, it just adds to part of the fun!
If you are worried about getting a little lost, its always nice to have an address written in Japanese that you can show to the taxi driver... I didnt do that in Japan, but I have in other countries.
I know nothing about the buses in Tokyo, so I will watch for the information that arises also.

How's the Keisei Line from Narita to Ueno? I've taken the N'Ex before but the Keisei Line goes to where I want to go.

"another question: somebody know about a dormitory like sakura house in Kobe?"

search for "sakura house" or "gaijin house" + "kobe"

"Kobe Guesthouse"
A guest house is far from Kobe-shi.

Not to mention it's cheaper too.

Good advice above.

If you do get lost, don't panick. Enjoy the experience.

Even the most dangerous areas in Tokyo, aren't really dangerous.

The keisei line is much cheaper than the Narita express (Narita is 4 times),
and it's takes only a little longer.
