Just got back Sunday from a month in Japan for work. I was in Tokyo for a couple of weeks and while there went to a great restaurant. Me and a colleague just stumbled on it, but I found it on the web - http://metropolis.japantoday.com/tokyo/443/restaurants.asp

We both thought the food was wonderful. The spices were incredible and the ambiance something to behold. For those living in Tokyo or going in the future, I recommend it. I actually went twice, the second time with another colleague. Both times I had the potato cake which was very tasty. I also had the eggplant, rice noodles with seafood (the best I've ever had), and spicy tuna sashimi. I stay away from chicken, pork, and beef, but one of my colleagues remarked that the beef was impeccable. We both stayed away from the chicken butt, wind pipe, lymph node, ...

It's a short walk from Shinbashi Station.

Maciamo:

How can you have Sonoma on the list, but not Fujimama? The menu is even done by the same person.

Sorry, I am not omniscient. I haven't been to Fujimama yet.
