They grow up so fast.
Well...in their case, not VERY fast.
But at least now we know they are people o.o
And...I don't think Totchi looks so bad...They look fine ^.^~

yeah i got the impression that at certain points in the concert it really could have been better on their part because they were all so drained.

Thanks for posting the picture! :p
and hello everyone new...
... I haven't gotten around to thinking of my 3 favourite songs off each album yet... *scratches head*
They do look tired... but it's kind of expected... it's a tiring business flying around everywhere and putting a load of energy into shows without much time to eat or sleep well. :kanashii: Let's just hope they take a bit of time after to get rejuvenated! :yeahh: ...... I think it's partly the fact that they're not smiling as well - makes them look kind of energyless. :worried: But they still look good, I think. :-)

Here's a new picture of Diru and yes it's a legal picture. It was taken before the NY show with the lady who interviewed them. Also a warning Toshiya look really bad in this picture, but I still love him anyways ^_^

LMAO! I love those! :D

It amuses my small brain even more because I was talking to my mom recently about the interchangeability of 'l' and 'r' in the Japanese language, and how elocution in English really matters - particularly when you are talking about elections. :giggle:

We can never mention elections to each other now without creasing up in giggles.

And if Kaoru and Die are involved - so much the better! :p :D

I have never converted anyone into J-Rock, but I am at the point in my life where I really don't care. Although I was recently embaressed when my coworker, she's asian came up to me and was like "you have an asian thing don't you?" And I really didn't know how to explain it, because the way she said it was like you have a fetish, and its not really a fetish. I told her that I like the music, but now she and my other asian coworkers now think I have like this weird asian fetish, when its really nothing like that.

But back to the topic. YEA DIR EN GREY ROCKS! So you know Dir en grey isn't just looks. But what is your most favorite look for each member.
Kyo-The Final Ugly Kingdom Look and the Saku look.
Die-I loved his long Mullete of the VK days.
Toshiya-The 12 year old boy look he was rocking(I really don't know the era)
Kaoru-I actually like his new long hair, even though I was the main one complaining.
Shinya-I know a lot of people hate it, but I like Shinya with braids. Or either the long blond hair that just is all over the place when he is drumming.

Wah, why is this thread on the 2nd page! And so random, but as I was rereading the lyrics to dead tree I saw this lyric

Even the child with the red coat swallows her tears as she faces reality

And it made me realize that Kyo is a Movie Buff. That line is in referance to the movie Schindler's List For who those of you who haven't seen it, is shot in all black in white, with the only color in the movie being this little girl in a red coat.

I don't know why but for some reason this makes me very happy   :p :p :D :D   :bravo: :bravo:

Ahhh, it's so hard to type right now because I can only really use one hand because I like killed my wrist, so I won't write a lot... but anywaysssss I personaly thought the article was really good.
It came from a relatively respectable website, and it said a lot of positive things about Dir en grey's music, and not just their image. It also talked a little about how fans could overcome the language barrier.
Even though Diru may get more fans now, in the end it will help their older fans because it means easier access to merchandise and tours. Plus, a bigger fanbase would mean more money for the band, and money is always nice
Even though a lot of the new fans may be a bit... annoying, they could turn in to really loving the music, and not just the image or because the band could be a fad. If Dir en grey does become a fad, it will eventually will pass over.
The one thing I didn't really like about the article though was the large amount of labeling. Not all Dir en grey fans are Japan obsessed anime loving Hot Topic fanatics.... But, other than that, I really liked the article, because it gave me hope to being able to see Dir en grey preform live again
And now, I will stop typing because my wrist might die :( *runs away*

The only thing is I am taking a week of from work, to go, and If Dir en grey tours the U.S I will definately want to go. I work at nights though, so their is a 5/7 chance that the tour will be on a work day. Plus my very best friend, she couldn't go to the Dir en grey concert , and I promised her that if they tour again we would definatly go even if I had to pay for the whole trip. And I am already breaking a promise to her that we would go to Japan together as it will be our first time. And I am breaking that promise by seeing Diru in Japan without her.

Wait I am confused...

Family values starts on July 27
DEG has a concert on 7/31 and 8/1
And of course they are going to add more dates to their Inward Scream tour cuz who goes on tour and only plays one show?
So when exactly will DEG have time to come here and play?

Nana007
Apr 22, 2006, 07:09
Nooooooooo! I am doomed. :bawling: The two locations that are the closet to me will most likely be the first dates of the tour. Those dates conflict with the Japanese concerts. Its supposed to kick off in VA Beach which is only 3 hrs away from me. And then the Washington DC date will probally be next, and DC is only 40 mins away from me. :( I should be happy and appreciative though that I am (possibly if I can raise up $225 :okashii: ) going to see them in Japan, so I should be grateful? But what if I can't :bawling: all the other dates are to far to go to :( And yes GO TO DENVER!

And yea, I know alot of people who are like I am not believing it until Dir en grey makes it official. But Dir en grey takes forever to update about stuff like this. I mean I knew about the Inward Scream tour a month before it was put on the website, because it was in the Haiiro no Ginka.

And alot of the fans are just being annoying right now. OMG they are going to sell Dir en grey in Hot Topic and because anybody can buy it I won't be special anymore. Its really aggravating.

Nana007
Apr 22, 2006, 09:38
Haha yea, you do need time. You need to know at least before May 29th when you can buy the tickets, because I am pretty sure they will sell out fast. But it will suck if you can't go to Japan, I was hoping to meet you in real life.

And man the Japanese concerts will have a lot of us gaijun ne. A lot of people are saying that they want to go and are trying to go. I have at least 3 online friends who are planning it, and one who has paid for hers already (lucky girl).

And yea Jessica we love you for your good intentions but this bag is a bit uncomfortable. Do you know how hard it is to type on a laptop stuffed in a bag with 2 other people, who also have computers. Not a nice feeling.

How did this thread extend like 3 pages that quickly? Anyways, did anyone answer the question about knowing when tickets for family values go on sale or if you buy them there? Any clues?

Even if Diru isn't there, I may check it out anyway (since it'll come through Columbus). KoRn is supposed to play for 2 hours, which means they'll probably play a lot of their older material, which I like. I can't stand their latest album, though. It would be wonderful to be able to see Diru if they do end up doing the tour b/c I'd probably be able to go to quite a few of the shows (Columbus, Cleveland, Detroit, Indie). sweet

The sad thing is with tickets I can get hotel and flight to japan for $1100 at the most, I get a family discount because my dad works for the airlines, now my only thing would be finding a carrier that isn't AA (american airlines) that's the only down fall for me I can't fly on the carrier my dad works for, unless it's impossible to find a different carrier.

I love how their travel agents give you the most "discounted" flights :okashii:

I've known that for the past month now XD only because my brother works in the Electronic's Dept at wal-mart here.

Anyways, I'm going to the Toronto stop on the Family Values Tour even if Dir en grey is there or not. I've gone every year since i've known about it.

Well, at least all the Hot-Topic-phobic people know they can buy Dir en grey at Wal Mart. Although, maybe they think Wal Mart is not much better?

I've been to Japan many times, I've never said I haven't been to Japan. I have an aunt and 2 cousins who live over there.

It's called being home schooled to be able to go away. I didn't always go to public schools, my whole life :okashii: Also just because i've still been online doesn't mean anything, you know it's called getting online when your over in Japan.

This topic isn't about my life or me. Anyways, I can't afford to go further then Tennessee, but then i'm not even sure if i'm going to go to any of the other concerts besides the Toronto one.

@ mikichan those dates and locations aren't offical until the FV Tour lineup is official so locations can change.

Nana007
Apr 26, 2006, 06:18
Well yea thats the citys but no dates have been given. But I don't think Dir en grey will be on the first few days of the tour, because of the 2 days in Japan. And I don't think its in that order, just the In alphabetical order.

Back on topic conversation starter:
What do you think is not necessarily Dir en grey's worse song, but the weakest song. And when I mean weak, its a song that when you hear it, it leaves you with nothing. You feel nothing, Its not a bad song, its not a good song, its just exists.
Why do you feel that way about the song?
For me its Taiyou no Aoi. Its not a bad song its actually has very nice music and the vocals and lyrics are really good, yet its a song that I skip when I come across it as it just bores me.

Riyko
Apr 26, 2006, 07:06
I don't think they'd change the Toronto one because there's many places they can hold the concert at, but they can change the locations of the US ones if things with locations don't work out.

I think Diru's weakest song is dead tree, I don't ever hear it when I play Withering to Death, but I hear all of their other songs.

its not really "in ur dreams"....im seriously just gonna go for it....and try my best to survive in japan.....honestly id rather have a buddy to do it with rather then to be alone and plus u r sorta in the same area as me....so seriously im not even kidding about this 1 bit....if u wanna partner with me and shoot for ur dreams...ur more then welcome to come+partner with me....i think it would be better to apply for a low entry level job with a company first before thinking of starting ur own magazine for the fact that #1 u will learn how the company is run to start ur own magazine and it will look good on ur name and resume that u actually worked for a real magazine and gives u recognition for the magazine u start.....

I do not think its going to work out at all. The reason why Rammstein is big and broke the language barrier is because people kinda find the whole Nazi thing rather cool so they associate anything german with Nazism. Anyways, the bias look upon japanese music has to stop. I mean, most of the time, when I say I like japanese music, people automaticly think I am some otaku asian wannabe. Hm.. Dir en grey never seemed like the anime type to me? Have they done theme songs before, or is this just some generating attention in America type of thing?

Because, in America, wouldn't they now be labeled as an anime band by people who have never heard of them before? :souka:

Champloo, I think that's dumb that people think that just because someone listens to Japanese music they're 'otaku' or 'wannabe'. Also, since they're so close-minded, wouldn't they also consider themselves otaku for knowing the word otaku? XP Yeah, just because I listen to Irish music means I'm SUCH an Irish wannabe, yep, that's me. *sarcasm*:okashii: I don't really worry though if people know the kinds of music I listen to, no one has ever said anything bad to my face, I don't know if they say bad things behind my back. I guess I don't even care if they know what I like. Damnit, if I like it, I like it, and that's that!

Pink t-shirts >>>>>>>> cosplay

I don't know if DEG hates cosplay per se, but they probably think it's a bit ... played? I know Kyo said he doesn't like the "gothic-loli" style b/c "some people just shouldn't dress like that" (remember and then they showed that fat girl HAHAHAHA). So yeah, if Kyo doesn't like fat girls dressed up as gothic-lolis, he probably doesn't like seeing a bunch of fat American girls dressed up like HIM. (I'm not saying all cosplayers are fat, but...)

Sunsweet your avatars has been killing me, now who is this hottie?

And yea the U.S has a good amount of fat cosplayers I personally don't care to much for cosplay unless it is done perfectly, those half done sloppy cosplays you always see just NO!!!

And I think pink can be done very tastefully actually, its not like we are going to be wearing like baby doll pink being all cutesy wutsy and lolita or in the case of boobiebut just plain gay. Or being like some outright horrible day glow color, because if it was I would so not know you guys. Which I can claim truthfull :p with the exception of sunsweet normphobic and poisonxivy and those three seem to be much to classy to do such a thing.

I think the whole purpose of this isn't to look crazy or obsessive, but just to let the band know that they have loyal fans in the states and that they are loved. And most fans who are able to will probally try to hit up every single concert they can. So it probally will be the same faces over and over.

Apr 30, 2006, 04:16
haha it's funny because I could totally see you doing the t-shirt thing tiff!

There are going to be SO many people at the shows. I don't even think the band will be able to see the special shirts. Especially at places like DTE engery theater where you have the pavillion then behind that is a big hill where people just sit or stand on. It's like a sea of people. It's going to be pretty close to impossible for them to see unless you are in the front row of seating.

(My dad works for DTE so if they play there hopefully I will have the hook up for special tickets. I don't think I will be able to go to any shows this summer because I am in a hard financial situation. I have a $1600 mortgage to pay for and I am only making $1000 a month at my new job. It sucks. I hope everyone has fun who gets to go though!)

Haha thanks Nana I am glad you know I am too classy for that LOL.

Apr 30, 2006, 04:58
Ew, why would I want to do the t-shirt thing?!

Now, I'd BUY a Diru t-shirt and I'd wear it around campus and such (b/c I wear jeans and weird t-shirts just about everyday, lol), but I wouldn't wear it to a concert, and definitely not with the intention of getting the attention of the band.

Aw, I hope you get to go to at least the Michigan show, poison. I'm hoping to be able to go to quite a few b/c I'm rethinking my school plans for this summer (taking less credits than I thought).

@ Nana: My av is the lovely, drunk-driving, JaeJoong aka Hero of DBSK. I like his bod <---haha, a commercial just came on that said that

Nana007
Apr 30, 2006, 05:00
Well if it is done in a pavillion, which is what it sounds like then I want to be seated, cause the 10 lawn seats would totally suck. Although thats a bit of money to be spending. If its like a festival, than all we have to worry about is pushing our way to the front, and avoiding the moshpits, while I am not against moshing I want to just watch (absorb every little movement) Dir en grey without having to worry about some sweaty 250lb white guy punching me in the eye.

because it really depends on my work schedule. I seriously doubt I will be able to go to everysingle one of them. I mean I am already taking a week of to go see Dir en grey in Japan, To go an then ask for another week off isn't good. I mean I probally could take two consecutive weeks in a row off, I know that my coworker who is egyptian is going to her best friends weeding in Egypt is going to take three weeks off, but after that she has absolutely no Vacation time off. And then her sales are up way way way higher than mine (I am a telemarketer) only the "power seller's" can really get time off like that. Unless I magically increase my sales by 150% then no go, my boss would probaly look at the barely hitting her goal Nana and tell me go back to my desk if I ask for 2-3 weeks off.

Well......not everyone's going to love Dir en grey, I guess. Although, I've never understood why people who hate a certain artist/group go to such lengths for them. I mean, you're doing what the artist wants you to do by paying them attention. XD

I think some people just have to open their minds more. Otherwise they come off as uneducated, unworldly and just plain prejudiced.

The only thing I am really worried is if they get booed. I really really worry, especially since the Korn, Deaftones, Stone Sour, Flyleaf fans are going to outnumber the Dir en grey fans. And I really want to like protect them from the harshness of idiot drunk americans, who might not be so opened minded.

The other side of me says Dir en grey are big boys, they know what they are getting themselves into, and if they can pull this off it will be great for their U.S career. And also even though I worry so much about the crowd response I still say that its okay, they will be ok cause your going to have alot of people who like to mosh and stuff, and Dir en grey is great to mosh to.

But then its like okay will Dir en grey get offended if no one is paying attention to the music and everyone is moshing. I mean we know that Kyo hates stuff like that. I saw in a interview, that he said he didn't like the cosplayers who stand in the back of the concert and dont want to participate because they were concerned with their looks.

But then most U.S musicians like it when crowds mosh and take it as an insult that they don't like the music when crowds mosh.

Oh well I am contradicting myself and am worrying to much as is my habit. Dir en grey will do find.

sunsweet
May 2, 2006, 10:04
They're not going to get booed, that definitely won't happen. Also, there will be a sh*tload of Diru fans there at each concert singing along and in general making themselves known. They'll put on a great show, they're professional musicians, not babies, lol. They'll be fine ...

The dates for the Family Values Tour are going to be released on May 10th, but I can already tell you that anybody hoping to catch Dir en grey in the Northeastern states is screwed. Not sure how screwed but screwed. Considering that after the kickoff in VA beach they are going up North. The next date I know is in Homdel, NJ on August 1st at the PNC Bank Arts Center http://www.pncbankartscenter.com/detail.html?eventID=219499. Same day as the Inward Scream show. Dir en grey isn't going to be on the first 5-6 dates because of the Japan shows. So if that show isn't good that must mean the other shows aren't good either.

Edit looking at that seating chart looks like I will be paying the full $50. Its an amphitheater, and so most likely all the other shows are amphs as well, which means lawn seats suck.

And yeah, Kaoru's pink hair was nice, but if he got it again, it wouldn't really match the rest of the band I guess. Also, if he kept his chin pubes with the pink hair, that would look hilarious :D

May 5, 2006, 01:30
Kyo is not how he may seem he is a very sweet man. They all are very nice guys. But im pretty sure if you cross the little guy he will kill you. He does go out with the band.
If I saw Kaoru I would tell him to keep his little beard thingy and I would tell Toshiya he looks better with shorter hair. Although I think he did cut it because at the LA show it looked short. I would also ask all of them to stop smoking and drinking excessvily( sp?)! Although Shinya doesnt have a problem in that area. For Die I would just like to strike up a convo.

I also got my DVD today. It shipped must faster than I thought it would. I am going to watch it tonight and try to give a spoiler free review of it. But yea so much Diru goodness.
And yes I agree that the JPop forum is going to hell in a handbask. This is about the only thread I post to nowadays.
To get back on topic. If you had to pick one song and only one song that defines Dir en grey. The song that is their most strongest song. And also shows the Dir en grey of the past and the future. The one song that makes you say this is Dir en grey and this is what they are all about and explain why.
I know what song does it for me but I want to hear(read) everyones opinion first.

Champloo
May 5, 2006, 07:48
Oh god, that has to be THE hardest question EVER! :clueless: I don't think I can pick just ONE! Zan is so old, and yet, it could fit in with any of their newer songs. I wouldn't use that to classify them though, but Zan is just teh le whoa. It's different from the rest of the album it's on. I use Zan to say they started changing so long ago, and it wasn't this spaztic change like everyone points it out to be. I CAN ,however, classify them by an album. Ladies and gentlemen, VULGAR! I love every song on there to DEATH. Such a wide selection of different styles on that cd, I think that cd is the step. The step that made their newest songs. Zan, was the beginning of that step long, long, ago. The FInal is also one of those songs that just stand out to me. If I had to let everyone in the world hear ONE song by Dir en grey, i'd play The Final.

That is so true Shinya gets very little love, but I must say he is awesome. I actually noticed it at the Avalon...for maybe a few seconds before I went back to Kyo, I mean the mans stage presence is simply amazing its hard not to notice him.

And the part about the teeth  so true. I mean there are times when you get a up close shot right into his mouth, and his teeth are  those shots seriously scared me.

I haven't watched Disc 3 yet though.

Saishu
May 6, 2006, 01:11
With each new DVD release, it seems like Shinya loosens up a bit more. He's still got that stone-face thing going, but he moves around a lot more now.

The 5.1 mix sounds awesome on this one; the bass is a lot more prominent than in the other releases, and the drums are nice and crisp. As for the vocals... well... they may have mixed them down a little bit, cos it's pretty obvious that Kyo's lost some of the power in his voice.

The camera work was a little annoying sometimes; you never really got a good look at anyone other than Kyo. I want to see Shinya play! Put the camera on the hands of Kaoru, Die, and Toshiya! We can hear the talent, why won't they show it to us?!

I was surprised that the DVD is all region, too. That's pretty cool.

Oh, and, my god, Toshiya looked pretty damn hot. And I should point out that I'm a guy.

The man is hot.

So I just finish the bonus disc 3. And here is my mini review. There was about 45 mins of extra footage of it Withers and Withers, about 10 mins of Taste of Chaos. Multi angle, and a pv for Higeki...

For Saku and Obscure the multiangle was a screen where they showed all thirty three of the cameras, and you go in and view the wide shot.

Dead Tree and Koudou had the individual live angles.

Also the Higeki...pv was really good and touching. There were two parts that really stood out to me in that pv. One was the showed Kyo backstage bent over with his arms on a table gasping for breath. Another was a shot were you can't see whats going on on the stage cause its a crowd shot, and the lights are glaring. But all of a sudden there is this huge flash of light and it goes to the stagel and the Mad Stalin stand is tipped over and you see Kyo on the floor and then Toshiya falls to the floor, Toshiya gets upm but Kyo stays, and then you see Kaoru come over and help Kyo off the floor before he walks off stage. Then Kyo drinks from his water bottle and goes off stage.

Really Really touching.

Also through out the DVD there were parts were Kyo gave the mic to Kaoru and dear god I thought my ears would buss  shouldn't they know not to give a mic to him :bawling: dear god the noise that came out of his mouth was terrifying. It was pretty equal with in terror as the shots of Kyo's teeth.

Kao-san can't sing for beans. XD

Well in disc one he gave the mic to Toshiya for a bit and he made this weird groan thing. And in both disc 2 and disc 3 he gave the mic to Kaoru a bit, and I swear It sounded like a Dying animal. j0ylucky if you want to hear what Kaoru sounds like he does background vocals in Jessica, and also Clever Sleazoid (he sings the "this is the last time" line) and In Merciless Cult as well (when Kyo screams "gasp for breath" he makes this "HUUUGH" sound).

I notice that songs where the background vocals are more melodic Toshiya and Die do it. But if they need a harsh sound they use Kaoru.

Also I rewatched the Higeki pv, and there was a really quick clip where you can actually see Kyo carving the No Future into his chest, well not really carving but he is scratching it in with a safety pin.

I also notice that this DVD seems to focus on Kyo alot. I know in lives they like to focus on Kyo often but it seems to me like 75% of the focus is on Kyo with the other 25% going to the others. Even in the Higeki pv about 60% of it is about Kyo and I love Kyo but that pv makes Kyo seem so emo liek I hurt so bad feel my pain.

Edit: Oh and I read somewhere I believe it was the interview where they talk about Clever Sleazoid and the european shows in UV. And Kyo says that in the middle of the tour he started having trouble with his voice. So as this DVD the 1st and 2nd discs, were shot the last two tour dates. So by then it was probally ragged. And it was probally as good as it was in NY cause he hadn't performed in a while. I think all the screaming combined with the smoking is really effecting his voice. Especially since he is not exactly singing or screaming properly the way he does it is damaging to his voice.

And just for laughs in the 3rd bonus disc they showed a performance of the final when Kyo only sings the first voice and chorus, and doesn't sing until like the last few lines. Instead he just scratches and makes him I am so hurting and in pain face. And as I was watching the DVD I was like if I was in that crowd I would be pissed especially since The Final is like one of my favs. I would have been in a royally bad mood if I was at a concert and he did that.

And I know I am rambling, but this is something that struck me as completly random, and had me laughing but on disc 3 during the Taste Of Chaos clips, the showed a clip where you could clearly see a Digital Clock. And it wasn't even small, it was like this huge digital clock with green numbers and you could see it in the shot for a good couple of frames. I even remember the time it said 6:40.

Pink Killer owns your souls... haha... ok not really as much as I love that song I don't think it answers the question. I'd have to say Fukai. That song never gets enough credit. It's one of their best songs or I think atleast.

i would be really pissed off too if that happened.....i think that happened in ny for one of the songs...i forgot which one and i was like grrrrrrr sing more mofo T_T but in a way i cant blame him....i dont want him to totally kill his voice... :(

i wonder if the rest of the members bash kyos head for smoking T_T....if they have present boxes next time im buying them lots of nicotine patches and gum....doubt they would use it.....

Kyo's English in live performances of "Clever Sleazoid" is even worse than the studio recording.

It's like... he's not even really saying actual words most of the time. He did that a lot with "Hydra," too. The "I wanna be an anarchist" line?

Dear god... it comes out more like "WAOWWAOWWAOWWAOWWAAAOWWAOWA!!!!"

Nana007
May 6, 2006, 09:32
Well Clever Sleazoid on the 1st disc was really really bad, but On the the 2nd disc It was really good. And I can actually understand Hydra. Never had anyproblem with that one. Althoug the to me in 24ko Cylinders the engrish rap is really really bad.

But like I said to me I think that the performances on the 2nd disc was much better than that of the first.

I want to say YES go out and buy this DVD right now. Disc one is excellent. Disc 2 is love and the Higeki...pv makes disc three worth every penny. But the discs don't have to much variety in songs. Most of the songs performed on Disc 1 are on Disc 2, only three songs are performed that isn't on Disc 1. Those are Red[em] Shokubeni and one more Although the Clever Sleazoid performance on disc 2 is freaking awesome.

For me the highlight of disc three was the pv. The extra bonus clips were okay, except for the lack of variety in the songs, you kept seeing the same songs over and over again, while every once in a while they would perform something different. Disc 3 also had a performance of rasetsukoku which is the oldest thing they played.

I would say only the Hardcore musthaveeverysingleitemthatDirengreyhaseverrealeas ed fans should get the 3 disc limited edition. If you are just a casual fan get the regular edition.

I want to get it, but I didn't know if it was worth the price or not, because I wouldn't want to waste some money on it if it wasn't worth it. Thank you

is there a specific way u could contact the management? do u know i mean..?
or maybe some contact information?
I'm not sure about that one, korns offical website might have a way to contact their management on it, but that's the only way i'd know to get ahold of their management.

Oh and dumb me earlier I said its Kaoru who helps Kyo up, but it is Toshiya. I knew that but had a dumb moment. I mean Kaoru would never be caught dead on camera in a wife beater. Mr. I never show my chest.

You can see his ribs. O_O J-rockers and their scary skinniness. Er, maybe there's a reason he doesn't show his chest that often? I'm not sure, but I think in Dir en grey's visual days, one of them (I'm too lazy to remember) wore short something-or-others that showed his legs, and they were so skinny it was scary. Eat, it's good for you!

It was playing on Stevens Untitled rock show. I saw it, and whats that about them being a sell out just because their video is playing on fuse. Thats stupid, and I would have them on Fuse ANYDAY over MTV/VH1. Fuse kicks *** (if it would stop with the damn emo.)

I guess I'll watch Stevens Untitled rock show tonight @ 700 to see if I can catch Diru, but my God I can't stand the emo crapola crap that they play on there ... eek!

They should have Tiffany's Untitled Jrock show, that'd be a good show, I'd watch it, lol.

I think if anything the whole first fiasco backs this statement. The management needs to start taking the potential of DeG seriously for what it is and pay attention to fans. If they do not I have serious reservations about saying that Diru will be able to sucessfuly penitrate the american marketplace and will most likely end up somewhere on the smae rung as bands like Ramstein.

Im going to go with the argument that it IS offensive because we know that Diru definately does NOT like those things put out there which they have made very clear. I think if the artist has stated that theyre strongly adverse to such things then it does become offensive.
