Best singing: Kyo
Best Talk: Gackt

his voice is so deep (even kinda sexy i think).
He talks very delicate and neat, it's like every word he's says is special mabye
its because he has too think about what and how too say things most of the time,
or just because it's gackt it dunno.
But the way he speaks it makes almost everything sound very intresting.

Best singing voice: that's a difficult one. I can't choose between the following for different reasons:
Kyo
Hizumi
Mao (SID)
Whoever sings for D (I've forgotten his name already... I knew it a few days ago... begins with an 'A'... :sorry: )
Isshi

I also think Daishi has an extremely good voice, which gets often forgotten in these sorts of considerations... it's very clear, in tune and also versatile, he can scream quite well, but not as well as Kyo :relief:

Miyavi... well, his voice has a unique quality that goes well with his style for music, but I wouldn't say it's one of "the best"... sorry... :gomen:

Gackt... yeah he is a strong contender... I like his voice, especially on the new album you can hear good quality in it... but somehow... I wouldn't say "best" either... it somehow doesn't have enough of special to make me say that :sorry: (sorry all major Gackt fans!)

There are other singers I like very much of course and think are really good... but the ones I listed I think have something very special. :flower:

Gackt's voice is very sexy, I saw this comercial (I spelled that wrong didn't I?) for the game metal solid gear, where he talks quite low almost whispers... oh yeah! :cool: hehe

the thing with Toshi is that his voice is typicall 80s stile, and since the band made that type of music, he really did a good job in the band. He has a nice voice, he can sing no doubt.

Kyo can do EVERYTHING with his voice, even if he sang false it would be sweet music to my ears. And the fact that he didn't take lessons just makes him God-like to me.

Best singing.... I'd go for Mao, from Shido. His voice is very clean, and he usually keeps it where he can manage it.
I think it's cool when they break their voices, but as for quality, Mao is my one.
Kyos voice is very good, but he's not that skilled as a singer.
In lives he often breaks off, I actually don't think singing lessons would have done him any harm. Just so he learns how to get the most out of that incredable voice.
Anyway, best talking voice: Shinya. It's so cute and nasal.

Dollporn, I agree with you about the singing lessons thing. I mean, Kyo has one of the greatest singing (and screaming) voices, don't get me wrong, he's definitely in there with the best for me. :p But there is sometimes a kind of prejudice against lessons, an irrational fear that the person will lose something of the individuality in their voice or the quality that makes it great the way it is. Which isn't true. I also think Kyo could benefit from a few lessons just so he can use his amazing voice to its full capabilities. :-)

-Jui (Vidoll) Can't believe no one has mentioned him yet... he has so such gorgeous smooth vocals :love:
-Ruki (Gazette) because he is my oniisan :D no really... I fell in love with his voice... his voice has matured a lot... he must have hit puberty too cause his voice got deeper :lol: *hides from Ruki*
-Wataru (12012) I think his vocals are so unique... also variety... it's key to good listening! :p
-Satsuki (Rentrer en Soi) for the simple fact that the man can't be imitated... his voice is the first of it's kind and there will never be another like it... :love:

-Karyu (D'espairsRay) I just love the way he talks...
-Kai (Gazette) aww... he's like sugar... his voice is so cute and he's so nice and happy and grateful...

I don't think Kyo needs lessons, he has been singing since he's been 17, now he is 30 so.. that's some time :cool: He tends to break off during lives but I think that he just does that so he doesn't use all of his power at once, their lives are 2 h long so it's extr. tirying. Sure he sounded abit... well, inexperienced in the old days but that was then.... I don't mind lessons, if it would help him achieve the most of his talent.... Hell, atleast he doesn't sing-cover his own voice like a lot of singers do... (I don't know what it's really called, but you know, when they put on their song and sing along......) And he can hit those high notes, which many fail during lives.

well at first i didnt like hyde's voice that much, still do... but in an intervieuw he says
that for the album AWAke he practiced the songs 2 days before recording...
on that album his voice sounds much better....

and yes, when people get older there voice changes, but i think when you follow
the band being a fan and all, you dont hear the diverence that much as a non-fan would.

Kyo has a great voice, as said he can do pretty much anything with it.
In japan there are just a few artist (in the j-rock area) who can do this,
a specialy in the VK indie area the vocals arent that great.

Best singing voice: GAKUTO-SAMA!!! I wish I could be original and say someone other then Gackt but to me he frankly has the most amazing singing voice I have ever heard. He's pitch perfect no matter what. Now yes, sometimes it is hard for the emotion to make it through on his voice (Example: "Bel Air", "Au Revoir", "Kalmia"). But we're talking about best VOICES not emotional expretionists, if we were speaking of emotion however it would be Kyo hands down but...yeah.

Best speaking voice: HAIDO-HIME!!! *bows down and worships him* :angel: Hyde has such a light speaking voice, light not to be confussed with high pitched. I could listen to him speak for HOURS. And the way he says "Tabun" could have me floored for hours as well. And what makes his speaking voice so great is that, although it is naturally a light voice, he can make it deep and rich when he wants to, deep also not to be confussed with low.
And I think my runner up on this one would be...hmmm, either Gackt again or the Ore-sama :blush: Miyavi is so adorable. I have a six minute clip of him doing nothing but spazzing. It's so cute!

I think Gackt's speaking voice is very sexy. Because it's soo deep. Also, he uses such nice japanese - sophisticated and polite. Also, he's got a great singing voice - Vanilla knocks me out every time! :cool:
However... what does one expect from someone called Mr.Perfect? His voice is just as the rest of him: perfect. Doesn't even give you a shock or anything. Just as it is.

Therefore, he's not my favourite.

For talking.. I'd definitely say Miyavi (unpredictable, am I not?). Miyavi's got a great voice - it's manly, but also very strange... But that would probably be because he doesn't speak like normal people would - because he's simply insane :D . I loooooove Miyavi's cocky way of speaking - even in his speach he's very conceited. Like when he says 'Urusai!' - it's too sexy... Me loves :love:

I'd also say Bou was on my top of talking voices;
It's too funny - because he looks like the cutest, prettiest little girl one could imagine, but then - when he speaks, he's got the manliest voice of all of AnCafe! :shock: It's funny :lol: However, his giggle is very girly. :blush:
