Unfortunately, I can’t understand how our military are able to place confidence in impudent Yankees after Hiroshima and Nagasaki tragedy? It's clear for me they are potential traitors, not allies. US military base in Okinawa is removing to 40km from Henovan only after our official request. I think it confirms that we may stay between a rock and a hard place, in other words, between USA and China into their military confrontation, planned by Americans. How much Japanese will die for the benefit of Americans? The 40km's concession is all what our officials have drawn from Americans. I suppose that it is unable to save Henavan citizens in case of reciprocal missile attack from China side. There is no place for US military bases in Japan! We need to keep our country free from US crazy attempts.

just out of curiosity, in the past 30 years how many Japanese have died for the "benefit" of Americans? Do you really think there will be a military confrontation between China and the US? How do you expect the Americans will betray Japan? What do they have to gain exactly? Have you been talking to mctojo?

Seriously though, Japan has nothing to brag about over America.

There is unlikely to be a war between china and america when both are heavily invested economically in each other, No japanese have died for Americans, and as for the annoyance of american bases on japanese soil, that would require a nice long history lesson about a certain world war japan lost.

Believe it or not Americans actually have a soul (really!) As for your core argument, I can't see why American can pull out some troops but not all. Without Japan we wouldn't keep up a strong presence in the far East, and god forbit, a place to stage forces for combat. No we are not blood thirsty, and no we DO NOT like going to war.
