so im planning a trip with my bestfriend to japan in the summer, but were not to sure where we should go. we are really into cars and i was wondering if anyone knew of any places of interest we would wanna check out. also we were thinking of stopping off at junk yards and getting stuff for our cars so if anyone knew of any good junk yards also

Toyota has some nice show rooms, but I don't recall were. For specialty shows you will have to do some research.
By way of parts, you are looking to bring parts for your cars back from Japan? If so be aware that some parts on the same cars are not always interchangeable between countries. The same model in Japan may have a different engine, transmission etc. than the same model in the states.
I don't recall ever seeing any junk yards in Japan. I am sure they have some kind of recycling for wrecked vehicles, but they are probably crushed/recycled quickly. I may be wrong though.

i know some of my friends who are into cars go to some junk yards some place.. ill ask them... other then that.. .there are many private owners all around japan.. i found a collector who has about 20 mopars.. and well.. id kill for anyone of those cars...
