There's a song I've been working on translating, and there's just one word in it that I cannot figure out:

出痴女

One of many attempts at Googling this thing gave me a vague idea of what the last 2 kanji might mean... (forgive me if it's inappropriate for this forum *ahem*) but I can't work out how all 3 work together as a whole. I couldn't find it on WWWJDIC, Goo, Google, or anywhere else I know to look. I do know what each kanji means individually, and pretty much all possible readings for each as well... but no combination I can conjure up sounds like what the guy is singing in the song (which I can't really make out ><).

I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me translate this term... and a kana spelling would be massively appreciated as well. Thank you! m(_ _)m

What do you think the last two might mean ? I haven't googled it, but at first blush it would look like idiotic woman or someone he's blindly in love with.
And the first is probably meant to be read separately.

Um...a 痴女 is exactly what Bekkichan thinks it is...It's also a genre for adult videos featuring these women. It's basically a woman who unashamedly loves sex, and is proactive about it. My kind of woman! (JK:p)

apparently couldn't fit any combination to the supposed meaning. The excitement for actually hearing it is slowly building...:p

You're both right though, I'm always bad about providing enough context when needed. ^^;; So if you go to the band's official website here (http://suicide-ali.com), in the Discography section you can find both an mp3 and lyrics for the song. It's the third one, called Favorite Song. Maybe someone with a better ear for Japanese than me can discern what he's saying in the mp3?

(And yeah, I linked the whole site instead of just the song itself because I love this band, and they're very new and needing all the promotion they can get, so feel free to check them out while you're browsing :p)

My guess is that he's saying "dashi chijyo" (出（だし）痴女（ちじょ）). I have no idea how that might be different from your standard 痴女.

Oh, and yes, it definitely is difficult to make out his Japanese!:blush:

Hmm, you could be right... 出し痴女 does yield almost 300 Google results, while 出痴女 only had about 80 and most of them were Chinese sites. I actually thought I was hearing a そ in there somewhere though, but I don't know of a reading for 出 that contains そ, so maybe not :clueless:

Considering that this is used in lyrics, and most of the lyrics in the link Bekki-chan posted is not "comprehensible" Japanese, my guess is that it is just an allusion to 入り鉄砲と出女 (the well-known rule during the Edo Period banning influx of guns into and departure of women (including children--specifically, family members of daimyo lords) out of Edo.

So, it just means either appearance or release/liberation of promiscuous woman or women?
