Banks in Japan

Hi,

Just arrived fresh of the boat in Tokyo from the UK and wondered if anyone had experience with setting up personal bank accounts in Tokyo? Is Citibank the only option if you need a checking account in English? Any help appreciated. Thanks

English speaking staff in the branches and via telephone customer service. No minimum balance required.
