Can anyone recommend an estate agent in or around Tokyo?

We will be moving to the area in April next year, and finding somewhere to live is just one of the many hurdles to overcome.

We have no problem with paying a deposit, or agency fees, but I'd love not to pay key money if possible. I know it's part of Japanese culture, but the whole idea of it just hurts me.

Oh, and since we are learning Japanese, but our language skills are currently zero, if they have a website with English that would be handy as well.

I know it's asking a lot, but anyone who has any suggestions, they would be much appreciated.

I used

http://www.kencorp.com/

and was happy with their service. Also ended up paying no key money - a lot of their landlords are used to dealing with aliens so they they are more flexible than most.

I've used kencorp before. They have English staff if you need, and don't necessarily have those "gaijin" prices... they actually talked our place down. I'm not sure what your price range is, but I think they're usually used to finding things in the 2-bedroom and larger range. Not 100% sure on that. though.

Thanks for the replies, I'll check out kencorp.

We are looking for something 2 bedroom or larger, so that fits. :)
