Just what the title says. I suppose this can be used an as opinions thread. If any of you want to cosplay, or have already and want to try, post your photos here!! ^^ We can help one another be able to cosplayer, uhh, easier. T_T For example me. :D I think I could cosplay Gackt, no idea why tho. I have the same hair than him I think in my opinion. I could try it at Christmas!! :-) Here is the pic of, umm, me.:wave:

Pardon my ignorance here, but as far as I understand cosplay, it doesn't have to be a j-rock star. I thought it could be anime and film characters too. I've seen items for cosplay for Battle Royale on ebay.

I've cosplayed Kyo but I didn't get to wear the costume to the convention cause I was in the middle of a huge art project and was kidnapped and taken there without a chance to change into my costume :( I cosplayed Hizumi for Halloween... there are some pictures in the cosplay thread :blush: I cosplayed Toshiya the other day for the hell of it... but my camera was broken so I couldn't take pictures... :( it was the best cosplay ever :smug: :D

I'm making a Takumi one but I haven't had a chance to go to a fabric store to get the rest of my materials... and it's way to cold to be wearing shorty-shorts this time of year anyhow :shiver: :lol:

I cosplayed once before as a really unattractive Satty from Sendai Kamotsu, gave up on the idea of trying to look hot like a jrocker, it was just really fun!! :cool: My sister cosplayed Full-face (HItsugi), don't think we'd get away with doing anyone else who wasn't wearing some kind of dungaree/boiler suit outfit though!! :emblaugh:

haha! I agree, I am not into cosplay at all... that is pretty much the reason we did the paper/plastic bag cosplays. (and the kozi one was a complete joke just for kinsao) We wanted to do something that either no one, or hardly anyone has ever done lol. I thought we pulled it off pretty well. It was fun to draw and color them!

I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes the new hip thing to do. I think it'd be so funny to wear those to a anime convention haha. Only real Diru fans would know what it was! The nightmare one still makes me laugh everytime I see it...

I am just looking back for the second time at those paper bag cosplays, and realising how funny they would look. :D I don't think i look like any jrock star, except Gackt. I once did that paperbag-cosplay. Just for my own entertainment. But I am supposed to cosplay either Freedom Fighters-Miyavi or then Obscure-Kyo. I am swinging between those two -_- But I have plenty of time, because the convention I am planning to go with my cosplay on, is in August.

I'm planning on doing a J-rock cosplay of some sort for Otakon this year.
For halloween though my friends and I just messed around and made our own J-rock band. Its not much but it was fun. We really don't look like anyone in particular though. The one with long hair getting molested is me!

Dude I totally cosplayed as Reita from Gazette to Anime USA in November. ONE person knew who I was. ONE. A few people were shouting 'Kyo!' like I was from Dir En Grey. Does Kyo wear a nose bandage? I think not.

Do you resemble Hitsugi at all? I mean in your facial structure or something. It would be great for cosplay if you did. To make the piercings you can use some kind of glue or something to make artificial ones... :)
I've never cosplayed anyone; there is no j-rocker I look like apart from Kozi (like we are brother and sister, haha, gave my mum quite a shock when I copied his makeup and then showed her a picture of me and a pic of him... lol.) :evil:
