The old Toonami....

:worried: Did anyone ever use to watch the old Cartoon Network, when Toonami appeared every day on weekdays? It was so much better then. It had all the first anime's I'd seen.It had DBZ, Tenchi Muyo, Sailor Moon(ick),Outlaw Star of course, and other stuff. I miss it so much.:worried: :worried:

For us youngsters, it was the first anime experience we had gotten! I'd have to say though, with shows like Gundam Wing, G Gundam, DBZ, Rorouni Kenshin, Tenchi Muyo, etc. it was a great show. AND it came on basic cable, gotta love that! :cool: But now that it has moved to Weekends, it has less time for shows, and it takes longer for shows to progress, so not many new shows are making it on to the new (and still highly censored) Toonami.

Not just for youngsters, Clawn! Back in its heyday, old heads like me discovered great shows like Sailor Moon (Yeah! It's great to me and I'm not ashamed to say I loved it!), Gundam Wing, Tenchi Muyo, Outlaw Star and The Big O among others. But Toonami's changed so much today that I don't even bother with it, or Cartoon Network for that matter. These days, Anime Network shows the best anime around while CN shows mostly garbage. But that's just my opinion.

This is what I have been talking about for a while. Toonami used to be so good. It really got me into anime. Sailor Moon and Gundam Wing are my favorite shows. DBZ used to be good. Tenchi Muyo and Ronin Warriors were on.

When they took Sailor Moon off and replaced in with Hamtaro :okashii: I was fuming. I don't watch it at all now. It is just pure garbage. I don't consider Teen Titans a part of Toonami. That is an insult.

What ever happened to good quality Toonami?
