Bleach is definately getting intense. Though I'm a ****** for humour and I loved it's earlier crack chapters, the fights are definately worth reading in Bleach.

Naruto's good too, but yeah. The plot seems to be moving too slowly. I don't watch Naruto anime but thank god the manga's jumped 2.5 years ahead! I assume when the anime is done with the filler episodes it'll also follow.

I used to love Naruto anime but the filler episodes really put me off. I felt like all my bandwith was being wasted. :okashii:

Haha! Action/plot and whatnot, about Bleach versus Naruto can always be aruged by the fans but in my opinion there's NO WAY you can argue against the fact that Bleach fashion sense kicks Naruto butt for sure.

Naruto! I was downloadin Bleach for a while, but i couldn't get into it. I thought the whole guy killin demons trying to get into the human world was a ripoff of Yu Yu Hakusho. Or maybe i just didn't watch enough.

I actually downloaded the first chapter of Bleach because it seemed like a shounen rip off of Yami no Matsuei :relief: (also about shinigami and such) but Bleach get's really interesting later! Which episode were you up to? Did you meet Kon yet?

Yup. Keep reading till you meet a talking lion plushy named Kon. If you still don't like it by then, you may consider quiting but the more recent episode of Bleach is pretty intense and action filled.

Yay, just watched episodes 166 and 167 of Naruto. I wish they'd get back with the main storyline, things are getting a little boring. Does Bleach do that too?

no no bleach doesn't do that it stays really close to the manga, and right now the action is amazing.

As for which is better I would say Bleach is now, but if you were to ask me 3 months ago I would have said Naruto because it wasn't filler then. But later when Naruto starts back up again its going to rock.

I've been reading the manga of Naruto and it doesn't rock that much... The newest chapter was so predictable. It's terrible when you've already guessed who's the bad guy and you have to read another 10 pages for the mangaka to reviel it as a 'twist' to the story.

At least the plot seems to finally start moving now in Naruto. Yay! I don't wanna spoil too much but in the new second part of Naruto -spoiler highlight to read- Kakashi isn't in it that much. Naruto get's another teacher called Yamato who's NOT as good as Kakashi (I love Kakashi :() With Sasuke gone, Naruto and Sakura also get a new teammate called Sai who I also don't like.

Naruto can be cool. That Hokage vs. 'Kazekage' fight wasn't as appealing to me as Naruto vs. Gaara. I could barely hold myself back from skipping forwards to Naruto's fight. I know the Third's a cool man and all but his fight was boring.

not in a traditional samurai feel. But in a more switch between serious and comedy. It doesn't have the constant power dragon ballz naruto level 52 turn chakra rabbit fox thing. And yes the sword fights do add alot of samurai feel to it. You just have to get into the more serious part of it. the beginning is not like it's current state.

If you love plot twists Bleach is the story for you. Because they way it starts you think the story will go a certain way, and then it changes. But now when I look back, especially where it is in the manga I am like smacking my self like aww...that makes so much sense now.

And yea I have really been backing down on Naruto. The last episode I saw was like 155, it was just so boring. And I agree on the HokagevsKazekage fight it was boring and the NarutovGaara fight was great. But the fight that had me the most excited was the NarutovSasuke fight, but right after that fight the show just died.

A steep uphill followed by a rollercoaster fall huh? The manga leaves you hanging and goes on to give you a bit of a filler on Kakashi's history. Not too bad, more like a side story to the series.

Yeah, i agree about the narutoVSsasuke part, that was awesome, then after the fight it all went to a bunch of stupid side stories...it's kinda pathetic, cuz all the big bad enemies are beat in one episode. Itachi and Orochimaru are nowhere to be heard of either...it sucks. But heck, i'll still watch it, i mean, it's not like i'm payin for it or anything.

The manga only recently got back to the main story... so er... The chapters with Kakashi in it arn't in volume form yet. They were published in SWJ and scanlated by a variety of groups including Inane etc.

Kenshin was licensed ages ago so that's why it's hard find http download links for it.

I'm gonna be pretty high on meds since i'm gettin my wisdom teeth out, so i may not get it....but i get alot of days off work so i'll have plenty of free time.

He told me it costs the equivalent of $2 or $3 dollars.....over here we pay $7.95 (without tax)...and that's Shonen Jump, the cheapest (and they have the nerve to put on their cover "only $7.95!" as if it's so cheap). Tokyopop and others range from $10 to $12. I had to stop buying Yu Yu Hakusho, and i fear i may have to stop buying Kenshin because of car payments and rising gas prices! I wonder if anything can be done about that....probably not, they know we can't read hiragana and kanji (few of their readers, anyway), so they jack it up cuz they know we'll buy it. :auch:

I havne't seen the Cartoon Network version of Naruto (and never will if I can help it) but I've heard they censored it. CENSORED NARUTO??? NARUTO??? wtf. There was talk about there being "too much gore."

And OF COURSE they censored naruto! It's frikkin cartoon network! :okashii: Cussing taken out entirely, and blood taken out to the point of being ridiculous. For instance, Naruto's sexy no jutsu causes nose bleeds in the manga and anime...yet...THEY CUT OUT THE NOSE BLEEDS ON CARTOON NETWORK! It just shows a stream of white wooshes coming from the nose, and then when it's done the little tissues stuffed up the nostrils! It's ridiculous how much they take out! They show the sexy no jutsu yet they can't show a nose bleed?! WTF?! :auch: Oh and did i mention the actors who dubbed over the characters totally SUCK? Especially Naruto and Kakashi...

Well...Bleach is addicting...and coupled with my lack of a life, i get through anime pretty fast. Usually between 5 and 10 episodes a day. I just started watching Bleach this week, if you guys recall, and i just now finished episode 59.

Being an American, Bleach is <<not>> available here except for the Jump manga, which are really behind on the story... me, I can't wait until the cyberangels finish the english translation and fill the world with the latest (I guess) episode of Bleach.

I read the latest chapters of Naruto in Shonen Jump USA but find that I am really put out trying to associate the English voices with the animation. I don't think I would like a Bleach with voice-overs, either, I find the voices have grown on me. Ichi-GO!!!

Well, I guess the two of them can be compared to one another, since they both play with the idea of a supernatural, modern, edo-esque warrior theme (ninjas, in the case of Naruto, and samurais, in the case of Bleach) and they also are action-dramas.

Naruto is the neo-DBZ. For standard and beginner anime fans that really holds no meaning, but for people that have seen more than just Evangelion, and have seen several animes that is an insult. Naruto is repeatitive, and has obnoxious fillers all over. On top of that, when things get interesting, Naruto comes in and it no longer becomes attractive.

Is there a situation that doesn't boil down to Naruto? Yes, sure, point out that "Naruto" is the name of the show, but hell, from the moment a seemingly opponent is placed against Naruto you know that no matter how many times Naruto gets his *** kicked, the nine-tailed fox comes out, and he just beats the opponent. And that's that.

I started watching Naruto when it was around episode 25 or so, and dropped it after episode 120-ish after learning my lesson the hard way. Then again, as I explained before, amateurs that know no better can enjoy the show perfectly.

As far as Bleach goes, I'm up to 77, and I must say I fear for its future; I fear it might become the next Naruto. Right now the series is taking a deteour from what appeared to be the main plot that was really getting interesting, but I guess that's unavoidable.

Only time will tell.

bleach is good. i have watched from the beginning when i used to live in the UK. it has gotten a little poor recently though. i liked the stuff in SOul Society more than this current development. I want them to get hold of Aizen and have a huge battle! hopefully, well, probably, these "Bount's" should lead the way to Aizen. also, the guys in SOul Society seem to be researching something strange which could be interesting.

This is the same as Ninja Versus Samurai. We all know Samurai's kick ***. Sorry, but I just don't see much happening with the Naruto world other than the main storyline. I disliked all the filler episodes after Sasuke ran off with Orochimaru.

Now on the other hand, Bleach pulled off a good 20 episode filler arc between the Soul Society arc and the Vaizard/Arrancar arc. I loved it, can you say the same for lolnaruto?

I like bleach...i just saw all episodes until the most recent one like in a week....haha actually cuz of this thread....umm but naruto is way more enganging and creative, the first 80 or so episodes of naruto are great...there is amazing character development, plot twists etc, and besides the music in naruto is way more mixed and varied than in bleach... Bleach is a bit more predictable i mean first rukia is captive then orihime and ichi has to go to both worlds to save her and all that....although bleach has sm nice things as well i admit i like it but I think naruto has greater depth for sure and the plot connects more although recently is being dragged more and more but it feels as everything is connected....in bleach ur just waiting for the next sudden revelation like the thing with aizen, there is no foreshadowing...anyways so yeh i say naruto

The story is just dragging and dragging in both, unarguably.
You know, normally, to "give birth to a proper child", and not one with one hundred arms, and twenty heads on one leg, they should have finished Bleach after the Soul Society ar and Naruto after the Zabuza arc imo.
(Naruto would have been an incomplete failure, I know, but still in better shape then now)

I'm a fan of both the series but Bleach just tops it for me. I don't know exactly what it is about it but it has something that Naruto lacks.

The story is just dragging and dragging in both, unarguably.
You know, normally, to "give birth to a proper child", and not one with one hundred arms, and twenty heads on one leg, they should have finished Bleach after the Soul Society ar and Naruto after the Zabuza arc imo.
(Naruto would have been an incomplete failure, I know, but still in better shape then now)

At least for Bleach, Naruto definitely drags on far too much. But Bleach ending after the soul Society Arc? That doesnt make sense at all, Just leave that guy Aizen alone after he took the Hyougyoku? (or whatever its called :blush:)

I think most animes drag on too much for their own good, but that doesnt mean they are no good.

BLEACH by far Naruto is just a drama than a ninja's story it's nothing but flashback and fillers! if they want to flashback here and there it's fine but not everyone!!! make a preseries geez and i'm not going to say more cause I could go on for awhile. bleach pretty well stays with the plot and is fantasitic in it's story value!

btw just cause naruto is longer doesn't mean it has more action it has scenes that could hold ore action but instead they hold nothing but drama and hurts of the characters. bleach is short sadly but it has a point and it gets there and, my friend, it has more action where action is due. no stopping in the middle of a fight to discuss ones past for awhile no jitsu calling out just good old full contact fighting...

Naruto is the best !! I think Naruto's world is much richer much better constructed than Bleach. Besides, it's not just a succession of meaningless combats like Bleach, but actually has a good story, and deep insights sometimes.

I have to say I love Naruto. I have never watched the dubbed versions, i've watched every episode in Japanese, before it hit the states, and I am up to date on Shippuuden. I LOVE IT! The opening songs are awesome, and I always find myself jumping up and down waiting for the next episode to be released. It was one of the things that kept me sane through my last year of high school. ;)

So, I voted Naruto. I watched the dubbed Bleach for a very long time, and it just never drew me in like Naruto. I just love Naruto, he's always got tricks and awesome new powers up his sleeve. :)

Bleach. I love Bleach. I've been watching it every week that it's come out since it first aired years ago and I watch the Sub pretty much the day after it airs in Japan every week. I only saw a few episodes of Naruto with my Step brother before when i was visiting my dad's house and it was the dubbed version and i hated it with every fiber in my body..but maybe i should give the japanese version a try.

I agree. I haven't watched both in a long time but I watched Bleach till episode 50-something. Naruto's characters were better developed so that when a fight came on i actually cared whose *** got kicked.
