I've seen too many horror movies O.O

Okay, my brother taped a football game last night and he's watching it right now. But every time he plays the tape (he pauses and unpauses a lot) it makes the creepy screetching sounds from the Ringu movies and it's scaring me!! And it does not help that I am on Day 4 (yes, everytime I watch a Ring/Ringu movie I count the days after I watch it 'til I get to seven). This is a sure sign that I have seen far too many horror movies...*tape makes screetching noise* AGH!!! :shock: *hides under computer desk* Please, Sada-chan, don't kill me! Onegai!

So, um, yeah, this is a thread for talking about the lasting effects horror films can have on one's brain. *checks on the reflective surfaces in the room*

Actually I didn't find the Ring movies very Scaring, but I guess that depends on the different taste in horror. By the way I need you number and a PM everytime you watch the ring movies from now on... Then I can have fun by calling you and making cool noices and something when the 7th day comes.

I like the Ring/Ringu films but you have to watch them a lot to get lasting brain damage like me. They slowly get under your skin and drive you INSANE!!! *says this as she gets her hair wet, straightens it, and gets it all in her face*

Yeah I guess so... I only seen each of the japanese versions once. I didn't really like them. Too boring and too long. though the final scene in each of the movies was great...

I have also watched far too much horror. I think I am already insane, since I jump everytime I hear some weird noises or see something that looks scary, and I think I see that all the time XD Ah, I couldn't sleep with my blanket on for about two weeks after I saw The Grudge, and after watching The Ring, I had to turn my TV around so I couldn't see any reflections from it :D And the worst part is, that my boyfriend used to call me and say nothing but make those Grudge-voices, you know. x___x; Ah. /me is paranoid.

Chakushin Ari are great... The best horror movie I've seen.

And its true. If you got so excited about The Grudge and the Ring, You might aswell just cancel your mobile before you see Chakushin Ari :D, Trust me.

Kairo is one I wanna see...yeah, so if I disappeare offline it doesn't mean I don't love you guys it just means I watched Kairo and am terrified to get online. :-)

I couldn't turn my TV around after watching a Ring(u) movie. I preffer to KNOW when spirits are in my room. *checks all the reflective surfaces in the room* I'd be even MORE paranoid if I couldn't see my reflection in SOMETHING, especially the TV.

The last aprt was my motive as I searched all over for a dvd version.. Currently it was almost near impossible in Denmark without paying as much money as for a brand new dvd title. So I kinda dropped the thing but I'm laying lwo and awaiting my chance for getting the movie with that scene :blush:

@ Da monstar: Have you tried ebay for them? That's where I got mine. In fact it was the two TV movies and the two films all for around 25GBP. Not a bad price really, as they had to come from HK.

I read somewhere on the internet that it is real easy riscing getiing the normal Juon: the grudge instead of Juon the Curse when you bought them off Ebay... So far I just wait for my chance to buy it full price.

yeah well, ringu was amazing ringu 2 was equeally good I was watching them by my self and it didnt kick in till 2 days later started jumpin everytime my phone rang then I picked it up and a voice said 7 days) its was my mum =( now thats evil lol

Well, I made it post Day 7 and I'm still breathing!
And that tends to happen with the Ring/Ringu movies. It often doesn't kick it for awhile.

but i do agree....the ring/ringu movies are rather frightening, and they cause me severe mental disorientation, and yet i continue to watch the....

Da Monstar, you can actually rent that dvd at Blockbusters in Denmark (Copenhagen).....I know I did....worth it!

Yup.
I've seen they have both of the old ones at the local Movie Renter. I'm been thinking about renting them, But it won't be the same... Besides I think 35dkr. for borrowing a DVD one night is pretty spicy... If only I took those prices from my friends I could stop working and be rich by that now :D
