Do you have a favourite iconic scene from a film or even a TV series? Some scenes are instantly recognisable such as Slim Pickens riding the bomb in Dr. Strangelove, "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" from Gone With the Wind. Others are more known by movie fans such as the Infamous lighthouse scene in Battle Royale, the torture scene in Audition or the boiling bunny in Fatal Attraction. It could be from old films or new films. How about the Jedi fight in The Phantom Menace with Darth Maul, Obi Wan and Qui Gon, the 20 minute fight scene in the new King Kong or the vast battles in The Lord of the Rings?
My personnal favourite is the death scene from Blade Runner with Rutger Hauer and Harrison Ford.
Others are:
The Dalek revealed in the new Dr. Who
Yoda and Count Dooku fight - Get to see the muppet fight
Deserted London in 28 Days later
The rabbit fight in The Holy Grail
Doing lines in The Life of Brian -"People called Rome, they go to the House", "It says 'Romans go home'", "No, it doesn't" Remember all those language classes from school

Rocky II, The ending. Just after he has KO'ed Apollo Creed and yells "I DID IT!!!"... the best ending for a movie ever. really emotional.

From Excalibur: Arthur tells his aide/brother (?) to call for his knights. His aide calls for the knights and guards then the movie cuts to Arthur leading his armored knights through blossoming trees to Carmina Bruna.

the other scene I like is from Reversal of Fortune. Klaus von Bulow is getting in his limo and Alan Dershowitz calls him a strange man. von Bulow responds with "You have no idea". When he says that, there's a shadow over his eyes which makes the whole scene chilling.

the scene in "When Harry Met Sally" ; they're in the resturant and she shows him how a woman can fake an orgasm. The old lady at the next table tells the waiter she'll have what Sally just had.

1) Moses parting the Red Sea so the Israelites can flee from Pharoah's soldiers in The Ten Commandments. For a movie made in 1956 without the benefit of CGI, that remains one of the most incredible special effects scenes ever.

2) Dirty Harry pointing his big ass .44 magnum at a robber in Sudden Impact and growling that now legendary line: "Go ahead, make my day."

3) The aliens from Independence Day blowing up the White House. I remember people in the theater cheering during that scene!

4) Sharon Stone seductively crossing her legs (while sans underwear) from Basic Instinct. Hubba hubba!
