I saw MOON CHILD last Tuesday.

VERY VERY exciteing movie it was.
HYDE was so cute as if he was a boy,
he looked an amrit, ageless.
and he performed Kei perfectly, no one can act like him,
HYDE cut out for Kei,He did a GOOD JOB!

and Gackt(co-writer,co-star) too.
He was also cute,he laughed,sulked,cried and spoke Chinese fluently,also spoke some English.
I'd never seen such Gackt,it seemed he enjoyed acting as Syo.

this September 25!!
and they accept our reservation from June 15.
If you're European,you can see the DVD by your PC's DVD drive.because Japan and Europe use same Region code(Region 2)
but if you're in other countries,you need a multi-region DVD player or a region-free DVD player.

YAY! I went to laruku`s concert in shibuya yesterday! It was fantastic. Hyde was so close, he came up into the audience. Unfortunatly they wouldn`t let me take my camera in. but it was great anyway!

The pictures I've seen from Moon Child are great. Gackt is such a hottie! And call me stupid, but I didn't know who Hyde was before... But I can't wait until I can probably get the movie ^.^ I'd get it in a hearbeat! The trailers were awesone, Gackt looks so hot with a gun ^.^

I bought the photobook of hyde and gackt from moonchild in shibuya. i think it was about 3,000 yen. hyde and gackt both have blonde hair and blue contact lenses, but gackt`s don`t look natural becoz they have a black outline around them. the pictures are great though! hyde looks like an innocent child, and there`s a hottie of him in leather!
there`s also one of gackt giving hyde a piggyback. they looked like they had great fun together!
unfortunatly my suitcase is already full now, i`ve only been in japan for 2 weeks! but it was already at it`s "airport allowed weight" before i brought it, so now it must be well over the limit! so i will have to mail stuff home, or just dump stuff that don`t matter so much to me, like bottles of shampoo or something.
I`m going to try and pre-order the movie on dvd. as it`s not out until september but i`m coming back from japan before that.
i`m going to finish here as i`ve already written too much.

have you heard of new jpop boyband Flame? very young, but they reckon the twins resemble younger versions of hyde and gackt. not completely sure about it myself, i reckon they both look like each other but with different hairstyles, to tell them apart.

I watched Moonchild tonight! It is very good movie! And for those of you who were worrying about not being able to understand the Japanese version, - the Japanese version comes with English subtitles. (the dialogue is in both japanese and cantonese, and also a little english is spoken too.) The other 2 discs contain, press interviews with the actors, behind the scenes, deleted scenes, soundtrack, and many more.
The movie itself, is lots of action, emotion, (& too hotties playing the central characters) :valentine
some scenes will make you laugh, :D others will make you cry- :bawling: (ok, I didn't cry, but my sister did when Gackt was crying) this film will really stir up emotions in you!
I urge you all to try and get hold of a copy of this movie! I guarentee you'll love it!!! :love:

Which bit didn't you understand? If you explain what you are seeing, then I'll tell you what they are doing, or why they are doing it.

Also which version did you see? Becuase the Japanese version comes with both japanese and english subtitles, becuase some of the dialogue is in cantonese.

yes, you got it correct. After Sho got shot, Kei turned him into a vampire to keep him alive, becuase he didn't want to lose his best friend again. But then Sho couldn't cope with what he had become, and so went into hiding for a while, so Kei brought up Sho's daughter Hana. And when she restored her mother's painting in the park, Sho turned up, but he didn't want his daughter to see him, so he waited until she had gone and then showed himself to Kei. Hana was going off to college the next morning, but she knew that Kei wouldn't be able to see her off in the daylight, so she said her goodbye to him that night, and she thanked him for all he had done for her. Then Sho and Kei drove off to the beach, and sat in the car until the sun rose, so of course dissolved in the sunlight. Then their ghosts were re-united with their friends, and they reinacted that night on the beach years ago, but this time they could do it in daylight. (The 2nd & 3rd time I watched the film, I cried.)

I was so excited to learn that this movie had been picked up by a US distributor. When I was in Japan, I wanted to buy the movie, but wasn't spending $75 on it. Sadly, the US version was only mixed in Dolby 2.0 where as the Japan release had a more robust sound selection available. Not only that, the cover chosen for the US edition was the silliest thing I'd ever seen. Had nothing to really do with the overall feel of the movie.

Here's hoping a region 3 version comes out. Or a cheaper second run in Japan.

There is also a box set of "Kagen" containing 3 DVD with movie and extra features. Also comes with VHS of "Evil Eye" Hyde`s character`s group in the movie. Oh, also there is a line in this movie where the children are watching Evil Eye`s video and Hyde speaks in English, coz his character "Adam" is an English musician who was taught to speak Japanese by his Japanese girlfriend.
This box set however is 9,240 Yen.
I really want it!!! I am gonna ask if my friends are willing to pitch in a bit for my birthday in May.

I love Moon Child. My favorite movie. I bought it on Ebay and I had to wait 2 weeks but boy was it worth it! Why wouldn't I love it? It has Gackt in it and he's my favorite singer. Yay! It had it's funny parts in it too. *giggle* I almost cried when ackt was dying...It was so sad.

MoonChild? It` was released on DVD in Japan September 2003, and in USA I think sometime before Christmas 2004.
Also, Kagen no Tsuki was released on DVD in Japan February 26 2005.
I wanna get the 3 dvd special box set - with Hyde`s video, but I can`t afford the 9,500 yen at the moment. (T_T)
