Which is your favourite and why? Having finally bought and watched the original Bubblegum Crisis I find that I prefer the newer Bubblegum Crisis:2040.
I find the story better and the fact there is an underlying thread throughout the entire series made it a much better series to watch. I also found the characters more rounded and with more depth to them. The original was alright, but there wasn't much to each person. Storywise they were good and strong, but I felt that especially Nene and Linna were shortchanged.

I decided on the original, probably only because I have not seen much of the latter, hehe.

I have watched BGC:2040. I have really enjoyed it. Havent watched the original one but as much as i see from the picture those "Ranma Style Hairs" kinda look bad to me. I think 2040 has a greater art than first one. However cant compare their stories.
ps. priss

I've only seen Tokyo 2040, so I can't compare the two. One of these days, I'll have to check out the original and see what it was like.

There is assistant story "ADPolice" of "Bubblegum Crisis".
The police of "Bubblegum Crisis" were very weak.
However, the AD police of an assistant story was cool.
However, the police dying at their post so in great numbers are unpleasant.
My liking it
It is "AD POLICE 3:00 The Man Who Bites His Tongue".

Managed to get the original from a site in the UK called Play.com. Recently bought Bubblegum Crash to go with the others.
Thanks for the links Hiroyuki:cool:
