I was just wondering wether anyone knows of any japanese ghost storys, or spooky superstitions, myths or legends? If so, i'd really like it if you can share it with us/me :cool: .

"百物語(hundred stories)"
The "hundred stories" is a group storytelling game played at night. One hundred candles and as each story is told a candle is put out. It was said that a ghost would appear when all the candles were out and it was completely dark (definition from the Kojoen)

I don't know many but Ugetsu Monogatari is deifnitely worth reading. Here's a link for scans from the original but it might be a more practical to get the English translation ^^; (Ueda Akinari: Ugetsu Monogatari/ Tales of Moonlight and Rain)
