This is a true story about a internet contact who lives and studies in Japan. A week ago he and a friend (a japanese girl) had been out, to a night club for some fun. Late on the night, they was hedding home, when a man, probably 40+ walks kinda near him so he ask him to move a little (I know! he shouldn't had done that) then the man starts yelling at him what an idiot my friend is, that have the guts to come to his country and trespass. He reach his pocket and when he takes out his hand, he holds a gun.

So my friend starts to think on diffrent ways to just jump on him but you get back to earth kinda fast and realize that it isn't a action movie, this is reality.

His japanese girlfriend tried to translate and when i didn't get it all, the man got even angrier and tries to grab her. My friend then gets between them and starts apologies, whatever it takes to just get out of this situation alive and so that no one gets hurt. When he turns around, my friend and his friend starts running to a taxi, and gets away safe and sound, in one piece.

So he talked to his school about this and they said it could be a guy from the Yakuza, but its not 100 %.

A lot of people asume that japanese guys with guns or samurai swords and similar stuff who do violent acts are fom the yakuza, the vast majority of the time they are not. The yakuza have far better things to do with their time than jumping on innocent couples with guns, people who do that are just thugs, and yakuza most often don't like to be associated with stupid, bog-standard thugs- apparently most yakuza now days just delve into making money from buisness, they would do bad (and be stupid) to attract attention like the incident in your story from the police.
Speaking of which, do you/your friend contact the police about this incident? Gun crime is a pretty bad thing u'know.

Oh yes! They only speculated but it's true that the Yakuza isn't really into that stuff, more into earning money in buisness. And yes! He and his school has been in contact with the police and so.
