I have seen three of them: "Nana", "Moon child" and "Kagen no Tsuki"(Last quarter). And I liked all of them, so now i looking forward to other movies. :hey:
I`m really exciting in your opinion! :-)
1 Litre of Tears.
It's 11 episodes long and based on a true story. You can watch the whole series on Youtube.

Kimi wa Petto (http://wiki.theppn.org/Kimi_wa_Petto)
Gokusen (http://wiki.theppn.org/Gokusen)
Yamato Nadeshiko (http://www.spcnet.tv/japan_yamato.shtml)
Densha Otoko (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Densha_otoko)
...all of those I think are pretty good.
ed: This thread should probably be moved out of Jpop too...

Are you referring to J-music related dramas or just Japanese dramas/movies in general?
I'm just asking because the things you listed so far are all J-music, well Hyde really, related.

Well... Moon Child I was watching only because of Gackt, but i really liked it, and there I noticed HYDE  .... I have found out about j-rock only for one month. That`s why I wanted to see movies with J-music artists/bands.
But now there`s no sense in that so much, so I would like to see J-movies in general  :-)

Unless its a movie you won't have that many JRockers in it. And you can say that it can slightly be in the JPOP forum considering that a good portion of Johnny's members act in JDramas. Others to try besides those that Yukio Micheal mentioned is:
GTO-Great Teacher Onizuka which is very simular to Gokusen except that its a male teacher.
Hana Yori Dango is a really cute Shoujo Drama
Nobuta no Produce
Also if you want to try Tawainese Dramas
Mars
Meteor Garden which is nothing but the Taiwanese version of Hana Yori Dango.
Peach Girl

this isn't much of that drama..but try Oresama, w/ miyavi...who wouldn't love that? lol
Oresama's pure fanservice though. No offence (cuz I enjoyed it myself) but most of the actors sucked horribly, the plot was weak, the whole thing was extremely low budget.
Miyavi does get to flash his muscles and do a mini live thing though. That's what matters right? =P
@Sugargirl: how're you finding 1 Litre of Tears? I was crying by episode 3... my friend cried after about 15mins into the series though.
ohh j-music related, try -

1 Litre of Tears is especially worth watching. I have seen it twice now (got it on DVD :-) )
Ai no Uta is also worth a watch.
Currently I am watching Gal Circle, 4th episode is available now on d-addicts.com. Its more of a fun Dorama featuring Mari Yaguchi with a small role

Hey I just finished Nobuta wo Produce and 1 Litre of tears.. both were really really good. Does anyone else know of any dramas (comedy preferred but I also love sad stories) that aren't too long? The 11 or 10 episode thing is awesome because I get addicted to dramas easily and stay up all night to finish them.

I havn't watched a lot of J-drama's yet, but it is becoming a hobby of mine, I really love it!!
Anyways, One Litre of Tears if pretty good indeed. I love the two theme songs by Remioromen!!
Has anyone mentioned Desha Otoko yet? I really loved that one.. I just finished watching Hana yori Dango, and I'm gonna start watching Itoshi Kimi E.. Just because it is situated in Nagasaki, I love that city for several reasons.. I hope it's good though!! (笑)

I've enjoyed the recent KINDAICHI and YOUNG KINDAICHI episodes that I've seen.
I've also only just discovered SUKEBAN DEKA (from the 1980's) which is very funny, though I think it's supposed to be serious.

A long long time ago there was a Drama called Bokura no Yuuki (僕らの勇気) that has stayed in my mind even since I watched it. I liked it, but I don't know how anyone will get their hands on it outside of Japan, lol.
