I have heard from various sources that Japanese archers had different types of arrows for different class of people ie: a nobles arrow to kill nobles with, a commoner arrow to commoners with.
1. Is it true?
2. If so, can anyone recommend anywhere I can find pictures and info on them?
3. If not, is there still anywhere I can find information on different types of Japanese arrows, as I know some of them could be quite elegant?
Thanks

There are many schools like Karate, Kendo or other martial arts.
Check out the site of Ogasawara-ryu (http://www.ogasawara-ryu.gr.jp/english/index.html).
You can find horseback archery events in Japan. I heard it is hard for archers to show their skill well, for horses now are bigger and faster than native horses in the past.

It may be interesting who was the most skillful archer in history, probably the British Yeoman?
