Need help deciding on something.

I'm making something with elemental Kanji on it. Actually, all of the them will be:

Heaven
sun
moon
fire
water
wood
metal
earth (ground/soil)
electricity
air/wind
human
mind/heart/spirit
Earth (planet)

But for the wind element, I'm not sure which to use. There's two I have, but I can't decide which. Can someone help? Which would fit best for this category?

Both of them are right! If you want the air element, it is Kuu. And if you want the wind element, it is Fuu.

I can't decide! Don't both Kanji mean sky AND air? I'm sure if I could speak/read PERFECT Japanese, this decision would be easier...

I don't believe the one on the right encompasses any meaning of "sky" -- it has two basic meanings which are "wind/breeze" and "style/manner". Whereas the other has the basic meanings of "empty" and "sky". Although it's a component of the word "air", by itself it doesn't have this connotation afaik.

i say Fuu since wind is more of a force, while air (Kuu) just kinda sits there. but i guess that all depends on which youre trying to emphasize in the "thing that your making"

If you want to the wind element in Japanese, I think the Fuu is proper. Because Kuu has Buddhistic tinged.
Fuu means wind, but Kuu means space in the strict sense of the word. This word Kuu has various meanings, sky, hollow, empty, air, space, wasteful and etc...
I think that Japanese Kuu is special word to the Japanese and value of this word is different from Western word Sky(air).

And usually "Air master" and "Wind master" is translated "Kazethukai" but not "Soratsukai" in Japanese.:D
