Hi All:
Here in the USA we have a number of top ten movie lists. Some of the movies listed are "Casablanca" -"Gone With The Wind"- " North By Northwest"
"Citizen Kane" and a few other classics.
What are the best ten movies EVER MADE in Japan? Anyone have any opinions?

Why would you list a bunch of television programs when the thread was clearly about movies? You just sort of just vomited out a list of movies and doramas... For example, nobody (except maybe it's demographic) would think that Nana was a particularly noteworthy part of Japan's cinema, let alone being a noteworthy part of titles which simply capitalized on an already popular franchise (which by and large, was also rather poor)...
In Japan, the ONLY way to judge success is by profits, but it's sort of useless when you want to talk about artistic merit.
