How do you read eyes to tell if someones got water in them and stuff like that like Memoirs of a Geisha? It sounds very interesting and I would love to be able to do it. Also is it a Japanese tradition within Geisha?

When I saw the title I was going to say I can read my girlfriends eyes and tell when shes hiding something or is sad despite the lovely smile. Want to explain the water thing for us?

When they look at Sayuri's eyes they say 'you have water in you' and stuf like that. I was wondering if anyone new how to do it.

write a bad movie script? Apparently this movie was easily forgettable, since I don't remember this scene at all. Are you talking about being able to tell when someone has been crying?

I could tell you without looking that there is water in you, since the human body is more than 70% water.

Well, she has blue eyes and Japanese people have dark eyes, and that's why people said that she has water in her eyes. That's all...

I'm starting to get the impression that Memoirs of a Geisha was about as well-researched as The DaVinci Code. Which is to say, poorly researched.
