Dear Admin/Mod-sama,

Today, I came up with another question. Sorry to bother you but I'd appreciate it if you could clue me in.
Well, i got this error message below while trying to follow a certan link in a "reply notification" mail.

vBulletin Message said:
"Invalid Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator (http://www.jref.com/contact/)."

I couldn't find the thread myself neither in my "Subscribed Threads" or in "view your post" results.

What might this mean? Is it like the thread was removed? or deleted?
I read those "Deletion of Threads or Posts" rules, but I'm not sure if that rule is applicable to that thread...
If it has been removed, how can I find it? I tried to "search" but I got 500 results and gave up looking...

If you have any idea why this happened, or how to find the thread, could you please share with me?

Meantime, it is not like I care much, but i'm just wondering if a thread has been deleted, would it also affect poster's post count?

Thank you in advance for your help.

If you get that message, the thread has been removed most likely. Could you give me a link? I can check if it is indeed removed or not :)

Thank you for your quick reply, RockLee-sama.
Oh, so that is. Okay, I understand.

In case you want to be sure, here's the thread information.

Thread title: ~~~movie Time~~~
URL: http://www.jref.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24456

It used to be in "Chit Chat & Miscellaneous" forum.

Thank you again for your help.

Ayayaya, somebody deleted it because it was spam? Anyways, I've reopened it :) Doesn't look like spam to me :)

I've gotten that same message occasionally in the past also and assumed it was a random error or I had gotten timed out or something. Anyway, it was for some reason other than the thread had been deleted and when I opened the thread again and retried a few minutes later in these cases, the submit has always gone through normally.

Oh, thank you so much, RockLee-sama!
Good to have it back(I believe).

I wasn't sure if it was deleted on purpose or not, as I've watched the video myself...

Anyway, thank you again for your help.

I think I've gotten that error due to time-outs before. Not sure exactly why it happened, but I guess it's best to click the "remember me" box even if it's a public computer and then log out at the end if necessary.

However this situation seems to have been a different matter.

Most of the time the thread is deleted when that happens :)
