Most of the singers nowadays are just products. Same pop singers, rock etc. And I don't think koda is worthless. She has a great voice and I don't think that you should judge singer by the way he/she looks or by image that creates company.

I cannot agree more. But there are many people that do. Seriously, Koda Kumi's singing skill isn't all that amazing, so there must be a lot of people buying her music for her looks.

can't believe I couldn't find a kuu thread. So as the name states, anyone like her. just a little info. she released 4 full length albums (affection, grow into one, feel my mind, secret) + 2 bests. Best ~first things~ Best~second session~. in 2005/2006 she began a project that would later be known as the 12 single project where she released a single every week for 12 weeks from Nov (i believe) or Dec - Mar. (can't really remember) which would be included in the Best~ second session~. After the release of B~SS~ she released koi no tsubomi which would go to the 2nd position. 4 Hot wave which contained 4 A-side tracks (JUICY, With Your Smile, I'll be there, ningyo hime) ranging from hip hop to pop to rock. this was said to go to number 1 due to the content but KinKi Kids over threw 4HW giving it the 2nd position yet again. YUme no uta/futari de... was released months after as a 2 story ballad. same melody, different arrangements and different lyrics. I believe this single went to #1 not sure. anyways, as of now we know that december 5, she will be releasing her final single for the year cherry girl/unmei where cherry girl is to be an up tempo song and unmei (fate) to be a powerful ballad. december 20th will see the release of her long awaited 5th full length album "Black Cherry" released in 3 formats CD+2DVD,CD+DVD, and CD only. No doubt that this album will go on to sell a substantial amount of copies.

You're absoluetly right! Rhythm Zone is more urban sub label under Avex. In a interview she confessed that she is very into Christina Aguilera, Mya, and Mary J. Blige and it truly shows on some of her filler tracks like Your Song, Pearl Moon, S.O.S

I agree with you, it was Koda Kumi who introduced me to the fabulous world of JPOP, all thanks to her hit song, Real Emotion, which was on a preview for FF X-2. I always caught myself clapping along with the crowd as if I was one of the NPC's, front and center, in the concert at the very beginning of the game when Yuna ?, Rikku, and my dream girl Paine were being introduced in FFX-2. I wonder do you get that chill that goes up and down your spine whenever you listen to your favorite song? I imported the game with the single. Real Emotion was in heavy rotation then, and I look forward to listening to it now.
