This has to be one of the most relaxing movies I ever watched. It (Ghost Dog: The way of the Samurai,) was released in 2000 or 2001 and yeah it's like ghetto meets Samurai meets RZA beats meets "hello, blockbuster, why do you have this in stock?" It should be out of stock 24/7, it was way more entertaining than Last Samurai and after watching it (Ghost Dog) I pretty much cried for 20 - 30 minutes for the first time in years.

Hm. I remember it wasn't that bad.. Have to see it again to know for sure what it was all about.. Ow, it used lines from the book "Hagakure" right?..

I watched it because it was made by one of my favorite directors.
It had some funny moments like one of the old men said "F#$k, I couldn't write so small!" when he was sending a message on a tiny post-it to be delivered by a pigeon, but for the most part, I thought it was kind of lame.

i saw the movie. it was good that he follows the way of the samurai.
but the only good thing of the movie was that the french guy and Ghostdog always says the same only the frenchy understands it at the end of the movie
nice movie, but it was better if it was called Gdog: story of a ghost
