Hello you guys!

I read somewhere that the Japanese believe that if you save somebody's life, you become responsible for them. Then I read this was a Chinese belief. Which is which? Is it even true?

Thanks for the time!

I have no idea.

I would like to say though that many people on this forum have a problem with the word/abbreviation "Jap (http://www.jref.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24910)". You might want to think twice before using that word again.

No, it's not true. I should say mothers and fathers may think so.
