I've had Sebor brand from Europe and was quite impressed. I'm curious to find/try what Absinthe is available here in Japan. In a little local bar I was told they had a bottle with a high thujone content, is this the case for most brands sold here?
What brands are there here? Where is Absinthe commonly sold? I've had a hard time finding it. (I'm in southern Tokyo)
Your comments/experiences are welcome.. thanks.

I'm not familiar with absinthe as far as thujone and brand, but I have seen it around. I live in Hiroshima by the way. There is a liquor store right next to the school where I work and they offer two or three varieties. Next time I go in there for some umeshuu or sake I will take a look and let you know. As far as where you can buy it, I would imagine most liquor stores. Have you checked Yamaya?

Have a poke around the liquor stores - they should have it. Failing that try the Nissin Supermarket (3rd Floor) in Azubu-Juban. If you take the subway and get off, head away from Roppongi Hills you should find the place - wide variety of spirits, liquers, beers and wine at decent prices. I normally go there before a party or quiet romantic dinner at home :)
