Nice thread. ^^

Yay, quite a lot of people seem to like Maiden. xD Has anyone bought their new album A Matter of Life and Death? Will anyone of you go and see them on their upcoming tour?
I haven't gotten the album in my mailbox yet, sadly.
I'll see them here in Sweden, Stockholm. 2nd night in Globen, November the 18th.

Anchyyy: I love Pink Floyd! <3 Have you watched The Wall? Masterpiece in my opinion. I think it's kinda difficult to understand at times, but I love the way you have to think for yourself and get your own grip of what you see and hear and not get everything served on a silver plate in front of you.
By the way, as you might've noticed the Pulse live DVD was released quite recently. It's awesome... I love it. Comfortably Numb is by no doubt THE highlight. Most amazing live version of any song I've ever heard. Even when only hearing the audio version it left me completely speechless. But after actually watching the 9-10 minute masterpiece performance... Oh dear. And the stage effects, lighting, whatever it may be is beautiful.

And I see that you, Anchyyy, listen to some black metal. Nice. ^^ I've heard a little Keep of Kalessin and Satyricon. Not really my cup of tea but certainly not bad.

Here's my list:
A Perfect Circle
Aerosmith
Amorphis
Bruce Dickinson
Deep Purple
Dia Psalma
Disturbed
Dream Theater
Enya
Finntroll

Rammstein
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Slade

I heard that Nightwish are recording a new album! With the new singer, who isn't known yet. I wonder who is it :?oh so they got a new singer... awesome. will be interesting to hear.

I got my copy of A matter of life and death (Iron Maiden) today. I just finished listening to it. What an amazing album. Though it's not like a Maiden classic, it's something different. A lot more serious than their previous work imo. They've always been dead serious about what they've been doing but this really hits the top.
The lyrics are incredible. It's mainly war, religion, humanity, life and death... Things you need to keep in mind and things that are worth to think about for a little more than just once or twice.
Bruce is in top form... Can't believe the man is 48 years old!
This album is packed with melodies (as always from Maiden), guitar solos in the three amigos style, beautiful basslines, beat changes and what I call perfection. A must have in my opinion. It might take a little time to grow on you because it's far from an easy-listened album. It takes time and that time is certainly worth it.
