Just because he's joinin the band doesn't mean he'll stop his solo career surely? He might for a bit to concentrate on getting the band established but I'm sure he'll go back to it eventually. I don't think Gackt will soley give up his solo carreer either... although it would explain the dates on his grave stone on the Sixth Day and Seventh Night tour... but it's doubtful that they have had this planned for that long!

He was doing Are you Ready to Rock and my friend said I should see it because 'his guitar skills are amazing!' I watched and she asked if I thought he was hot. At the time, I said no. One of my main criticisms on his music is that there's no focus; it's just chaos.)
5) The guy's crazy, wacky and cute (which is probably why he's so popular); he just doesn't have that much going for him music-wise.

If you guys are looking for cheap music/dvd's I've know the best place. It's called all anime dvd and you can get some awesome stuff for dirt cheap. For example, you guys know of Gackt's Platinum boxes? The limited edition sets he releases every year around christmas that cost about 60 usd, well at all anime dvd you can get them for like 11.99!! Pretty much all cd's run at 7.99 and almost all dvd's run at 11.99, it's insane, I spent like 50 dollars there one time and had I bought at like yesasia, or cdjapan, I would've spent well over 100 usd, like close to 120 or more, they have such good prices. it's www.allanimedvd.com and just go down the side until you see jpop and they've got tons. I really cant believe there prices. They're legit too, I've ordered from them twice without any problems. Go check it out, seriously! They've got Gackt, Hyde, Miyavi, Alice Nine, Gazette, Hide, and much more! Another great example, especially for meev fans, they've got Miyavi's Hitorigei 3 currently running about $40 dollars on cdjapan, for $11.99! Now they arent as up to date as cd japan, they dont get stuff in as quickly, but they do have tons of stuff old and new.

I remember that was the first miyavi song I ever heard and back then all he ever did was rock, he never sang like in kimi ni negai wo or itoshi hito and I heard him singing in this song and loved it but there wasnt anything else like that so I was so sad but then I fell in love with his rock and then he released MYV Pops and Miyavuta Dokuso which I fell in love with so I like all his music lol

It's crazy how much his overall singing and english has improved since then, I'd love to see him re-record it

The Refrain is what we are used of miyavi. Really his style. But it are just parts I think the hip-hop really ruins it in my view.

He's clearly getting these painted on. It's not like that's hard to do! Visual Kei artists have things like that done ALL the time.

I'm very excited about this change in Meev's career. Even though I'm not quite digging his outfits... His new song, Sakihokoru Hana no You ni, is amazing. It's still his whack style that we all love, but you can tell his stay in LA has influenced him. In ways I feel like this is a make or break stage in Miyavi's career. He's been kind of floating around, but I think he's really finding a good structure to base himself around. I think this could really be a big turning point for him. =3

I like every style of Miyavi's. Each one is another side of him, you know? I liked his acoustic because it was different from the generic rock and pop music he was doing. I don't think we'd have this current twist he's taken had he not gone on the "Dokusou" road. =P

I just got the full single. It's friggin' awesome. We've all heard Saki by now. I absolutely adore Kabuki danshi. The pounding beat really gets you moving. Then the single (the regular edition, that is) finishes off with a remake of his Shoukyo to Sakujyo. Oh my <3 I highly encourage all of you to listen to the original before hearing this one. Listening to how much he's improved is phenomenal.
I definitely recommend this single.

I've heard people say that, but on Miyavi's website it's listed as KABUKI BOIZ

and to top it off, one of the lines in the lyrics is "were kabuki boys"
It's both.

Danshi means boy. So when they romanized it, they played it up with their hip hop style and made it "boiz".
(On his Japanese site it's written in Japanese, on his English site it's written in romaji.)

:D I love Miyavi's boots! He has the most unique fashion sense but he seems to be one of the only people who can pull it off as well as he can, it's part of his essance.

Gotta love the meevs.

the more I listen to sakihokoru hana no youni the more I love it! To me it doesnt seem hip-hoppish at all it's just meev's, especially the chorus. Kabuki Boiz/Danshi took me a little bit longer to like because of the rapping, but I like that one now too, not as much as the first one, but I enjoy it, they both just make me wanna get up and start dancing and playing my guitar lol.

I like that about him as an artist, a lot of solo artists and groups get into a sort of groove and sometimes they get a little scared to try new things...but with Miyavi its almost like he sort of goes out of his way to be different- as if that wasn't clear enough :blush:.
