What the schmee is a double eyelid?? Ohh, is that that thing where they get the crease made more obvious and it makes their eyes bigger?
I actually read somewhere that doing that you can't cover your eyes while they adjust to it or they focus differently, so if he did get that surgery combine it with his fringe and it could explain his lazy eye..

Haha, I dont know :p. All the glue does is simply hold the crease in place until you wash it off, i guess, but surgery entails some pretty nasty side effects like swelling and pain. I think he may have got laser hair removal, i mean, he looks so clean...

Personally I like to think meeves was born as good as he is, and none of you will change my mind without like, video footage of the surgery taking place. =P

I believe Miyavi had undergo eye lid surgery.Because when he was young (18yrs old) he was once single eye lid^.^ And to me eye lid surgery very common.I can say not only J-rockers went for that surgery.It's like most of the Asian went for eye lid surgery.Most of my Asian friends went for eye lid surgery. :p

LOL-Miyavi can't be 50.Cause he did not hide anything with plastic surgery on his face.Miyavi's double eye lids are fine.So sorry to say ...cause i feel Gackt has too many plastic surgery on his face and his nose.Sometimes Gackt looks like a displayable toy >.<.

They're trying to get 2,000 votes for him to come to New York City for his World Tour. I think it's to convince PSC he has fans here. There's a note on the poll for people in other locations, but I still wish he'd come to California... Anyway, it looks like they're about 1400 votes... there's a week left on the poll if you guys want to vote! It's on the right side of his artist's page on the JRR site. @ Kirie Maiden: Hm.. really good songs... hi no hikari sae todokanai kono basho de (that title is far too long..), itoshi hito and kimi ni negai wo are some of my fave pretty ones.. then his newer stuff like what a wonderful world and kabuki danshi are always good, or ku ku ru, shindemo boogie woogie for classic older ones or... god theres too many, I can't narrow it down! If you want to buy an album I'd say usual sites like www.yesasia.com or www.cdjapan.co.jp are your best bet =)

@ jellyfish: born in 1981 means he's 27 this year, but not until 14th September, so he is still 26 at the moment

I can't wait for the new album. It's gonna sound so amazing. I think he's developing more as an artist as the albums go on, which may seem like an obvious comment.

I agree with him being more serious now, but some put on a serious persona in some things and are just as goofy in real life. Look at Gackt. He's really serious in interviews sometimes but he's a total geek (if you've seen the Dress Up video) and I think Miyavi might be the same.

I think I´m kind of lucky, ´cause my older sister that lives in Switzerland is a Miyavi fan too and even my 10 years old nice likes Miyavi´s songs ´cause I´m always listen to them( my neighbours probably think I´m crazy), but beside the internet I miss to meet personally people how like J-rock, we have so few J-rock events around here in Brazil. Haha... My mother bought me a course in the Japanese Language presumably to shut me up. Not gonna work though. When I learn Japanese... I'll still listen to the songs. The difference is, I'll understand them! Hahaha.

@Somenti; well, not three different -languages-, but yes they have three different ways of writing... the hiragana, the katakana and the kanji...
the hiragana is the most common and easy one. its used only for japanese words, so the children learn this type of writing first.
the katakana is used for foreign words (if that is how you call it in english); thats why most bands have their names written in katakana.
and the kanjis are the most difficult @_@ so many little "sticks" to draw xD the katakana and the hiragana have 45/46 characters each, while the kanjis are more than 1000!

i know almost all hiraganas and some katakanas... the kanjis ~which are like, almost impossible~ i just know 5 or 6...

thats a start, at least :D

I dont really want to learn Japanese, but im planning to make a tour in Japan and visit the most beautiful spots so I will learn some basic things. I got this book that says all the basic things and what you will see on like traffic signs and what to do and what not to do in a restaurant and what to say when your at a docter and stuff like that. Its gonna be really usefull for me when I make my trip trough Japan ( when im older x__x)

Lol, Miyavi's been working pretty hard on his english lately and its actually really good. He did an interview in english, it was really cute cos at one point he didn't know how to phrase it and asked if he was allowed to speak japanese (which I bet his translator was glad about cos they'd just been sat there until then with nothing to do)
