MYV's posted a new blog... Since I happened upon it I figured I'd put it up for y'all's convenience... I was really sad I missed him cause he posted ten minutes after I left the computer for a while, and then I came back and I was like, aw man... I was hoping he'd update though...
But this entry kind of made me cry. We talked about this in History just 3 periods ago (yup cutting class just to read Miyavi's blog...) and my history teacher said India was blaming Pakistan, and in the current political climate, with their nuclear weapons, we might have WWIII on our hands... And reading this just made me break down crying. I hope not... I'll be praying along with him, since I don't know what to do either, and anything I say feels inadequate. Funny... he's even got confirmed atheists like me going back to faith and praying for things to get better... huh... He is much more powerful than he knows. Miyavi reminds me of John Lennon for the modern age. I hope more people listen to him than they did to Lennon.
It's stuff like this that makes me love him.

There might be something else happening some where right now.

Even so, i keep wishing, praying, and singing for the best.
I'm really thankful that I'm able to do my music peacefully.

To the people who died in Thailand and India, please rest in peace.

Hm, I must say I have no idea what have happen in Thailand & India,
but nukes sounds dangerous though.

I haven't heard anything about it on the news, thought I must admit I haven't been following the news either so particularly lately, I just read the morning paper every day on my way to work.

Not sure that either of those countries have enough nuke though to start a WWIII ... but I could be wrong ...

So he have gone "back to faith" ... hm, he surely swears a lot for someone who believes in god on his blog anyways *lol* not that it's any of my business ...

I'm a genuine atheist until the day I die, to blame a god or a devil for your own mistakes is weak and also to pray for miracles instead of making changes your self is equally unintelligent in my opinion, but that is as I said, just my opinion !

Nice picture though, must be from the same place as his last blog entry :-)

I actually managed to catch him online when he was posting it, but it was just a coincidence as I was posting an own blog entry ... so I got to be on his first page on the blog today :-)

actually, I have heard of the thing that has been happening in Thailand and India coz it was always in our news...and besides it is near my country. It really is very scary. Lots of people died and *shiver* there really is chaos over there. Militant groups and protesters are taking it to another level....even innocent lives are taken. I pray for everyone's safety. It is good that Meevs is up to date to these things which means he does watch or read the news....

Eh, it's just that Miyavi is such a good person compared to me... I barely take the time out of my day to check how my friends are doing, and I don't even follow the world news... anyway my excuses are, i'm too busy with my music and et cetera, but here's Miyavi, and he does a lot more work than I do, and yet he takes the time to update his blog, and to follow world events, and he actually ******* cares about the fate of humanity, not just himself.
Looking at him, sometimes, kind of makes me feel ashamed to be such an inadequate pathetic excuse for an alien life form.

Unfortunately, partially I think you are right !
Which I find such a pity, because then you can never really trust
what he has written and what others have made up for him.
I'm personally not even sure he writes it him self,
ever even seen it written down
or even visits his MySpace page any at all ... :souka:
Which is a bit embarrassing also, maybe we are just giving credits to some fat ugglishy web managers writings and likings etc ...
That's why I'm trying not to get too personal on his MySpace page at all!

ugh..I hate to say this but I kinda agree with you guys....but still it doesn't change that what is written in his blogs are really good...

there are some bands out there who NEVER visit their sites and have their manager write all the stuff there so maybe..you know...maybe some of the things there are are just some kind of "promotional stuff".

I heard so much about thailand and india, and I don't even read the newspaper. Shortnews in tv or something like that always tell such happenings
and I think he really heard about that. He don't need managers who write in his blog. why should anybody else do this for him? a blog doesn't take so much time
and I don't think that that has something to do with his good reputation.

Oh well I don't believe that he is like checking he fanmail everyday and stuff but I believe he wrights down those blogs. How he wrights really fits how he talks :') And when you read interviews, he is really a deep person and I don't believe that the manager answered a personal interview with him X3 I don't believe that he reads all the comments but we have to got a little trust in him that he wrights his own blogs ;p In this interview he talks pretty much about what he said in his blogs with that he wanted not only wants to perform and stuff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SjWMxjdrf0 So I just keep trusting its him like he expects us to do ;3

Of course they wouldn't, they have to make it feel like it would be "the real one" ... otherwise there would be no point in pretending either, just as the swearing an stuff, they have to make it feel like him...

Ok, I understand the need to want to believe ... but when "When Push Comes To Shove" I'm also stunned by the endlessness of some's naivety ...

I don't mean anything bad with this really, it's ok, if you want to believe, at least he pays money to someone to do it, so ok, somewhere here cares (or something, probably mostly of his own Public relations though) ... :p

I think you might find this odd folks... but...
You know how on Myspace you can look and it tells you who reads your blog, right? Well, I went there, and guess who'd been reading my blog.

I subscribe to Miyavi's, but not to Gackt's.(obviously I subscribe to my bff's too, but I subscribe to Yoshiki and Miyavi translations also and they didn't pop up.) To check if it shows all the people, I went on through my old band's account and subscribed to myself. as you can see, it shows.
Did this happen to anyone else???:clueless:

Boy am I glad that this subject came up, it's something that has been on my mind for some time now!
The thing is that I also have readers, and I don't want them really ...
I have hidden my blog with a script and disabled the "update friends" function when I post there because I want my blog to be private really ...
You see I have blogged for more than 2 years there and I like write everything down, every guy that I met what I done and felt about them, totally uncensored ! Also every lie I ever told, or even if I sometimes done something... hm, boreder line illegal !
I never had anyone on my friends list before a month ago when I added 32 J-rock, J-pop groups/artist or models.
So earlier I haven't cared to hide anything, but I have stupidly many posts there and they are too many to erase manually and there is no function for multi erase posts... but you have to do it one at the time and they are not that easy to remove.
So believe me I got such a total panic when I noticed that 7 of my groups/artists/models had subscribed on my blog, I almost canceled my hole account ... it was soooooooo close! I even decided to do it but couldn't go through with it ...
God I hope non of them reads it, I'd die of embarrassment !!! :blush:
What I don't understand is how they can subscribe to it when it doesn't even show on my front page profile ... it's not that hard to hack (even I know how to) but why would they bother ???
... and I have posted a pic saying that I don't want readers at all that looks like this !

... but that is only because I have had problems seeing his new posts on "my friends updates" every now and then ...
the subscription assures me that I'll get "his" blog updates anyways ... :-)
oh, and yes, I can be quite graphical also at times ... mostly cute things though, not less embarrassing though ...

Yeah I saw it :3 I can't give link because im on school now X3 His new hair looked beautifull there but I agree that he was kinda out of energie. At the end he sort of smiled though and stuff. It annoying me that he always wears glasses X3 although they look hot on him, I would love to see his non-makeup face ^ 3^.

Well, he calls him self just myv @ his myspace forum, but I have heard mev or meevs also before... personally I like to call him MψV because I kind of feel it's skilled whit the real Unicode script, actually I would do the whole Unicode script that is written on this hand with the upside down omega "V" or "Ʊ" in the end but it's mostly not supported by most browsers so it feels stupid ! *mwwhew*
(Firefox supports it but not most versions of Internet Explorer without modifications)

Why are his albums like "Azn Pride - This iz the Japansese Kabuki Rock" so expensive? Do they have a lot of songs? Or is it because it is an import? I am also going to purchase "7 samurai sessions" and "This iz the Japanese Kabuki Rock".... What to do? My mom only trusts www.target.com to purchase online from... GRRR

You can better go to sites like yesasia.com or cdjapan.jp. They really got much of miyavi and for a good price. I think you can look for yourself on those sites what it costs. And about the live, Im talking the PSC company one on January 3th in Nippon bodukan (Japan). I guess you know which one im talking about now ;3

Oh well that happends at my school too. Im in a class with 23 boys and 6 girls :') But I don't care at all. Im proud to be fan of something that is not tokio hotel or the jonas brothers (pretty much people listen that at my school). Im proud to listen something different that not everyone knows and stuff. naw at my school they thought he was a girl too... so i showed them a pic of him doing some insane sh*t onstage & said, why don't you tell him that to his face?? Some of them actually listen to him now... I'm trying to get a visual kei club started... but no luck cause no teacher is interested in being our supervisor T-T

anyways meevs really is a bit more feminine than other guys but to me that is very attractive, because it means he is more comfortable with all of himself and more secure (ever date those macho macho boys who're always so jealous and posessive because they're insecure and they need to outman each other constantly? if you haven't take my word for it, it's enough to make a girl want to stab her eyes out). Miyavi-sama is the most beautiful man alive, or one of them anyway... and elegance is sometimes mistaken for femininity, because for the most part, historically, men were not supposed to be elegant, at least in the westernish parts of the world.

As for the gay issue, I'm all for gay people. It's been scientifically proven that there is such a thing as a "gay" gene - if you don't believe me, google it. It doesn't matter to me if Meevs likes guys or girls or both or neither, because as far as I can see, he's a brilliant musician no matter which one it is, and whatever choices he makes regarding his relationships, I will be happy for him and not judge him, because I don't see how his relationship choices affect the quality of his music, and that's the important part for me.

How ever I don't think MψV looks particularly feminine if you compare to some other Visual Kei artist, for example I think Shou (Alice nine) looks a lot more feminine on some pictures, but it doesn't bother me either ...

well, I didn´t have problems downloading it, but I had problems with the video, at first there was only sound, but later the picture came, but the sound is a little shifted, like one second. and I played it on winamp. And Media player classic plays it as well.
back to miyavi, I personally don´t think he is gay just because he is kissing guys on stage and not girls. If he would kiss girls, it would´t be fanservice, wouldn´t it? And most of his fans are female, so what he is doing is perfectly logic...recently in an interview he said he isn´t only a musician, he is an artist, he wants to entertain people. And that´s what he is doing. It is like doing all that funny faces during interview and playing with the guitar in the stage...I love that of him.

Ok, I actually went and watched it, all of it ... all 33 long minutes of it ...
and yes, he is so sweet, and seems very collected, not at all as hyper as in the old videos that I've seen some of.
He feels older and more mature, ok, the funny faces waz fun, I admit that ... so he still have the "spark" so to speak ... loved it anyways ...
In the end when they where collecting the fences away I also realized how hard it must be to really live as a famous person, never be able to go anywhere anonymously, always having crowd staring at you, expecting you to behave and be interesting where ever you go ...
... I don't think it's all a dance on roses either ...

exactly, as you say. and in japan, maybe it is worse, because artist there are idols...like they weren´t normal people but some gods...i think they don´t feel comfortable about it. I really liked the photos miyavi posted on his blog, from berlin, or elsewhere in europe, posing with taxi-drivers, smilling..he looked really relaxed..he should to slovakia (my homecountry), he could walk on the streets without make-up and glasses, noone would know him! (well, ok, I would know him!)

As for the climate of my neighborhood, it wasn't always like that... Like, three or four years ago, I was the only one who did that kind of thing. Now, everyone is doing it. heh my peeps and I make fun of all the wannabe goth kids who walk down the block now... like we spend entire afternoons just chilling in the park or in front of the bank where everyone chills and play guitar, or we just get our boomboxes... I can't wait until I've got a car, cause then we can blast Meevs full sound and drive around spreading the word :P(and probably get a ticket for noise pollution)

Well wat we do is, we put a radio-controlled car inside a soccer ball, put that at the entrance to a dark alley where we lie in wait for him. He notices it, and chases after it. We make it roll into the alley, use a soccer ball shaped keychain to hypnotise him, and tell his driver we're taking him back to his house cause he fainted XD

Yay I see some parts from netherlands concert <3 I regonice some people that were in front X3

You know that when I was in the line for the concert in netherlands there were 2 girls, 1 with big camera and one with microphone that asked me and 3 other friends about him and why I like him so much and it was pretty much questions (And I was so hyper and stuff). The problem is that I can't find that interview >_< Those girls said that miyavi would watch it. Ahum I don't hope he did watch it.. I mean when she asked what I like about him I was like: umm he is soo hot and cute and I love how he makes special music and he cares about fans bla bla. It was pretty embarresing :') Anyway my question is if someone got interviewed too at one of the concerts when he was in the line? Wow sorry for big *** story X3

BTW about the girlfriend thing... If you go to like, pg 82 of this thread, you'll find that Meevs had a gf but she got attacked by the fangirls like several times and they ended up breaking it off and then she married someone else. So Miyavi can't even date whoever he wants to.
His funky sneakers are a very lonely place to be in sometimes, I'm guessing.

I actually have a guy who's really into me, but he's from a completely diff social sphere, the one that thinks Coldplay is the hardest rock music is gonna get. Dir en grey?? Miyavi??? Gackt???????? Who are those?? He knows nothing and I don't think I want to corrupt him to my way of thinking, because those never turn out well. And he doesn't speak like I do. I use abbreviations and such all the time. "OMFG ROFLMAO" has come out of my mouth several times... today at least. And he doesn't get any WoW jokes or ANYTHING!!! ;_; There's only so much I can do and he just wouldn't get anything... he's a nice guy but I'm not sure I'm up for it... Should I or not?? I do want to be loved, and I know he would love me, but............................................... ........... sigh.

@molestthyguitarists: I think you should talk to him, about other things, like does he like some sports that you like? or something? Maybe he thinks coldplay is the hardest band he knows, but maybe you can show him more, and it is possible that he likes that. But if you think that he isn't the right person (next to myv ^^) then I would say, it would be better to be alone.

I don't eat chicken I only have his music. I'm vegetarian :blush: since 3 years
but chicken is the only meat I often want to eat, it is sooo damn good ^^

I meant more technically, where I live, you aren't even allowed to have sex with anyone under 15 years old, or you go to prison.
Further you have to be 18 years old to get married legally, so he will be 33 when your old enough to marry him in 6 years, that would be a long wait ...
You can of course dream, that is never illegal ... :-)
