so far I watched Dokusou, The begining of Neovisualism and the last Indie live at nihhon Budoukan- there he plays the silly song If you are happy clap your hands...and makes a great prank with his staff...and throws things on ground...and people, he is performing on a stage that floats 20metres about the ground..honestly, being the organizer, I wouldn´t allowed it to him, fearing he would fall over XDXDXD

@olosta: yes, you are right, Miyavi is much better. Aoi just wriggles his hips really really really well, but Miyavi kind of subtly undulates his entire body in a way that makes even a girl who's been writing full blown erotica since she was younger than Tokyo Girl hyperventillate and have a nosebleed.

with that said, i am getting better at telling apart Miyavi and Aoi. i managed to avoid 3 Aois so far... phew... there is hope for me yet XD

... actually sometimes I feel like the support forum is miyas and my baby *:p :D*

I have to take care of it, watch after it every day, change it and update it
(so people will still think it's interesting)
and it's growing all by it self (when more people join, we are soon 70 members :-)

I have to compromise and protect it also, from spam and other people that doesn't all love miyavi, even if this far we been blessed with not getting any evil people around, but it might happen in the future.

I think Miyavi would think it would be great that a so diverse group of people like us here on the forum could go together like this and send him our love and best wishes for his new future, that I personally think he just as nervous about like we are ...

crys, you are doing an amazing work, I am really glad we have the JREF myspace support site, and that someone responsible as you is taking care of it. Well, noways there are not many news of Miyavi, nor is he active, although the news there are are more than surprising and big! But otherwise there is a kind of quietness around him....

Girls, I would be really glad as well, if the flag project succeeded, I know there are lot of projects running in the same time for MYV, but this would be something special, at least for us here! SO post the signatures to the e-mail address crys introduced!

@olosta: i know very few kanji also... and cant keep the kana straight in my head... T-T so you are ahead of me... but havent you noticed that when Miyavi speaks, he cannot pronounce R's??? i'm the same way... my parents took me to speech therapists and everything when i was a kid and no luck... T-T it makes me feel so weird not being able to pronounce certain things, but i guess he's proud of it or something???

@Tokyo Girl: if he is sending weird brain signals to everyone, then why, why, why, why can i not psychically locate him no matter what or whatever??? WHY!!! :bawling: although it is a plausible explanation... maybe my third eye (that i painted on myself) is blocking it out or something...

he can´t speak R properly because he is from Osaka. Their accent doesn´ t pronounce the R so clearly asthe accent of people from the Eastern part of Japan(you know the Kanto and Kansai dialect...Osaka is the Kansai I thikn)
and the raspberry jelly...I don´t know...but it´s just Miyavi..
I liked him without tattoos, and I like him with tattoos..:D

@olosta & molestthyguitarists: I will never, ever get the hang of Japanese pronunciation. I still have a slight Scottish accent and "r" just can't help rrrrrrolling itself.. lol. Funny thing is, when my partner tries to do a Scottish accent, he pronounces "r" like a Japanese person would. hehe. :lol:

the "r" is a funny consonant. It is maybe the most complicated and most differently pronounced in different languages of the world. And you know what? Not only Japanese don´t distinguish between an "r" and "l"....at least in the past, there was a tribe of unknown origin living on ancient Creta (you know the legend of Minotaurus and Ariadne´s red thread) called "Minoans" and they had the language similar to japanese- syllabic, only "n" standing alne, didn´t distinguish "r" and "l"...the language itsel fisn´t deciphered until today...
I am sure even today there are some languages that don´t distinguish R and L...

but to the topic...I think it is amazing how Miyavi learned english..of his own initiative...because he speaks very nice nowadays, I don´t have a problem to understand what he is saying at all and I can understand the mistake he made in spelling...I mean, I learned english for so long, and make horrible grammar and spelling mistakes myself! (and I think even native speakers do)..
in general, I adore how eruditely (I don´t know if I used the word correct, just looked it up in the dict. :) he is, I mean, he is interested in so many things, not only in his field of occupation and in Japan, but in the whole world and the events there, but on the other hand he doesn´t abandon Japan itself as well...I like how he pulls out pranks with his name and signature..like the last time, when he signed Hanatare boy...I looked it up on the net and there actually is a folk tale about a hanatare-kozou, a runny-nose boy who could grant any wish (blowing his nose LOL, I love his sense of humor)...
because you can never relax with him, you always have to look for a deeper meaning..sometimes my brain refuses to work properly and I star to have weird toughs...
But he breaks the boundaries..not only in music, but cultural and prejudices as well...which isn´t so easy in a country as Japan (nor in any other in the world actually)..well being himself a overly tall japanese with a korean origin(which isn´t exactly the best thing, we al know he japanese-corean relations) , his overly extrovert nature, inclinations to transvestism and open-minded he found the best thing he could do (when not the only thing suited for him)

Hm, so how are babies suppose to look like, like dark hairy bushman babies ?

There is only one thing I object to really and that is that both mivs and I have fuller lips than any of the "children" and we have also both bigger eyes, and mostly likely both the children would have dark hair and brown eyes as it's still very dominant over my blond hair and green/blue eyes, otherwise I think they look very realistc ! :-)

Hm, that is a good question actually, I haven't thought that far yet !
It'll be in the beginning of the summer here then and Sweden is actually at it's most beautiful then, it's the time when cherry flowers bloom here etc. and all other flowers also, I hope he wont get any allergies again when he comes here :souka:

Blood did that when i went to see them... the entire night after i went home i had dreams of doing this to Miyavi and Duel Jewel... Kiwamu tossed Fuki into the audience, and we were all over him... i am surprised i didnt have a nosebleed at the time... :love: i think no part of the boy was left unmolested... and then Kiwamu jumped into the audience, and he was in there so long the other band members had to pull him out!! :D i wish i could have done that with Miyavi... lil baby Miyavi... to me it feels as if he was a baby then, even though he was my age, a lil older maybe in some of the vids. i would prefer going to a crappy bar and seeing a halfway to average band do this kinda stuff than going to a huge arena where not one of them will see my face, standing in the back, and watching the live dvd being filmed on the giant screens above the stage. -_-" well unless it was one of my fave bands, but i think i would pay extra to make sure i was close enough to the stage to get some of Kyo's blood (and other bodily fluids, i suspect) splattering all over me... :love: mmm Kyo covered in blood.... *drools*

Searching for information on Miyavi's brother right now. :)

When looking at the pictures of his brother you posted up.

His stance while he does the high kick is pretty much perfect and doesn't get better. I'd have to see how strong and fast it was, but so far it seems professional in style.

The second picture though... a kick like that is almost never used in Muay Thai. As such, I'm wondering whether or not he's just a Show Fighter and not a real Fighter.

I'll find out soon enough. :)

The fighting stance in Muay Thai is different to normal Kickboxing.

His brother is probably a traditional Full Contact Karate (Kickboxing) fighter.

But Kanji can be very hard to translate sometimes, it doesn't alway say what it means, it's more "figurative" that actual sometimes ... what ever, let it be what ever it is.

If myvs wants to tell us who it really is, then he will, maybe I have some time to look into it later tonight ... if I find some facts I'll let you know ... :-)

well papa mama has always been my favorite song, in ways that i'd rather not go into describing... but i didnt know the words to the second one. it makes me rather sad... i mean, on some level i can understand what he might have went through, but there is so little information, that i do not think i have the right to assume anything about anything...
i am aware of the fact that china and korea were brutally invaded by japanese forces during the world war ii and thus many chinese and koreans dislike the japanese... also i know that there is a trend for young japanese women to marry korean men... some manga artist was talking about it in the back of one of the volumes, but i cannot remember for the love of Gackt's Vanilla which one it had been... i read so much i cant quite tell them apart after a while in my head...
i also know that when Miyavi was a baby starting out, he declared himself to be japanese yakuza, etc. i recall cuz it was the first thing i'd come across on him. i'll try to find the link.

well, when I think like this about it..it is true...it often tends to melt together, the japanese music scene...because hyde was allways "there" so I tend to think about him as a visual artist...funny

but when I think about it, even Miyavi nowadays can´t be taken as a "visual" artist...he is a genre on his own...
he often says the basic of his music is visual scene, but on the other hand he wants to break categories and intersect genres.

Soooo, the graphics part of the flag is finally finished.
Olosta and I have made a big job with this the last two days.

This is the final flags, with one exception.
The flag will be two sided and there will be flags and signatures on both sides,
and on the part where it says "myv" I'll put a type of smilie stones on it,

@olosta - Um. I have missing tracks for the albums, because... I'm a bad person. I completely intend to buy the CDs, seen a few auctions on Ebay that had all the albums. Just waiting for a big cheque to arrive. The university is giving me money for being smart, so I'm spending it on non-educational stuff :P

I think you don´t get the meaning of he song..don´ t get me wrong..
the song , yes, it has strong lyrics and
they may seem offensive, but he wants to tell people something I agree totally with.
that you can´t rely on others, can´t rely on god to excuse your deeds, but you are fully responsible for what you did..and do not rely on god, but do things yourself...
and do not take celebrities for a god...because they are just people like you and me
and yeah, he sings kamisama wa oresama wa desu...but I thought you know him enough to hear the sarcasm in his words, don´t you? japanese is a ambiguous language and is difficult to be understood not because it is grammatically difficult, but because words and sentences can have many shades of meaning and Miyavi is a master of hidden implications

I was looking for some lyrics that describe how I feel about certain things, like doing things for yourself and not others, motivation etc. Some parts of this song are just what I was looking for, hence why I'm off to get them tattoed in Kanji in the next two weeks. Result!:-)
Sounds silly, I know. But I have this real big thing with relying on others too much and not pushing myself to be my own person enough. I have the capabilities to do so many things, but I never pursue them. I'm always holding back on things I really want to do, and the person I really want to be... most likely because of others opinions of me. I really like your translation and interpretation of myv´s lyrics! I think you did a great job with it...
i think the mistake most people make is looking at japanese lyrics from the western point of view. Then the misinterpretation is more than necessary. Miyavi is a budhist + shinto tradition. Now that changes things a lot. In shinto, everything i the world, plants, stones, objects etc. has a soul. And kami, the gods, reside in objects of natural character- wells, rocks etc. etc.
Budhistic tradition gives every human being the potential to become "god" (and don´t forget, budhism is in it´s basic an a-teistic religion!)
God is in Japan something totally different that the indifferent almighty creature of islam and jews and christians. I think he is more close to the people but requires more to do and search their own pace. SO everyone of us can become god (but again, not n the western meaning), you don´t have to wait for someone else to redeem you, do it yourself!

as to the place of your tattoos ...maybe you could get inspired with him as well and tattoo it on you back :D

LOL. Now THERE'S an idea! I do want it kinda big, but within my budget big. Hahaha. Max ￡500 to spend. Was thinking of having it either reading down vertically (the proper way) on one shoulder blade, or having it read horizontally (like we read) across both shoulders. Either way, I found the perfect font for it. Real brushstroke style, rather than letting my tattooist try to copy it freehand, I'm printing a big copy and getting him to trace the damn thing!! haha.

It's silly for people to expect their idols to remain single for them, you know? They're only human, and its human nature to want to find love and settle down. Even if this isn't true, I find it sad that some people will overreact and hate the poor girl for getting with him. It must be fuggin' difficult trying to lead the public and the private life. And maybe it was, like olosta said, because of this that he was so down recently.

Maybe this is also why he's making his own record company, so he can still be involved in the music industry, but behind the scenes. Also explains the more grown up image, taking the piercings out etc. I would be sad if he wasn't to make anymore music, but I'd be happy if the crazy fangirls would let him have a normal life in peace.

well he isn´t. That is one thing I discovered when sorting my enourmous masses of miyavi pics. He doesn´t have such perfect skin as on the photos, he wears a lot of make-up too and is photoshopped.
Not to mention, I didn´t want to bring this up, but he probably had had an eyelid surgery.you can see his eyes are different before and now.

But that didn´t bother me at all, because he is a natural beauty and in my opinion he doesn´t need the make-up nor did he need the plastic surgery, because his eyes were big and beautiful from the beginning.

I know, i know, I am just a little jealous...but I really wish him happiness! really!

Yeah, Never be jealous or compare yourself to someone that's had the advantage of expert makeup artists, expert photographers(who know how to photograph you at just the right angles and lighting) and photo editors. Hours are spent prepping celebs for those photoshoots. Anyone would look perfect.

The only source that people are getting this information from seems to be Tokyograph. I have not found any other sources. All the other sites I've read have just quoted Tokyograph. It's frustrating reading the exact same thing on all the sites. Does anybody know any websites for Japanese newspapers, I've found a few and none have a single article about this...

It makes a lot of sense when you think about how Miyavi has changed in the last few months, and also when you read some of his blogs. But... at the moment, I'm actually starting to think that this might not be completely true... I hope it is true!

on the other hand I think it's unfair that he's keeping his fans in the dark. If it is true then he should at least tell us, I mean he read all the congratulations and he knows exactly that alot of girls are crying and all... I think he kinda owns us an explanation, since we worried so much the last few months when he was appearently having the time of his life. I do understand the "keeping-in-the-dark-thing". I mean...he is a human being who needs privacy from time to time. He has said in the past that he wants his fans to be very close to him...but NOT too close. If he chooses to stay quiet for a while...I am ok with that. You know, when I think about it better, I'm happy about his life too. But, i'm not happy for myself. We... uff.... we should just let him live his life undisturbed. :( To let him be happy with his beautiful wife and cute little baby. No metter what, i will still love him, and love his child but I won' listen to his songs, I'll delete all of his pictures, try to forget everything I know about him and just stop doing all the fangirl stuff i did before. I think I slept one hour last night before I had to go up and go to work,

The only source that people are getting this information from seems to be Tokyograph. I have not found any other sources.

I mean just because Miyavi is married, does not kill the fact, that he is just a musician and his music is the most important thing!
If he is married or not, we will never have a chance to date him or whatever.
He has the right for privacy. Just becasue he is hot and funny and sweet and skilled, does not mean he has to stay single his whole life.
I don´t care of he is married or not, I will mention he is sexy, hot, talented, I will say I love him, I will behave like always.
Cuz i am a fan and i will stay his fan no matter what.

@Tokyo Girl - I'm not going to delete his songs and try to forget him. I started listening to him because I liked his music, not because of his looks/personality. If you only listen to him with dreams of dating him, then you are not a real fan of his music, just his physical presence, which you have very very slim chances of ever meeting.

I was slightly jealous at first. But within 5 minutes I was fine, I can't understand why he has become everbody's possession. I'm just gonna be happy whether it is true or not. If it's true, great for him! If it's not true, then it means he is likely to keep making music. I have never sat and fantasized about meeting him or dating him. It would ridiculous if I did. Having dreams which can never come true just makes you more hurt when things like this happen (IF this has happened).

Ok. I'm done. Sorry for the long one. I'm not angry at anyone, I just don't understand why people would be so hurt about it. It's great news for him, be happy for him. He wants you to be happy for him.

I guess this is not funny. Many girls really overdo it a bit and exaggerate so much but I would not laugh at them. They have real feelings for him, for what reason ever.
But they should realize, that we don´t live in a dreamworld and we all are humans.
Now you all know, why stars, who appear to have mostly female fans, almost always have to hide their gf, wives, whatever.
It is sad but it is also a fact.

But laughing about those "hard" reactions is so wrong. We should hold our hands and be strong and together for miyavi. Cuz he really deserves and needs our support.

Tell what? That he was in a relationship? If I'm not mistaken most Japenese don't even tell their parents that they're with someone unless it's marriage serious, so you can't expect him to tell us more than he'd tell his mother. Also, why get your fans in an uproar everytime you start dating someone? It's better to go through this once with one person when everything's confirmed so there won't be any false alarms.

His blog is actually what made me notice him. I stumbled upon it on another site and started reading it. He does have a good aura,eh?

I have no idea WTF that means other than i can believe and trust what I want. :D but he seems annoyed or rather don't give a f*ck(could be b/c of the "rumor" or from the bad responses he's recieved.)
