yes, elanor, I look up Miyavi in photobucket.com and saw all this wonderful pictures in your account, I'm sorry that makes you angry for me to use them, I won't do it again if that displease you, I'm just not as good as others finding all those wonderful pictures of MYV, and regarding the size, I thought it would be more pleasing for everyone if the pictures are larger so it could be set as wallpaper or other purpose(at least personally that's what I like to do, use as wallpaper), not to personally attack you, I'm sorry:gomen:
and personally I don't mind if anyone use my pictures from my account

Those pictures make me think 'Miyabi'...

I tried to upload this... really I did, but my server would time out before it finished uploading for some reason. So here're a few screen shots of the clip from Due le Quartz's last live performance when they announced that they're about to disband.

Miyavi's crying his eyes out through the whole thing and he eventually emotionally collapses near the end of the song and is playing while kneeling on the floor before the audience. I was so shocked. This 19 year old Miyabi is nothing like the retarded/hyper/spastic Miyavi I know!

Hey elanor.. Do you happen to have that performance? Or is it on youtube anywhere?

I'm not sure if it's on YouTube or not. I have that clip in my desktop at home. I tried uploading it but because the file's huge, it times out and cancels halfway through uploading. Always. Bloody hell. God knows I've tried.

I'm behind 3 firewalls, router, limited computer account and am connected to my university network. So I have no idea where to start searching for the problem. I can upload small files such as mp3's with no problem. *points to her sig* But I didn't know this would happen with larger files.

Anyone have ideas as to why it's not working?

Which image are you talking about? Your avatar or images you're trying to post? If it's Miyavi pictures you're trying to post, you should go to a free server such as Photobucket or Imageshack and upload them, then put the links in your post. You can also upload them to jref's gallery but it seems the people in this thread (including myself) can't be bothered.

Yeah, same here. I've tried looking for Oresama subs but after several days and asking around, I'm certain they don't exist. I can understand about 40% of it... enough to get most of what's happening, but still. I didn't figure out that joke they had when that woman and Miyavi meet and the other they shared at dinner(?) after the performance.

I heard in a interview that he was pretty strict on diet to stay fit...like eating mostly fish, and when he went to Taiwan he enjoyed himself with lots of good food, celebritie's diet is very harsh no matter if you are male or female I guess...

Does any body know about a new single. On the Miyavi website they are showing a single called Dear My Friend for release on 4/12/2006. Any body know something about this. Also does anybody know abouy a DVD. I got an email from the melutomo and it said something about The Peace,Smile,Carnival tour DVD but it didn't have a date. Whatever I am so getting both if it is true. I mean Kagrra, Miyavi and Gazette all on one DVD thats love.

I was actually kind of the reverse (well...sort of). It took some time for myv to replace gackt for me. I mean, not to say i was unfailable against his cute lil spaz tech, but over time i just started noticing that myv was just as cute, which evolved into myv is way cuter. That and i think he loves his fans way more too (not to say that gackt dosent care for his fans. But i also think that hes working hard).

@Lady Blue: I never said Gackt is ugly. I DON'T think Gackt is ugly. The sight of him simply doesn't fry my brain cells like Hyde and Miyavi. So yes, it does come down to personal taste.

What do you find attractive bodily feature about your favourite singer? Or should I say Miyavi, since this thread is for him. For me, it's his smile and eyes. Other Jrockers should follow his example and smile more often! I love how Miyavi seems to smiling from the bottom of his heart. It's so adorable. :blush:

You stole the words from my mouth! Everything baout him seems so genuine! He really looks like hes having the best time that he can up there and it warms my heart to see it. Happiness is contagous and myv is the mother incubator!

Plus he has really nice lips that are pierced! (gasp) I love lip rings! AFter kissing one too many people with them I just fell in love with myv. In fact the whole way he keeps adding tatoos and rings all over are realy quite cute! :blush:

Plus as someone whos big on hair he drew me in right away.

And his body, and this and that, and of corse THAT! lol I could go on forever what i find physically attractive about the guy, but none of that wpuld matter if i didnt like his personality and attitude (which is one of the things that sort of turned me off to gackt...:[ )

I felt Gackt and Miyavi is on a very different line, different style different taste, different AGE, they are practically parallel, both have their own unique attractiveness. Gackt is one of those "I'm-too-sexy-type-of-guy" with lots of candles...miyavi is so shiny and adorable and energetic you just wanna take him to Disneyland or something and do practically ANYTHING to make him smile:lol:
but yeah....Gackt IS getting old (even though he says he is what, 400 or 300 some year old?:clueless:
see...I was never really into Hyde, I admire some of his photoshoots that were very handsome and beautiful, but I'm just not attracted to him, weird huh? guess just personal preference:sick:

I suppose person to person I prefer Gackt the most so far he's so intriguing, I don't know if any of you have read his autobiography but it's a bit like hrmmmm.
Not to mention I think he has the best voice for a j-music artists I have ever heard, flashiness is great and all but what I care about is the music, I could give a **** how one looks or acts, and that is what Gackt has to fall back on.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Miyavi's music... well most of it. His new song is really, not my thing however =/

With artists like myv the main area of focus is change which he is quite good at. Every singer produces a few songs that arn't liked by some in their experiments. Personally, I think Gackt's "Dybbuk" in his Crecent album was one of the biggest mistakes in his career. But I know a few who like it.

In his newer songs, Miyavi gets to showcase the improvement in his vocal abilities that can't be heard as clearly mixed in the heavy music of his older songs. That alone should make the song worth listening to, even if you don't think it's his best.

i saw it in piercing shop and it was the same (maybe it wasnt really ment for the lip i dunno). and then when i said to the pierecing master i want this in the lip he was so proud because i dare to do something like that and that he's sick of doing just random holes :evil:

aw eikou, i know that feeling. we all started with some bands, and sooner or later, we branch out and sometimes, we don't really obsess anymore over those earlier bands that we started out listening. its something like the spark is gone. like in my case, it's L'Arc~en~Ciel and Gackt. i mean, if they come out with something new that i like, i'll still buy it but to an extend. i wonder if anyone else feels the same or if its just me.

yes exactly. it's sad when i have no will to look at new updates of some band or something. but... i can't help it.

and on the other hand... it's good. because you develop your true genre. and it's silly if u push yourself and want to get every new info if that band just isn't what it was too u. i dunno... we all change. i wont even say where i started my music taste :sick:

I know the feeling, Rika - the first Japanese band I listened to was Malice Mizer (and I still do love their music), then I began listening to Gackt and L'arc~en~ciel simply because they were the next bands/artists I heard of. But I don't actually have that many of their songs - I quickly began to find out about other bands and it all snowballed from there.

Although I never really 'obsessed' over anyone/band... :worried: I don't mean to sound like a snob or something but it's just the truth. I just have certain favourites (quite a long list of favourites, actually if the truth be known!), but in terms of the actual people behind the music, in some of the bands I like the best I don't even remember the names of the members. I'm just lazy like that. :sorry: If a band is really well-known and you see them everywhere, like Dir and Gazette, I tend to remember the names then, but otherwise... I have to go look them up. :bluush:

haha yup, miyavi wears his used clothes. He doesn't go shopping much. He says that he keeps the clothes he used in PVs, photoshoots and wears them. And he also wears the clothes that fans donate to him as well. so sweet, ne? that's a rare quality for someone so famous. well kaoru says he wears the underwear that fans give him too lol but that's another case XDD

and I found out what I had forgotten`about the type of girl he likes ~ he once said he likes girls who are energetic, who do not have a lot of tattoos or piercings, and he likes to make them laugh. :-)

rike I feel ya, last time my computer broke down I could literally hear and feel the world crumbles around me, then I spent about 6 hours on the phone with Dell PC representative who speaks poor English to give directions over the phone on guiding me how to fix my precious pc.....I think I killed over a trillion brain cell over that phone, it was a terrible terrible experience, but welcome back though!

hahaha that 'shiny' crotch and the long zipper is so in-yer-face, thats y i noticed it the first thing :D :D

my fav. meev looks is the rainbow hair from freedom fighters, his beautiful look in jibun kakumei, oresama, his gray/silver hair look, and his tariraritarara (haha so funny and cute), and also miyabi with lots of leather

Let me just say that I Love them all! EXCEPT the moustache from senora look, the goth look(NOT the EGL because that is beautiful but the goth/black eyeliner one), and this new current look >.<;

yeaaaah! i hate that video, he did nothing! the audio was horrible and he look like a so normal singer.....he didn't look exited at all, i don't understand why he broke the guitar, is like out of context, maybe he could do that in a big concert, but not in a morning tv program where is the emotion? i'm not happy with what i saw...realy is the first time i feel kinda upset of him ....i think that guitar was not important for him (remember the acustic that meev always carry) or maybe is a fake one....all this is a mistery for me.....i even thought he isn't the real Miyavi :okashii:

Galyuu is a good album though personally I liked Gagaku better.

And yeah, I know how the JRocker photos kill computer memory ^^;; I have over 800 MYV pictures and I don't think it's possible to arrange them all by date. Instead I've sorted them out by the size of the image: Large, Medium or Small photos. Then, I go on to categorize by style eg. Miyabi folder, heavy VK folder and folders for specific photoshoots.

I think those here in this thread probably have tons of Jrocker pictures too. Just curious... how do you manage/organise it?

yes they seriously kill memory! >.< probably gazette has the most pictures. or it takes up the most space anyway. i sort them by modified date. it's probably not the best way but i'm used to it. is easier that way to find the most recent pics i saved.

then i put them in their own folders for each band/artist.. ^^; if i have too much pics of a particular member in the band then i make another folder for him. :mad:

I sort them by name, but by band and band members within that band. In my Gazette folder, I have folders for their old pics and photoshoots they did for specific songs. In that, I then sort them out by band member.

... My jrocker pictures folder is much tidier than my room actually. o.O;;

well, i have actually 305 aprox. from Miyavi, i don't have any images of any other...because since i get my ipod i started to dowload a big amount of songs and since i got my (burner?) i started to dowload alot of pv's so i don't have alot of memory. but i used to organize by artists, then, in the case of M iyavi i organize it by styles and cloths

I sort mine by band (or artist if solo) then by groupshot, then individual members. I then sort them by date. And talk about major memory use. I have the most pictures of Dir en grey, Miyavi, Mana (despite me not liking him I have a TON of pics...maybe I do like him???) then L'arc~en~Ciel.

um yes i think the same of those pics where Miyavi apeares with his caps, loosy sweaters, tennis shoes and funny pants, i think that is the backstage-Miyavi, who is relaxed without all that makeup and professional hair style, but i don't know how does Miyavi look in a vacation day , hoho i read in his diary the day he went on vacation of one day and he went to the movies with a friend (thought) i wish Miyavi could told us how does he dress everyday with a little picture as a bonus *.* .....i like to imagine Miyavi with a white shirt and some blue or black jeans ^^
