Hello there. I didn't even start listening to Miyavi till yesterday, but a friend showed me some of his pics and i was like OMG, he's even crazier and cuter than Gackt! So i downloaded *looks* aww...i only have 16 songs...but i like his music. I don't think his voice is as good as gackt, but i like his music, it sounds very unique. I wouldn't be able to say anything about whether i like Miyavi or Miyabi though, as i've never seen what he was like as Miyabi.

Dang! Going through this thread is like dying a million times! It was killing me seeing all those Miyavi pics. I have to say that I haven't been a meevs fan for a long time, but I can safely say that I have over 400 pics now. The first pic that I saw of him and fell in love was the one below. don't worry, sorry :p .....i can say that Miyavi is not a guy and is not a chik, is an orgarmalicious sexy being, Miyavi is androgein (miss spelled thought) that makes him more perfect, is not a boy at all, and not a girl is the perfect balance, that's what most j-rockers want (in the visual kei area)
but Meeve is not longer there and is like (no aproposito) he don't want to look as a girl, sometimes he just look as one, even if he is wearing something totally for boys, and when he use something like more girlish he just look like a wonderful woman (yes i love him :okashii: )

I used to like Miyavi and some of his music. But then I started finding out more about his personality. Ugh, I hate that "I'm-the-best-sexiest-hottest-thing-in-the-world" attitude. :okashii: It just killed any liking or respect I had for him. I mean, he has no modesty. Most asians prefer to use the chinese zodiac, but i prefer the greek. But Miyavi is a Virgo, as am I. And while the mentality (Japanese vs America) might be different I think I can understand his personalit, just a little bit though, cause their is always the exception to the rule, for example Virgo's are neat and organized. I on the other hand am not. Virgo's are modest...Miyavi is not...

Well, his poses in the Miyabi pics were different. His eyes were relaxed in the Myv ones, and in the Miyabi ones they're a bit strained, especially in the third pic. It could be surgery, but it could be just makeup, sleep, etc. My eyes are kinda similar to Myv's and they seem like that sometimes... Why does everyone think that beautiful J-Rockers all had surgery? I'm sorry but this is like an epidemic. People see someone who's pretty and they automatically think "surgery" that is sad. It is completely possible to be BORN that pretty. And I think it is really sad that we seem to think that beauty can only come from unnatural sources.

My personal opinion is that yes, he did have the surgery. But really who cares I still love the man and his MUSIC which when you think about it is all that should matter. And please Plastic Surgery is so common now so really, if a celebrity did they did if a celebrity didn't they didn't if thats what they want to do okay let them. Now the only plastic surgeries I don't agree on are the ones like Micheal Jackson (although I still think the man is a musical genious) that girl who wants to be Barbie, those girls on The Swan, and even though its not plastic surgery, EXTREME BODY MODIFICATION. Miyavi can sing he may not be on the level of an opera singer or someone on the next American Idol but what rock artist is. Its all about how you use your voice to compliment the type of music you make.

There's a livejournal group that is working on the translations for Oresama now. They should be done soon according to their website *crosses fingers* But basically Oresama is about Miyavi going back to the past and seeing himself as a child and trying to decide whether or not to change his future.....
