About the fans, yeah its selfish.. and i hate to say it but loving an artist really is selfish love. And when that person feels love for someone and someone shows it to him/her the fan gets jealous (and in this case slightly insane :okashii:) but you cant ever let it go that far.

The song makes me happy, in a bitter sweet sort of way.

I memorized it within the first ten times of hearing it, yay.

I got into Miyavi when I was searching for Gackt video's and I somehow ran into his 'Girls, be ambitious' PV. I've been a loyal Miyavi fan ever sense :). 'Girls, be ambitious' is still one of my favroite Miyavi PV's ever...but that's only because it was the first time I ever heard of him...

Well..i'm 5'2" and I was diving into a 6'0" pool..and I broke my nose..really really really really badly.

I had to have almost immedate surgery as soon as I got home (I was in flordia at the time..I broke it on my birthday, how ironic). So the first surgery I had was to Just make it look stright. It failed, it's still crooked and now the inside is messed up even more.

So the surgery is to just fix EVERYTHING
-Strighten it out
-Fix my deviated septum
-Fix my sinius cavity
-And remove scar tissue

Also, In my own opinion learning on yur own isbetter than having someone to teach yu. This way yu get through the mistakes and burdens yurself, rather than being instructed and told what to do...
A friend of mine who lives near me, who is a Diru fan, is teaching guitar. Maybe yu would have a friend who could teach yu. :wave:

I don't know whether that is true or not, but I heard he had some surgery around his eyes - so even if it is true, it is not a big sort of surgery that would change the appearence of his face a lot. :)

Yay, I have listened to it now! :happy: It's good! :cool: I think he is improving definitely in the way he uses his voice. I didn't used to like his voice, but with Miyavizm and Are you ready to ROCK, I liked the way it was well suited to blues-rock kind of growling... but on this song he uses his voice with more variety as well, which is good. And it isn't annoying to me... XD The only thing is I'd prefer the song without so much synths... I'm a big non-fan of synths. :wary: *gets hit over the head by Kozi* :auch: :sick: Waah! I mean when they are used in certain ways... which to me seem to rather blandify (not sure if that's a word... XD) a song, when maybe there could have been keyboard or guitar there instead. But that's a minor technical quibble really. :blush:

Chisa: I missed your post (must be on the next page) but I assume you want to learn guitar... :) Anyway... You can start on either acoustic or electric but it depends what music you want to play; if you want to copy Jrock songs, of course you would be better off getting an electric. ^^ I don't recommend Squier or Encore (sorry!) even though they are well-known as cheap beginner's guitars, but you don't have to spend a fortune on some top make either. IMO Yamaha is a good investment, but your best bet is probably to go to your local music shop and talk to the people there, and they will help you. ^^ Personally, my electric is a Westfield - they are a small Scottish guitar-makers, and their bottom-of-the-range models are good but still cheap. But I dunno if they have a supplier in your area.

It also pays off to invest in a good amp! :cool: Mine is a 10watt practice amp, Park (made by Marshall), and I'd happily recommend it to anyone. It might only be small, but for practicing in the house it gives all the volume you need, without any of that tinny crap you can sometimes get from cheap practice amps. It also gives a really good range of sound. :-) If you join a band and need a bigger amp for playing gigs, by that time you'll have more knowledge about what you want. ^^

If you learn by yourself, it's not a problem but you need to be disciplined... when you have a tutor or class, that kinda makes you learn things because you have deadlines and stuff. And it makes you stick at the hard things like theory. If you're teaching yourself, you need to be quite 'strict' with yourself in practicing and with learning about music theory too! ... not necessarily the really in-depth like degree-level stuff XDD, but to follow books, to persevere until you understand what they're saying.

Anyway, the main thing is that you have fun! :happy: Good luck! :p

About the plastic surgery: I read on a Chinese site that Miyavi has repeatedly mentioned in several interviews that he uses a product to make his double eyelids more obvious. It might have come across as plastic surgery in the translation. Take this with a grain of salt though. And whether he has had any other surgery--look at his younger pics. He looks the SAME. And even if he did get the double eyelid thing... who cares?

I think the acoustic album is good idea too. I mean, he can play acoustic so damn well, but I miss his rock style.. I mean the songs and his rock look, but it's interesting to see different Miyavi for a change.

I looked the song list of his coming album miyavi-miyaviuta-uta dokuso
and there seemed to be songs like 'Selfish love, Dear my love...,.How to love'
so lol, is the album going to be full of love songs? It doesn't bother me, its just nice to see what Miyavi has made this time. XD ^_^

agree - it's very very POP, as... promised? And Miyavizm made me more excited while listening, cause it was all like ''whooo! NEW!'' and ''AAAH! NEW!'', somehow, with a lot of songs on MYVPOPS, it doesn't feel new (partly because some of them aren't, partly cause I've heard some of them as singles a million times :relief: ) Still, I LOVE, LOVE how he's being all pop:ish and different (totally different!) from the old (way old now...) Miyavi-sama-rock-dude (although, he hasn't quite abandoned his old ways, no way he'll ever do that!).
I love Kekkonshiki no Uta! from the moment I heard that song I loved it. The ''We love you'' is good, (cute), Dear My friend is a great song (The PV!!, anyone!? Have seen it, love it, people agree, right!?), Itoshii Hito has wonderful lyrics and has always been such a beautiful song, aw, what can I say... the more I speak of MyvPOPs, the more I feel I like it a lot. M: Yes, this is the first time I am mentioning, I am 3rd generation zainichi (Korean-Japanese). Looking at the bloodline, I am mixed. My father's side, grandfather and grandmother are from Jejo island, which is famous for tourist site. They were living their until they came to Japan.
I: Did you know this truth when you were little?
M: No, at first the questions brought up, but I forgot. But you know when relatives get married. My father had 8 siblings. And he is the first son, so he always had to attend wedding ceremonies. I remember when I went with him to the wedding, at the front door the last names were written in big letters. When I saw it, one side was written "Lee"(李家) and the other side had "Kim"(金家). So even though I was little, (laughs) I knew those last names weren't much seen in Japan. And when I was little, I used to eat jijime(Korean food? I don't know) and see jogori (Korean traditional dress). Although I didn't know much when I was little, I knew I was alittle different.
I: So even though you were born and raised in Japan, you felt your surrounding wasn't quite Japan you are saying?
M: Yes, I felt it. I recently found out that my family's last name is Lee (李). There is Bruce Lee (different chinese/kanji character), so I thought it was okay to have Lee as last name (laughs). My grandfather and grandmother lived in Jurubashi(鶴橋). I was born in Nisikujo (西九条).
I: So after you were born, did you move straight to Hyogo?
M: No, until first grade in elementary school I lived in Nisikujo. I was very popular at stores. My mother's side grandfather and grandmother lived near, so I went to play there and they always gave me 100yens. (laughs). Also, when I went to public bath, they always bought me fruit juice and small toys (laughs).
I: So the neighbors all thought you were cute?
M: Of course(laughs), blah blah The interview is quite long, so I will stop here... www
Miyavi also mentioned of his heritage (3rd generation Korean-Japanese) to Korean magazine GMV (2004). He said, "I am mixed, but I don't think that's important. What's the point of thinking about it? When I am writing music, I think about what's important to me. I know history/background is important, but there are more important things. I've always thought that Miyavi can't be full Japanese because of his height and face. And I've heard rumours that his half Korean but I wasn't sure. And that interview proves that my thoughts were right. :-) It's actually kind of interesting that he's mixed.
