Ice cream sushi

Hi everyone,

This is my first post and I hope somebody can help me.

Some years ago I was visiting San Francisco and I went to a japanese store where they had some kind of "ice cream sushi" which I cannot find anywhere else!

This dessert was a box with 12 rolls (I think made of rice) that look like a sushi and inside they had different flavors of ice-cream and they were delicious... I miss them sooo much!!!

Please, please, please, does anybody else know that? I am trying to find more information about it, at least its name, so I can try to find it here in Canada.

Well, I was way off, the right name is MOCHI ice cream... and the good thing is that I found it here in Toronto!!!

My favorite Mochi Ice Cream flavor is green tea,the Maeda brand I regularly purchase comes in package of 6.

Mitsuwa is a supermarket chain has several stores in California,check out if there is one in your area.

Can you take a brief trip to Japan during this upcoming Holiday season,economy ( inexpensive ) 4-5 days vacation package available at local travel agency in Taiwan ?

My neighbor's daughter was in Taipei for one year undergraduate study at one local university on UC Berkeley scholarship for her major,she befriended one foreign-exchange Japanese there,she visited her in Osaka the following Summer.

No I can't, but that is OK. You can find Japan in Taiwan no problem
