I have the flight tickets but not the accomodation.
I plan to be in Tokyo for 15 dies and in Osaka for 15 more.
Total, one month.
I searched for accomodation around here, and found some options...
I found some 3000en/day/bed, so it's great, what do you recommend? The hostels appearing in hihostels are ok?
Taito ryokan really is that good? xD
I'm going alone and I have limited budget as I am a student. So, I have to think it quite well.
So, what do you recommend?
Thank you very much in advance.
PS: Japanese is not a problem. I know some, I could make a Japanese understand what I want hahahaha

I would recommend Khao-san Tokyo! I am staying there in December at some point and every review I have read on the net says they are fantastic (they got voted 3rd best hostel in Asia). Everyone looks very friendly, the accomodation is really cheap!! (about 2200 yen a night for mixed dorm rooms) look them up on www.hostelworld.com this is where you will get the best prices for them. Also they are located on prime real estate in Asakusa, about 5 minutes walk from the senso ji temple.

I just saw this - KHAOSAN is good (the staff is) - but the original one is CRAMPED! And I mean CRAMPED. You will either want to spend as much time outside as possible, and put off returning to the hotel - or just make do. There werent TOO many people staying when I was, but it still felt like you were constantly snaking around people. Definitely something to get used to.

I booked time in Tokyo as well this December, and I went with the Annex that looked bigger.

Also - are you sure youre going to be able to find a place that will put you up for 15 days? I guess money talks.
