When you say "gaijin," which nationality are you referring to?

It's lovely when Japanese are abroad and refer to locals as "gaijin". :D

"To me, "gaijin" means all people who are not Japanese. Africans, Asians, Europeans and and North/South Americans all have different characteristics but in my general perception, they are one huge group, so my idea is "us and them".

Exactly. That's what I've said all along. I'm a gaijin in my own country... :p tee hee

I saw this, and I found funny that even japanese aren't sure of who they have to call gaijin or not
